We hired them for our move our clean but unfortunately we had to fire our movers since they broke and scratched several things including our Tv, fridge, old door and new floors in our new Build. I cannot thank The absolutely better cleaning crew! They were extremely nice and professional and helped me put stuff aside. They left the home spotless on a rainy day and cleaned regardless of the circumstances. I am so grateful for them and will never forget them working around the issue. Not sure if this is a business issue or a Yelp issue, so I decided to give them three stars in spite of their limited response. Have not gotten to the house-cleaning stage. I completed the request on-line today for a quote. Provided all the details they wanted plus got specific about extra cleaning I am looking for, such as wooden blinds cleaned. Selected three dates they could provide the quote to me, basically today (Friday) and the weekend, Sat/Sun. Also picked those days of the week as the ones I'd regularly want as my service date. Response from the business was lacking (see attached). They were "unable to service," and do not work weekends. I guess that means no quote on the work and future Fridays are out, too? Probably won't pursue anything further here. read more

This service was truly a lifesaver! I have a busy work schedule and have been out of town on business. I have guests coming tomorrow and would have had no opportunity to clean. I asked for a deep clean with a few areas requested for specific attention. This was my first time using a cleaning service and it was awesome to come home to a clean, fresh apartment! Pros: - fair and competitive pricing - excellent job with my fridge and freezer - communication is great. they return calls and emails promptly. - friendly and accommodating - very thorough - cleaned baseboards and above doors - they left a written note for me describing the service rendered. - with the exceptions listed below, they went above and beyond my expectations. Cons: - they broke one of my hanging blinds and i may have to pay my apartment complex to repair and replace it. - they dusted my ceiling fan right onto my bedspread. ( i was hoping they would cover the area below the fan or vacuum the fallout ) - one of my specific directions was to clean the shower head and controls and the shower head was not touched. The cons are far outweighed by the pros. I will likely use them again for times when my schedule gets crazy. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Not impressed with this company. On Monday 4/22, I called and left a message to get a quote (I hate online quotes). On Wednesday, 4/24, I finally got a return call. Unfortunately, I was at a restaurant and it was noisy so I stepped outside to take the call. The connection was horrible -- I could barely understand the person on the line. From the very beginning I could tell that we were going to be very happy with their service. Very quick responses and great customer service. We did a move out deep clean and when we walked in afterwards we were floored at the level of detail that was attained and the house looked brand new. I sent some communication while the cleaning group was there and got updates. I showed up at the end and was greeted with warm, smiling faces that looked like they just showed up. I am not a huge fan of internet quotes but the quote was in line with other pricing I had received from competitors. I contacted Absolutely Better and set up the day and time for them to come to my home. They were on time and did a great job. We had recently done some renovations and we needed a pretty good cleaning from all the dust.. It wasn't the fastest job but it was thorough, which I appreciated. We have had many cleaning companies through the years. This day was like my kids trying to pick up the house. Very basic. Towels were not presented nice, garbage in the garbage cans. A garbage bag was left in the kitchen. My kids beds were not made nice. Special pads were not put on another bed. I am not impressed. Very nice people to work with. I recently moved to Dallas and was trying to find a new cleaning service. It took me a long time and a lot of trial and error to find a decent one in Austin, so I was not looking forward to my search. I called multiple places and got a similar quote from everyone, but went with Absolutely Better Cleaning because they were very nice and professional, and are a relatively new business so I wanted to give them a shot. They sent one person to my house, but she stayed for a very long time doing a thorough clean of my house, getting under furniture, wiping everything down. I was very pleased with the time she spent on my house and the detail she put into cleaning it. I have a few dogs, so getting under the furniture is a must. Its the first time I am writing a review on yelp. I called up Absolutely better cleaning on 10/21(Friday evening)- talked to Lem for about 20 min, about a deep cleaning for my home. They said they have availability for tuesday 10/25 as I had to have the cleaning done before the Saturday 10/29. I gave the house details(the address and the Sq.ft and the location specifics) and we agreed on the price which was reasonable. I gave the payment card details and he said someone would be calling me around 8.30 on Tuesday. Then comes the surprise. I got a voicemail saying they don't have my address and If I don't call back they will cancel the service. When I called back on Monday morning, the lady who picked up said since they didn't have my address on file they cannot honor the booking for Tuesday and they don't have any availability for 2 weeks. Beware of the cleaners who back out on the last moment or gives you lame excuses. I had given my address and it was mistake from their representative that he didn't note it down. I need to go n check my card now if they have charged it. read more

