I had a…read moresituation where excess construction materials (roofing, concrete, etc.) was dumped illegally on my parcel in Lancaster. As a result, I was cited by LA County, and needed to get it taken care of ASAP. I called Julie at L&S Construction in Littlerock, who arranged with Lawrence, the principal, to visit the site right away and provide a quote. Lawrence took great pains to make sure the garbage was actually on my parcel. He even went as far as to visit the parcel WITH the environmental rep from LA County just to make sure the facts were straight. (Who does that? He could have easily just gone ahead with the job, and I wouldn't have been the wiser....) I was impressed. It turns out the garbage was indeed on my property, at which time Lawrence and Julie provided me with a fair quote and offered added-value options like building berms and No Dumping signs. Not only that, but L&S wouldn't accept full payment until the citation was fully cleared with LA County and the job was completely done. All in all, a very satisfying experience. I couldn't recommend L&S Construction more highly! They were friendly, fair, and professional. And that's all I could ask for.

They never found the tank or completed the job\. They promised they would obtain the city or county blueprints and return to finish the work, but it's been almost a year and a half and they never came back or followed up\. They even suggested I break part of my concrete patio, which turned out to be unnecessary because they were looking in the wrong place\. I understand difficult jobs happen, but I paid for a professional service that was never completed\. I received no solution, no refund, and no accountability\. Very disappointing experience
