The neat part about dealing with Dan is that he will tell you right up front if he thinks he can't get the stain out. I like that honest, forthright approach. The first time they did it, the tub started to chip again after a couple of months. Well within the warranty period. So since then I have been in this back and forth war of when they will have time to repair their mistake. This is a black owned business, or so I was told that, so I have been more patient than I would have been normally. I will upload a photo of what the tub looks like now, later. The final straw was yesterday. We had a greed to have them come in and redo my tub. The tenant was supposed to leave the key in the lock box. The tenant forgot. So instead of contacting me (what a professional company would have done) so that I could provide access via key delivery or having the front desk provide them with a key, they just left. Save yourself some trouble. There are better companies out there. ANd if you can find them, message me because I still need to have my bathtub resurfaced in an environmentally friendly manner.

So I am to believe there are two Nationwide Carpets in Woodbridge VA, and this incident happened "with another company" but, still the "technician in question has been terminated from Nationwide," which admits the connection. Also, a week after I posted this review, Wayne the Pain called me and offered to pay back what he owed to me through the Small Claims Court if I would remove the post, and I agreed. I am still waiting for Wayne the Pain to pay back the amount owed, plus interest and court costs. That is the resolution sought then, and now. Therefore, I don't know why he would do this if he and his brother, who was then the owner of the business, now have nothing to do with Nationwide Carpet Cleaning.

I recieved a text that my tech was on his way. The tech, Mike, introduced himself by name and was patient with me as I had to put my kids on the bus. He then walked me through the process before starting any work. Mike wore shoe covers, properly protected the corners of the home so the hose could run smoothly, and was very communicative the whole way through. He was obviously very knowledgeable and left my house smelling fresh and looking clean. The next time we have our carpets done, Ill be requesting Mike (from Bowie location).

Where do I even begin? I scheduled service for a day that I took off from work to be here for the…read moresix-hour - yes, six hours! - window this company requires for service. I spent another half-hour preparing the room where the work would occur. I was very explicit in my instructions when I booked the service that I could not guarantee street parking for the technician's van, but I could provide garage parking. When he arrived, he said he could not park in the garage and there was not immediate street parking in front of our Home, so he left. Five minutes later the space opened up in front of our home and I immediately called dispatch and asked that he returned and do the work. They said it was too late; he had already moved on, five minutes after he left my home for what would've been a multi-hour appointment. On top of that issue, the company sent me a confirmation email with the photograph of a technician who was entirely different than the technician who showed up at my home. I understand that schedules changed, but given that that is a security and safety precaution, the company should've followed up with an update that a new technician would be arriving. After all of this, the company kept insisting that they could come back tomorrow after I told the dispatcher repeatedly that I was unavailable for the rest of the week because I would not be home to allow the technician in. His solution was to continue to offer tomorrow as the service day, along with a $25 discount on what would have been an $800 cleaning job. All around incredibly disappointing experience with even worse customer service. You lost a customer for life, Stanley Steemer.
