I have never had a lighter tan from there and my hands are so unevenly sprayed. The previous time I came in, my hands were also so unevenly sprayed. I walked in without an appointment, and thankfully they kindly agreed to do my hair. This was my first time getting a chemical perm. I showed my stylist a picture of how I wanted my hair to look, but the curls in the picture were larger than what they could do. They recommended a "body wave perm" instead, and I'm glad I went with it! My stylist took great care with my hair and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The entire process, including the haircut and perm, took a couple of hours. The cost was a few hundred dollars, which I think was reasonable given the quality of the service. Right after the perm, the curls looked a little too small for my liking, but they gradually relaxed over time and eventually became exactly what I wanted. Now, about 10 months later, I still really like how my hair looks with the bigger, wavier curls. I usually wear my hair either in a ponytail or partially down, and I like both styles. I think the perm will probably last another 2-3 months, which would make it about a full year in total. I'm very satisfied with my experience at this salon and would definitely come back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

While there I bought and used the $10 primer packet all over, used the hand lotion as instructed, stood in the booth EXACTLY as the associate showed me, cleaned up after as I was instructed, wore loose clothing and did no sweaty activity for 18 hours. Monday morning - By the time I woke up the next day, my tan was crazy dark on my face compared to my body, uneven on my legs and arms, and you can see droplets all over my hands, legs, etc. I fixed with at home with a mitt and Bondi Sands on my arms and legs, and it looked as I'd hoped, except for my hands where it still has spray droplets that can't seem to be evened out. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized. Wednesday afternoon - I have orange patches in some spots, my hands are still spotty, and a square inch patch on my chest has rubbed off. Little to no sweating and staying moisturized still. I've gotten spray tans before and this has never happened elsewhere. I did *everything* I was supposed to do and this tan is crap. I've used Jergens and Bondi Sands at home that have worked better than whatever garbage LA Tan uses. I completely regret buying a 4 spray tan package. What a waste of money.
