If you're like me and you have never had sugaring done before but have done waxing, this is my experience with it in layman's terms/from a consumer side: PROS: -Not sticky!! Frequently after waxing I find that the wax residue is still there and lint from my pants will stick to me and require so real vigorous rubbing to clean off in the shower later. -Sugar is not hot. It's warmed with body heat and doesn't run the risk of burning your skin. -Doesn't stick to skin or pull any layers off! I briefly had some sugar get stuck on a part of my thigh that was extra warm (warmed with body heat and wouldn't harden enough to pull off) and all it took was setting a fan on it to cool it down. So no ouchies afterwards. -Really really helped with ingrown hairs IMO. I have sensitive skin that's super prone to ingrowns after shaving and this did not cause any more of them AND even got a few out. -You can get pretty big sections done at once as opposed to going strip by strip. CONS: -So the sugar is "molded" over the surface of your skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. To me this felt very uncomfortable. When you get waxed, the wax is warm, liquidy, and goes in the direction of hair growth, so it's almost soothing? The sugar is maybe a little warmer than the room and about the consistency of silly putty, and it felt like it really pulled on my hairs as it was put on. So rather than soothing-ouch-soothing-ouch back and forth, it was pretty much just uncomfortable the whole time. *THAT SAID*: I found sugaring to be significantly less painful overall the waxing. So while it was consistently uncomfortable, it was a lower intensity pain. -Your hair does get sort of balled up into the sugar throughout the appointment. It's not like you feel the hairs or anything, but if this is really weird to you then I guess keep that in mind? All in all, my verdict is extremely positive experience! Lisa was very friendly and patient with me and didn't make feel uncomfortable at all, which is quite a feat when you're laying in your underthings on a table while someone rips hair off your thighs! I left a message after hours to schedule with her and she was incredibly quick in returning my call and getting me booked before I went out of town for the weekend. I was given instructions on aftercare to keep my legs smooth and healthy and scheduled a touch up for four weeks later to keep them like that. Side note: I am a woman with PCOS, which in part means excessive hair growth. My legs look and feel incredible and feminine, and the peace of mind I am able to get with the help of this place is fantastic. :) Highly recommend!

So I took the plunge and thought well getting another pedicure will not hurt anything but my pocket book. The store is cozy, warm and very clean. I liked the atmosphere. The young lady was super friendly and kind, I liked her as a person. On these points I would return. In regard to quality I will not return. I am currently dealing with super rough heels to the point I can use my fingers to pull lifted skin off the bottom of my feet. Also while sleeping they feel rough up against my skin. This is frustrating since I do get pedicures often and never have this issue. For the cost it is the most expensive in town and due to this I expect detail and high quality for me to want to return. I debated to leave this review as to not hurt someone's feelings but my scratchy heels are driving me a little bonkers and lead me to this review. PS: My daughter LOVED her pedicure.
