Dr. Levine doesn't know what in the world he's doing. I'm a clinician that is well versed in orthopedic injuries, and I was shocked at how inconsistent and incompetent this man is. Unfortunately I didn't read up on him prior to going to him as it was a referral from the VA, but he is awful. Do not go through on him. He used the ultrasound to look at my foot, said I had tarsal tunnel syndrome, to which I told him was not the case because I didn't present with any of the signs or symptoms of it and my pain was somewhere else completely. He pushed a cortisone injection, and then gave it to me in a totally different area from where my pain was, or even where you would give it for tarsal tunnel syndrome. Along with that, I did not just get a cortisone shot. Unbeknownst to me, the injection he gave me COMPLETELY numbed my foot, to the point that I couldn't walk safely. He did not tell me this would/could happen, nor did he tell me he was giving me any kind of numbing agent in the injection. My foot was red, swollen, burning, numb and tingling, and in more pain. I called the office to ask what the heck he gave me, and it was NOT cortisone. This man is incompetent and will not help. I have since spoken to other health care providers in the community, and they ALL have nothing but negative things to say about Dr. Levine. So far as to say he sends patients to PT without giving any kind of proper diagnosis, and rely on them to figure it out. DO NOT GO TO HIM. read more

This doctor was going to send my husband to a neurologist knowing that he had neuropathy with no feeling in his feet or calves. What's the point of having this test for the other doctor to say he has severe neuropathy in his feet and and sticking needles and electric with no results. He's been thru this before. I too wish I had seen the reviews prior to going to this facility. Just wish there was decent doctors in the Vegas valley. Might need to find a good doctor out of state. I was a client of Dr. Levine on two separate occasions. The first time it required a long treatment since I opted for a conservative method and Dr. Lavine's care was an absolute God send. He has all the equipment there. Since my injury was non weight bearing, it was the best combination for me. He has 3D imaging and ultrasound that tell the whole story, when you need a detailed explanation of your injury and healing process. He also partners with natural medicine that he can order for you, instead of the harsh pain medications. I opted to get the natural medicine and it helped with the pain. The appointment is honored. If you are scheduled at a certain time, you will not have to wait 3 hours like at other places. The office manager Lauren, is on top of the game and keeps track of all relevant paperwork and anything you need. No need to call the office 10 times to get the paperwork faxed like other places. The second time I needed care, I didn't even think about it twice. I went straight to Dr. Levine to help with my healing. Thank God for this place. Now I am running 5Ks and working out every day. I am surprised to see the bad reviews because I constantly dealt with this clinic weekly for over a year and never had a single issue. I am another unhappy patient. This place is a straight money grab. I went here over a year ago. He walked in first appt with zero bedside manner . Immediately told me my toes don't look right. Did the quickest most expensive ultrasound I've ever seen, told me I have a 2 bones in an area that I shouldn't. I think I had 2-3 visits here and it was costing so much money for nothing so I gave up on my feet thinking I have to start all over going somewhere else. False thinking on my part. Went to a fabulous new dr today. Who made no mention of my toes being off and no extra bone on an xray. This dr took the time and actually looked and my feet. Shook my hand when he entered. Dr. Levine is a terrible doctor. I went for 4 visits and had to remind him every single time where my pain was, what we discussed previously, what the treatment plan was supposed to be...and he spends about 3 minutes with me on average. When Questioning him about the orthotic inserts I paid $450 out of pocket for, he got very passive aggressive and exited the room never to come back in and finish the appointment. At this point they need to go out business, cortisol injections in the joint with no numbing is outrageous, if you don't know it is very very very painful. I chose this office a year or so back because it was in my neighborhood and I saw it while driving by. Dr. Levine has been a god send to me, I'm an auto-immune diabetic and I nearly lost my right foot in February and only through Dr. Levine, did I get care that at least extended the time I'll have with it. I wish that I had a better experience to review. I had my appointment today to get my toenail removed after treating it with tea tree oil. A year ago I visited Dr. Levine and was sold $65 worth of homeopathic medicine which didn't work. I was only able to be refunded $45. Fast forward to this year and I absolutely cannot clip my troublesome toenail so I ask for a referral to AFCS. Dr. Levine removed two toenails that grew back a few years ago. I originally had these two toenails removed in a different state. The toenails never grew back so I thought that Dr. Levine was the right candidate for the task. I was sadly mistaken. After getting the referral from my primary care physician who took notes on what I needed and submitted the necessary paperwork I called AFCS. I was assured by Nicole when I called that the paperwork arrived. I told her that I needed my toenail removed on several different occasions before my appointment today. I never had any reason to doubt that all the information was included on my referral. After collecting my copay and filling out new paperwork I was ushered into a room and waited for Dr. Levine. Barely a minute later I was told that the code for toenail removal surgery wasn't included on my referral. I was stunned because I had spoken to Nicole several times and reiterated what my desires were. I was never once told that the office needed another code. I was told that I would be