If you want details... In the spring/summer I get sprayed every two weeks. I have seen it all--used Groupons to go to junky/weird tanning places, had crazy orange streaks, once a girl forgot to do the top part of my legs (!?) and the booth spray tans that just look cheap and fake. I found an upscale tanning place in River North that I love, it's $55 for a tan but I alway pay it because I look incredibly natural and it lasts, plus the process is quick. This week I needed a tan for an event but rain was in the forecast every day. Spray tanners know to fear the rain because it will ruin a fresh tan, and I didn't want to mess around, so I found Elana and booked an in-home appointment. I chose Elana because: 1. The price is comparable to what I pay at my go-to spray tan place, but with the convenience of being in my house--a no-brainer. 2. The reviews were good. 3. New clients get a $10 off deal (making it actually LESS than my go-to brick-and-mortar tan place). 4. She seemed booked and busy--a GREAT sign. I booked an appointment with ease through her site--actually, I made a mistake, forgot my address, and texted her that I screwed up. She immediately responded to my text and said it was no problem and confirmed the appointment. This was another good sign. On the day of the appointment, she arrived about two minutes early (amazing), quickly set up her supplies, and I was standing in the booth getting sprayed within minutes. She was fast and very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable (because I was naked, I appreciated that). When we were finished, she cleaned up, I Venmoed her (amazing that she accepts Venmo) and she was out the door. The entire process took no more than 15 minutes. About the tan itself...it's been two days and my co-workers are telling me this is their favorite "tan" on me that they've seen me wear. I think it looks incredibly natural and I'm not experiencing any patching or streaking. Spray tan longevity really comes down to aftercare so as long as I keep myself moisturized, I don't doubt this will last a week. I will literally never get sprayed anywhere else.
