Before I even shared photos or my experience with them, (over text) they said it was due to my pre and post care (I have been getting spray tans for 10 years). My experience started really great! The salon was very clean, they were so welcoming and took ample time to educate me on proper care of my spray tan. I got the rapid rinse and took a cool rinse at the time on listed on the card they give you (super handy!). I didn't get wet the rest of the day and when I woke up this morning I hopped in the shower as instructed. The tan is even but the only issue is the color on me is very orangey.... I'm very fair skinned but had hoped that the tan would look natural. I'm not sure if it's the product used or my specific skin tone but I'm mildly disappointed and kind of stressed about how I'll look at graduation. Still, if you have more tan skin I think they're a clean salon with great people working! read more

I've spray tanned for years and though more expensive, Go Glow is by far the best. I have now gone twice. I give 5 stars for the first visit ( I can't remember her name but the color and experience with her was perfect). I give zero stars for the second visit with Margo. I felt like I was in a tanning inquisition that might land me in tanning jail. My only hope for a release was if I agreed to use Go Glow products. The questions and reprimands didn't stop. What did I use, when was it, don't use that, what was the name of the product, can't use that, what kind of soap, what was the exact name? I don't remember. Well, what brand? When did I exfoliate, what did I use to scrub, no literally exactly what did you use, which day, that's the wrong day to do it. I'd bought the cleanser and hydration the first visit. But I also did research. Sorry, but with tip the tan is $65 or $70 a session and I'd like to go often, not just for occasions. I'm allowed to find less expensive products recommended by professionals, right? Wrong. When I told Margo what I learned she said, "Did you Google? Because that information is incorrect." She proceeded to tell me why and which products I still needed. But I used theirs and my products combined and the tan lasted beautifully. Finally, she asked me to give a look and see if the color was okay. I said my hands seemed to have no color, could she add a bit more spray? She refused saying they would darken and I don't want them orange. Hmmm, the last Go Glow spray had more visible color on my hands and it looked great the next day. But I was afraid to argue with the warden. Sure enough, this time I look like a white pawed golden retriever. When I walked out to pay, Margo said, "What sizes will you be buying?" I said, hey thanks, I'm all good. Sorry for this long winded review but the appointment literally upset me for the rest of the day. This was offensive and reading other reviews, I'm not the only one who feels that way. I was grilled and sold and unnerved by it. It was a highly awkward experience due to this. She also sold me some products I did not need and could not even return. They have very particular guidance on what products you can / should use post tan. They basically try to push you to buy their products which is totally unnecessary at other places. The post below by Nancy is spot on. I was totally overwhelmed by all the questions and guidance. I've never experienced anything like it at other places. The girl made me feel like my skin will catch on fire since I didn't do things *exactly* right. I get that they're trying to give you the best advice to make the tan last but their approach is overwhelming and they should tone down all the rules. I love goGLOW for a lot of reasons. Where do I start?! One: The vibe of the salon. I've been to many other airbrush tanning studios where the walls are covered with tanning solution and it feels like the guns or rooms haven't been cleaned in months. That is not the case here. It's very bright and open with lots of rooms, and feels truly like a salon experience rather than a tent in the back of a random shop. The location is prime too! Two: The solution itself is different than any other airbrush tan I've ever gotten. Its made with high quality ingredients so it doesn't feel super sticky and doesn't smell. I always keep the cosmetic bronzer on for 24 hours because it helps the tan last and I don't feel gross in it! They offer a normal solution and a rapid one too if you're on a time crunch (2-5 hours). Three: The products are amazing. They really do help extend the life of your tan and help you prep your skin for your next tan. I order their products online between my appointments because I don't use anything else now! Four: The process! Its always a little uncomfortable to be almost naked in front of a stranger, but the girls there always make me feel comfy. Not a fan. This isn't my first rodeo- I know how to prepare and what to do... why didn't they ask that? Instead, they tried to sell me the exfoliating glove from the second I walked in the room and walked me though their entire product offering during the spray and again before I left. The staff were very friendly and wonderful and the overall spray tan experience was very luxurious and professional. Having an olive skin tone, I received a medium-dark spray tan which looked natural and beautiful the first couple days. I was told that with using the right body wash and moisturizer (clean and free of sulfates and other chemicals) that the spray tan would last 5-10 days. Sadly, the spray tan only lasted a maximum of 3 days which was really disappointing and the reason for the three star review. I really wanted to like this place especially because I showed up so late to my appointment and the technician was so gracious and sweet, it seems like the whole staff there is very accommodating and they were definitely still busy when I showed up at 9 PM which is their closing time, there are at least six rooms there and a few of them were full so this place is jammin... However the end result of my tan was disappointing. I get Spraytan's all the time and I travel For work, my go to is with my lady in LA and she uses Norvell Venetian which always develops a nice deep color and stays on for 5 to 6 days before it even starts fading and that's a rapid tan. I opted to go for the regular tan per the girl spraying me suggestion and told her I wanted to be very dark. After she sprayed me I felt like it looked really good and even but the next day the tan had faded very streaky with little sparkles everywhere and had a gray under town which was not flattering for my skin and about two or three days it was already starting to fade and patches so I had to get another spray tan while I was in Boston just a few days later to cover up! read more

Such a bad experience. I'm used of getting tan spray so it was not my first time at all. I'm from nyc and was visiting Chicago and needed a nice tan for an event. I follow religiously all the preparation for my session and the after care. I even bought their products to make sure I was doing everything perfectly so my tan would lasts. After one day my tan starts to peels on some areas. It was simply awful. I reach out to them to explain my issue but they couldn't care less. I'm a 90s kid. I grew up watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, and enter the early 2000s I practically lived in spray tans basically cosplaying through life as an oompa loompa. It's been YEARS since I have spray tanned but due to covid I have been one of those people slowly readjusting to the world, looking pale as hell in late July and going to a wedding....
