Howard was awesome. He came by and gave me a free quote promptly after I called him. He was equipped with a tape measure and notepad to write down everything we talked about. He even got under the house to scope out the job. No other plumber did this when giving me an estimate. His estimate wasn't the highest nor was it the lowest but I feel like it was fair. The final price even came in a little lower than the estimated price. He seemed to be very conscious about finding the best and most cost effective way to do the job. We have used Absolute Plumbing several times and love them. Today the shut off valve in our upstairs bathroom sink faucet fell off and water was dripping everywhere. I am a first time home owner, and let me tell you it has been a stressful time starting the first week I moved in. Suspected a possible leak from my washer box and in one of the copper pipes near the kitchen. Called my home warranty and they and they sent one of their contractors out that ended up cutting a a large hole in my wall and left without fixing anything and told me that I needed to pay $8000 out of pocket because my entire plumbing needed to be fixed. He came out for a quote, gave a good price and good assessment for our kitchen faucet, leaking disposal, and hot water recirculator. He came and installed them on a later date, and everything was perfect. I originally thought the hot water recirculator wasn't working well and reduced my water pressure but I discovered it's my fault -- my showerhead had a heavy eco filter that I removed -- and wow, we have amazingly quick hot water in our house now. Absolute Plumbing really is Woohoo! As good as it gets! Howard and Robert have indeed built their business on honesty and integrity, and trust me, after having a chronic plumbing issue with my 103 year old house, I now know the difference. Discount plumbers came out and ripped me off 3 different times, so don't be fooled by their flat rate-- they have no idea what they are doing (this includes their so called master plumber Redd) and Super Drain, although they might know what they are doing charge for absolutely every second they are on the job and charge extra for any piece of equipment they might wave their hands over. For example they charged me $250.00 for the same job Howard and Robert charged $158.00 to do, which was clearing my main sewer line from the bathroom, which included having to pull the toilet because my clean out wasn't functioning properly. Eventually, after struggling with multiple plumbers, I entrusted Robert and Howard to repair a fairly complex plumbing issue which included running their camera and sound devices to diagnose what ended up being a series of broken sewage pipes under the cement of my back patio. This was a HUGE REPAIR. In addition they put in a working clean out. I had alternate plumbers wanting to charge almost double (thousands and thousands of $$$$) more than what I ultimately paid Howard and Robert. They quoted me a remarkable price for what was extremely difficult work and did not tick-tock clock me ridiculous hourly rates. Mind you, in the end the job wasn't inexpensive, but I felt like I got a great rate and the job was done correctly. You don't know plumbing problems until your sewer line breaks, trust me... so gross. As a final note, I really feel like I should mention what personable, nice and pleasant gentlemen Howard and Robert are, just hardworking salt of the earth guys.