We used ABC before our son's 6th Birthday Party so people would think we always live like that and they did an amazing job! There were 3 people (husband, wife and another man) and they were here for 3 hours - we got a deep cleaning. I cleaned before they got here bc, while we don't live like complete pigs, we do have 3 dogs, 4 cats, a few rodents in cages, 2 kids not in cages (most of the time) and 2 adults that maybe don't clean as often as we should... I thought I'd done an ok job cleaning before they got here. Ha! By the time they were done, I realized that whatever it is that I do when I'm 'cleaning', it's not the same thing as they do. My house was spotless! I almost didn't want a buhgillion kids in my house the next day for the birthday party, but I allowed it (bc I'm a kind and benevolent mother). House cleaning - very good/excellent (but did miss the utility room); however, overall the customer experience was less than desirable. The job was for deep cleaning. Due to personnel issues company requested they come earlier than committed (noon) - we could not accommodate their request. Received call that company would not arrive till 3pm (actually 1 person showed at 3:20, rest of crew at 3:40) - due to deep cleaning I suggested reschedule as did not want the crew to hurry the job or be at the house past 6pm. Company rep said no problem, that crew could easily complete job in timeframe. While the crew completed the job before 6pm, later feedback from the company was the crew was stressed and would not return in the future. From the feedback conversation, I had the feeling as the customer, we should have a adjusted our schedule to accommodate the company's personnel issue. read more

Just when you think you are getting ripped off from all these maid services inflating estimates and doing a mediocre job here comes ABC. I was a little skeptical because they are brand new and couldn't really find that much about them online but I looked into them and they seemed legit and trustworthy so I took a chance. You will think that it is too good to be true by the estimate they give you but it is deal beyond any other maid service you will find out there trust me. I had my parents coming to stay with us over the weekend and I needed my place spotless. Full deep clean and I asked for extras. Debra showed up and she was so nice its like we all became friends instantly. I felt completely comfortable leaving for work for the day and having her there by herself. All I can really say is that I've hired about 4 or 5 different maid services over the years probably about 8 times total and ABC is hands down the best I've ever had. She went above and beyond and her attention to detail is great. I went through and checked everything doubting a few things along the way and she proved me wrong every time since she knocked out everything I could possibly think of. We have a 2 bd/2 bth about 1200 sq ft and she did such a great job we will only use them from now on. Hopefully in the future when we eventually get a house it is within their service range. I should preface this review by saying I never have anyone else clean for me, but we just completed some flooring and kitchen remodeling and I could not handle all the dust and debris that was created. I was forewarned it would be bad but I was still shocked at how that tiny layer of dust just wouldn't go away and so decided to call in professionals. I tried looking through Home Advisor and found a few numbers to call but the prices were insane. (in my opinion...again, no real reference point, I never pay for house cleaning) I tired Yelp and found ABC and read Joshua H's review (thanks Josh!) and decided to call. Omg, these people just changed my life! I hadn't actually lived in my apartment for about 6 months and had 2 cats that pretty much took it over while I was gone (had friends that stopped to check on them but they didn't clean up after them really)... Debra and her husband were kind, warm, flexible with our busy schedule (did you hear I say FLEXIBLE??) I can't agree more with the other reviews also when they talk about how it feels like you have just reunited with an old friend when you meet Debra as well. She goes above and beyond (as does her hubby) in helping in any way she can. Let me give you an example. I had a bad tooth infection and needed to desperately reschedule our time to clean the house twice. Instead of being upset (and rightfully so) I felt zero frustration on her part and instead, received some text messages with "advice and suggestions" on how to help cure my tooth. I couldn't believe that someone I had met only once could be that thoughtful and kind!! Says soi much about their heart and the level of service they provide. Now lets talk about their skills. Blown away!! The house (filled with pet hair btw) had never been cleaned to well ever!! They own and use an extremely updated and mega mega vacuum that not only picks up the pet hair instantly, but it helps to eliminate the allergy junk that goes along with pet hair and room toxins.) We literally hit the cleaning service jackpot with Absolutely Better Cleaning and wish I could convince everyone who is tired of "shopping around" to try their service just once! This is an update to my previous review - which was five star. Lem and ABC were great for the majority of time they cleaned our home. After several months though we saw the level of service start to slip, they were not doing as thorough a job as they had been. We made Lem and Debra aware of the issues and while one would be taken care of, another would pop up. Then, last week, the day after cleaning our home we received a very vague email telling us they would not be able to provide cleaning services to us any longer. No explanation, no warning. My husband works from home, he was here and they could have told him - common courtesy. They did the same thing to our neighbor who also used their services. While I understand things change in business, I cannot understand the very unprofessional way ABC terminated their services with us. For that reason I cannot recommend using this company. read more
