Moving Day! I…read morereceived my U-Haul here just 2 days prior to my moving date. I had changed my moving date, and specifically requested a 10' Truck with a Tow Dolley for my move. The locations in Killeen didn't have my requested truck, so I had to drive 30 min to Gatesville to receive my truck. U-Haul gave me 30 free miles to compensate for the drive. The employee on site was very compassionate, helpful, and assisted my dad and I with the equipment. It was a bit of a drive, but the assistance and requested equipment greatly assisted me with my move.

I needed a Tow Dolly, but the software said be back by 3:45 pm. I was moving my Mom's car to transmission shop in Gatesville. The signage was very hard to find as we passed by and turned around.. We got the Tow-Dolly at 9:40am, and got back by 1:30ish. I got back $16.00 bucks as my deposit. I stepped into some fire ant mounds and got bit on my legs.. Yet, I took photos of the tow dolly and brought it back. Me and my friend now have to re-rent the tow dolly to move another car to part puller company for some cash.. My first real experience dealing with U-Haul.. However, I rather go with B&W than Vernon's in Evant.

Communication was with Billy the entire time and he's an awesome guy. They also checked up after the work was done which is awesome. I called RNR beforehand for an alignment just to drive and find out they had no techs for an alignment and they were super rude when I came in. I don't know why but it is super hard to find solid businesses in this town with people who enjoy what they do/have a positive attitude in their workplace. The alignment here was like $5ish more than RNR but man that extra $5 is worth it for the experience/friendly employees.

Want the check engine light corrected and strut replaced . 300 dollar for what they called level 2 inspection and diagnosis that does not go toward the repair!!!!!!! Sent me a list of numerus thins they said needed repair . I only authorized what I took it in for . 2000 dollars later I went out to get in truck and the battery was bone dead ! They wanted to keep it another day and do more tests , I was very uncomfortable with what was going on so I told them no I have a charger at home I went home charged my battery and it is holding a charge . And then you add that the check engine light is back on and took it somewhere else and had the code read , it was the same code as before . Of course they wanted me to bring it back in !!!!! At this point they didn't admit doing any wrong with my battery !!!! I will never let them work on one if my vehicles again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This choice of service provider is M & B Auto Repair. I generally chose maintenance services to gage the attempted gouges many repair shops attempt to inflict. Overall safety inspection and oil change were the services requested. The 2008 Lexus RX350, had a complete check in August in anticipation of an 1100 mile trip, and headlights/high beams changed to LED for better night time visibility , so very little was needed. I had an early Wednesday appointment , so I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon. The shop called with an update right before closing Tuesday. Along with the oil change, I needed a belt replaced. Been quite a while since that was done , so I was very satisfied with the discovery. The work was completed just after noon on Wednesday. Bill was just over $200 and I'm not feeling gouged, overlooked or abused. Best way to feel after getting work done on your car. Thank you to the gentlemen at M & B Auto Repair... we will be back!

When I called Al's business, they were glad to complete my work the next day (Saturday) and for a reasonable price. I arrived at 8am and was out the door by 10:30am. They changed my spark plugs, replaced a t-valve, and troubleshot a taillight blinker all within this time. Zero hassle, no price gouging, and accurate estimates. The repairs were supposed to include fixing the passenger door frame and replacing the door. I chose them because they seemed nice, professional, and the timeline worked perfectly since I was leaving town for work. Instead, it took them 3 weeks to finish my car -- and when I finally got it back, the work was sloppy and incomplete. The passenger door now rattles like something inside is loose or broken, there's paint overspray on my windshield, and the door speaker no longer works. My husband and I tried several times to contact the owner, Lenny, who originally quoted us the 5-7 day timeframe, but he completely ignored our calls and texts. No response, no accountability. This shop clearly cuts corners and cares more about taking your money than doing quality work. They'll hand your car back unfinished and then avoid you when you call them out on it. Do not take your vehicle here. Unprofessional, unreliable, and not worth the headache.