responsible for the full price of the procedure if I got it today without the code. Dr. Levine left the room. Here is the real kicker, I called my insurance company and was told that the CODE for toenail removal surgery was included on my referral BEFORE I attended my appointment this morning. So I called and canceled my appointment and read the reviews on Yelp for podiatrist that is better suited for the profession. DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM ABSOLUTE FOOT CARE SPECIALISTS. As I saw in other reviews, I too experienced the unethical practice of scheduling unnecessary appointments so they can charge for office visits. I also experienced horrible client service regarding a foot brace that was procured by Dr Levine for my drop foot. Foremost, I was astounded that the foot brace cost well over a thousand dollars. Sounds like Medicare is significantly overpaying for the brace, but was told that Medicare is charged a standard price. My primary complaint is in regards to the horrible client service regarding trying to get the foot brace repaired. I owned it for a very short time when I noticed that the brace heel material was already starting to wear away. When I discussed the issue with Dr Levine, he stated that the brace should be returned to the manufacturer for repair. I was instructed by the office admin to submit a picture of the brace damage which I did. Shortly thereafter, I was requested to drop the brace off at the office so it could be sent for repair, which I promptly did. Some months later, I was called by the office admin mgr, and WOW was I shocked as she totally mischaracterized my discussion with Dr Levine. She accused me of refusing to take the brace off at Dr Levine's request, which is absurd. At Dr Levine's request I took the brace off and handed it to him for inspection. The office manager made it sound like I was a totally uncooperative client which is just false. I have a great respect for doctors and their staff and always make it a point to show courtesy and respect. And now even though the office mgr stated she would call back the next day, it's been weeks and I am still waiting on her call. I have now informed them via e mail that if I am not provided a resolution quickly that I will notify Medicare fraud. My story: Seen for foot pain on the top of my L foot. On my first visit Dr. Levine came in, did an ultrasound, told me I had inflammation, told me to buy an over-the-counter ankle brace, and called in an RX for a foot cream. That cream did nothing, came back after a week. On my second visit, I was given an injection in my foot. I assume it was steroids. He didn't explain, I didn't ask. Injection helped a little until it didn't. Came back in another week. On my third visit, I was told these injections were done in threes so I got my second one. I'm on blood thinners so my foot was already extremely sensitive and bruised from the first injection. This time he went in deeper with the needle. Made an appointment to come back in a week for my third injection. Two days after my second injection, I still wasn't feeling any relief and this was after resting, icing, elevating my feet, and wearing the over-the-counter brace he recommended for weeks now. It was at this time that I let my friends and family on social media know what I was going on in regards to me basically being immobile and needing to use a cane. I had forgotten that I actually knew a podiatrist in a nearby state. They saw my post and immediately reached out via FaceTime. To summarize our conversation, he said that that over-the-counter ankle brace I was told to get was trash and that I should have been put in a boot immediately. He also said that if the first injection didn't do anything, the second and the upcoming third were unnecessary and just a way to take more money from me. He also said that I should have an MRI done, which was never brought up by Dr. Levine. My podiatrist friend then referred me to local podiatrist that he can personally vouch for. I'll be canceling my upcoming visit with Dr. Levine first thing Monday. Now this is the most upsetting thing to me - my podiatrist friend claims that the certifications Dr. Levine has after his name on his business card are bogus. I did my own research on this and he's correct! I wish I would've researched Dr. Levine more thoroughly before making any appointments. Had I done this, I never would've stepped foot into his office. The first time I was in there I did not know what to expect, but they make you feel comfortable and relaxed even before shown to the exam room. They chat with you for a moment which means a lot as well. Excellent customer service. Dr Levine was so rude to my 15 year old son. He came into to exam room talking so fast we both had no idea what he was saying. We both thought he was asking how we were doing but no. Dr Levine did not care about that!! Never had met us before and He came in and asked very quickly a question to my son about why we were there.. When the response was not to his question he then responded "Do you speak English?" Wait what... I was actually speechless to how rude he was! Dr Levine was in the exam room for probably less than 30 seconds and sent us on our way with directions to soak toe & take antibiotics then come back in two weeks. Stop Thief! I called Dr. Levine's office as I was in need of a new pair of orthotics. It was December and I was leaving for London in the first week of January. I stated that I'd only want to see him at this time if I would have the orthotics in time for my departure. From having done it in the past, I knew it was simply a matter of putting my foot in a Styrofoam shoebox and mailing it off to the people that actually make them. He insisted on taking x-rays although I already told him exactly what was going on, he didn't check with insurance to see what it might cost or express any concern that it might be super costly, he was just about running up the bill. Sure enough, it ended up costing me over $1500 out of pocket to confirm what I already knew and to get me a simple new pair of orthotics, $200-300 value. Guess what? They weren't ready before my departure, so I couldn't get them until March, and he didn't account for the lift that my right leg requires, as it's shorter than my left. To adjust for this, he didn't make me a new pair, but rather tried to rig the incorrectly made pair. As a result, they fell apart prematurely. When I contacted the Dr's office by email 2 times expressing, in gentlemanly terms, how I felt I was treated and that a replacement pair even at fair value, not free, was a fair expectation I thought, I got no reply. 