UPDATED 5/6/2026 Two years ago, we had the Elite 1620s system installed with the ApaPure12 disinfectant and was over $6,000. We didn't get the ScaleSolver, because it was another $3,000, plus it needs to be replaced every 5 years. Plus, the ApaPure12 disinfectant needs to be replaced every 2 years currently at $950. The system seems to work ok but still has hard water and the system is super expensive. Plus, our representative won't budge on the price at all. When the warranty is up, we will definitely look for a different system at a much lower price to replace this one. read more

My installation appointment window was between 2-3 PM. I received a text, at 1:30, telling me the technicians would arrive in approximately 30 minutes. At 2:00 the techs arrived on time and began working. They were very polite and explained the installation process and what they would be doing. They were very considerate of our property and cleaned up after themselves very well when they completed the installation. $7,300 for "Scale-Forming" Water? Extremely Disappointed. I am beyond frustrated with my experience with LifeSource Water Systems. I invested $7,300 in this system, expecting high-quality, "ideal" drinking water. However, after testing the water with a TDS meter, the result was a shocking 376 ppm. According to the TDS chart provided by the tester, a reading between 300 and 400 means "Scale will form" and is far from the "Ideal Drinking Water" level (under 50 ppm) I was led to expect for such a premium price. It is unacceptable that a system costing over seven thousand dollars produces water that is barely better than standard tap water in terms of mineral hardness. I feel completely misled by the performance claims of this company. If you are looking for pure, low-TDS drinking water, be very careful before spending your hard-earned money here. read more

I purchase a set of two filters for $40 annually. What shocked me today is my neighbor called and told me that her "No Maintenance" system required a filter change from LifeSource at a cost of $1000 and that after five years the system requires other changes at a cost of thousands more. Needless to say she is not happy and is sorry she ever purchased this system.
