I purchased an AquaPro 5000 five stage water softener filter system along with a reverse osmosis alkaline system from Fidelis Elite System about 13 years ago it has preformed flawlessly and at a great value. However recently my reverse osmosis alkaline system had a very small material at the tip of the faucet I had never seen before I called to report it and without hesitation Fidelis came out and replaced my entire reverse osmosis system. I have always been very pleased and impressed with the quality of the product and the integrity of the company but to see Fidelis stand behind their product and warranty after 13 years confirmed I had purchased my system from a top notch company. If I could give less, I would. Yes, great water quality, but what they don't tell you is the upkeep cost...... "it'll last you a lifetime". But you need to spend $300-$600 a year on filters, parts, and service on the RO. The unbreakable water filtration system.... You will have to pay the $300 service fee when their system breaks (charcoal layer collapsed). Their system is proprietary... yay... which means you can only get parts from them, and pay their costs. That is how they make sure you are stuck... pay $8k for an "elite" system and additional hundreds a year. I think the only part of the system I loved was a part not even related to the system ... I hate to leave a bad review, but I'm very uncomfortable with the numerous vague solicitation mailers I have received at my new home from this company (not that you would know it's from them until you call). I've only lived here a few weeks, and Fidelis Elite has sent me around ten of these. It feels scam-y, and I would not work with a company, no matter how good, that needs to engage in this type of trickery to make their pitch. They could send a simple brochure outlining what they offer. I have received many, many normal mailers from vendors since moving in, but this is the only company that sent out multiple, intentionally vague "you have a parcel waiting" postcards. It's particularly concerning that I live in an area with an older population who may not be as aware of potentially shady practices. This business has clearly gotten plenty of feedback about this, and the business owner's responses to these complaints are dismissive at best. They contacted us claiming to be affiliated with the City, saying they needed to come out and "test our water" as part of a city initiative and that we'd receive a $100 gift card afterward. When the rep arrived, he immediately launched into a water test, telling us our water was dangerously poor and pushing us toward a filtration system that they quoted at nearly $10,000. The presentation took over 2 hours..... As soon as we mentioned wanting to shop around and get a second opinion, the tone completely changed --he got visibly annoyed and began packing up quickly. He said he was disappointed in us and they never fail to close. He thought for sure we would buy. We asked again about the gift card and were told it would be sent to our email... except he never even asked for an email address. I went back and messaged them and they sent me a $25 scam link. On top of that, this company uses fake notices in the mail ("Parcel on Hold" slips) to lure people/me into calling, pretending it's something urgent. When they scheduled a follow-up, they insisted that both spouses be home, which felt suspicious. Then they sent a rep out 30 minutes early for our Sunday morning appointment. They told us we had sign now to get the discount! They kept trying to push how it saves you money and wouldn't show any contracts. Once we did some research, it was obvious their pricing is outrageously inflated, and there are TONS OF ISSUES with their systems. Such a scam, got several of their "Final Notices" in the mail. Didn't say who they were when I called the number (1st mistake). And stated that they would come over and test my water system with a $25 Amazon gift card. Needless to say that the person they sent was a salesman trying to push "Buy today to recieve great gifts" pushing the 5 year subscription program. Saying the device was an "investment". Anything with wheels or motors is ALWAYS a liablity (follow Dave Ramsey on that one). Needless to say, my wife and I declined his "generous" (lol) offer. And said we would rather think about it and pay in cash when we had it. He was not happy, and after the 1.5 hours he did his "45 minute" test. He left in a bit of a huff. And to put the final cherry on the cake, we were interested in the $25 gift card, which the original operator said would be presented to us at the end of the testing, but the "seller" said it would be email. This company deletes 1-star reviews- one of the many ways they attempt to deceive would-be customers. You may have received a letter in the mail asking for you to call a number in order to receive a parcel or a gift card. Follow the prompts and you will be directed to an (admittedly friendly) agent who will ask you for the corresponding code on the mailer you received. This begins the sales process, in which a rep is scheduled to test your water and sell water treatment solutions. I ended up scheduling an appointment but did not get very far in the sales process. I was told that I would receive an Amazon Gift Card during my visit but the sales rep claimed he didn't have any gift cards and would need to pick one up from the office. This was a waste of my time, I asked for the meeting to be rescheduled so that I could get what was promised on the initial mailer. After he left, I was not contacted by the company again. If you are coming to this Yelp page to determine if you should use them for water treatment services, I would urge you to consider if you would prefer a company that markets its brand with strong customer service, safety, and a quality product. I have being trying to get service on my system for the past three weeks and it has been outright frustrating. The company cannot take online payments, and it forced me to send a check to their location in Lake Elsinore. I refuse to share my credit car info over the phone because service reps in the past have taken the information and gone on a shopping spree. That being said, I sent the check weeks ago to get my system re-filtered, and at first, they misplaced the check. When they discovered the check, they told me that they could send someone out the next day, but then a person called to say that since the check - which is with a major bank, had not been cashed, they would need to cancel the appointment. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said that they could have a manager call in 48 hours and no one ever did. I called back to to get an email address to send a note about this to a manager but they would not give me anyone's email address. I like the system, but their customer service and management team all need to be better trained to respond to the needs of their customers. read more

I think they're actually violating an Amazon copyright by using Amazon gift card logo to "get a $25 gift certificate" for a purpose other than intended although corporates can buy hundreds of cards and give them to prospective customers once they agree to make an appointment which I gather is their game, by calling 619-824-3484. When you get one of their phone Representatives, the name of the company is spoken quickly and slurred as Sidelis Elite --- you are informed that they are a water company after you ask several times and give them your name on the card there are SVN number and the address although you are not certain by any means to whom you are speaking. They infer that they offer an alternative to your Municipal Water, but when you try to nail them down to any specifics, the agent will then dissemble and equivocate and say they cannot speak to you if you're not the person named on the card. I happened to be calling as designated agent as female e homeowner named Went downhill from there: rep with a hostile dismissive voice said she could not speak to me and would not give any information whatsoever of what they were selling or what getting a gift card entailed. After repeating I wanted to know exactly what they were offering, I gave up and just asked them to spell the name of their company etc. First rep hung up on me after continuing sidestepping direct questions, even after I again repeated that I was the authorized representative and just wanted to know what they were selling and how to "...receive a $25 gift certificate" by merely calling the number. It was an exercise in in futility and a one-way giving of information when I had no way of vetting who they were. And I say again in my opinion it's a scam way to get into your house and sell you one of their water treatment systems.