100% you can do better than to see Dr. Levine and his at best questionable character. This place was horrible... it has taken me a little while to actually write this review. centennial pediatrics referred me here for my sons ingrown toe nails and the experience for him was traumatizing to say the least! The Dr gave me 3 options.. 1. epsom salt and antibiotics which I had been doing with no relief. 2. So nothing! What kind of Dr suggests this looking at a 10 year olds painful ingrown toes??? 3. Have the procedure. I said we had to do with the procedure and he pulls out the big needles to give my son shots. I asked if he had numbing cream or anything and he said no and immediately stuck my son in the toe... no warning no care that this was a scared 10 year old!! I had to jump out of my seat and hold my screaming son down! After he was finished with the shots he looked at me and said I will be back in five minutes when you have calmed him down and you can sign the approval for the procedure. I have never been so angry with a medical professional in my life! It's an experience my son will never forget... Been in here several times to see Dr. B. Scheduling is always very quick and easy and able to get in quick so that's a plus. Office staff is pretty nice, but spacey (have a hard time following up with stuff they say they're going to do) . Office visits are always quick and he doesn't keep me waiting. Got my eval and Dr. B order me some orthotics to help with my gait and diagnosed my mystery pain in my toe joints. From my limited experiences this place works, but nothing stellar. read more

I was scared to death about going to this place, but I was having some serious toe pain and wanted to get back in my skates! Surprisingly, I had the best experience I think I've ever had at a medical office. I saw both Dr. Levine and Dr. Besinger, and both were exceptionally friendly yet professional. The doctors are also very prompt-- I probably only waited 5 minutes for all 3 of my appointments. At my first appointment, Dr. Levine examined my toes and offered me 4 options, from surgery to do nothing. He offered his opinion only when I asked for it, but let me make my decision. I opted for the surgery, and he said he could do it right then or I could make an appointment to come back. I decided to come back, and was able to make an appointment for the next week. For the surgery, I brought my husband, and everyone was very kind and no one teased me for needing a hand to hold for such a simple procedure. Dr. Levine went over the procedure again before doing anything, drawing on my toes to ensure we were on the same page. The numbing shots hurt like hell, but whatever they use to numb really works! I couldn't feel anything when he was doing the procedure, or for at least 6 hours afterwards. Afterward the procedure, which he performed quickly and precisely, Dr. Levine gave me a printed after-care sheet and explained every step to me. The office also allowed me to split up the payment into two parts. At my follow-up appointment, I saw Dr. Besinger, who works on Saturdays. He was extremely gentle with my toes and cleaned the wounds with precision. Since one of my toes is a bit inflamed, he asked me to come back after 2 more weeks. I really appreciate the high level of attention to after-care-- they really seem to care about my long-term results. If you are in need of podiatric care, I completely recommend Absolute Foot Care Specialists. I am so glad I went-- my feet are thanking me! read more

I'm a type one diabetic, our feet don't heal the best. Waiting a month to do surgery possibly was insane. At a month he said, well we'll give it another two weeks to see how it's healing and come back to it. At this point, another two weeks would be six weeks of healing. I come to see Dr. Biesinger about once a month and he cuts the calluses off the bottom of my feet for me (my heels from work kill my feet) I make a 30 minute drive to see him BC is he INCREDIBLE!!!!! He's so nice and knows feet. He literally is my hero. I can barely walk sometimes my calluses are so thick and he shaves them down safely for me. Doesn't hurt at all! This is not a very reputable business! the Front Office Staff did not think to advise my husband in advance that his copay would be $339.00 due we had not used our deductable. My husband checked in for his appointment and the receptionist advised him he had a copay - again no mention of the amount. She took his credit card and charged it without again advising the amount. Charges 200.00 for foot scan, insurance paid 80.00. Next visit another 200.00 for another ultra sound. Trying to stick me with another 200.00 bill, after insurance. Came here to see what they could with my ingrown toe nail. Saw doctor B who did the procedure for me that day. He seemed at the time like a knowledgeable doctor who knew what he was doing. Had to give me 3 injections to numb the toe..waited a while for it to kick in and then he did the procedure. As he told me I would have no pain and no restriction after. WRONG....after the anesthetic wore off I was in excruciating pain I've ever been in. I was barely able to walk..and hardly could get any sleep the night i had it done. The day after which was a Saturday my mom had called and there was no answering service to get in contact with the doctor. So I had to go to Urgent Care. Now when I went into Urgent Care the doctor I saw couldn't believe what a half ass job the PODIATRIST did. To top it off I had an infection so I had to take antibiotics and pain medication to reduce the pain. The doctor I saw in Urgent Care gave me more information on how to care for the toe then the damn podiatrist did.
