This older gentleman came out to look at the van and gave me a hand written quote to fix it, but not much detail. I wasn't sure what to think as the other place had given me a detailed quote, but for $1200 more! The establishment itself is a little run down, but the guy has been doing auto body work for 50 years, so I figured he probably knows what it will cost to repair it without detailing it out. Honestly, my biggest concern was if he could see the paint color and blend it correctly at his age. :) Well, he's got people to help out with that. Anyway, they banged out that dent and smoothed it out and painted the whole side of my van for the quoted amount and not a penny more. He was true to his word that he could do the job and was very confident I wouldn't have any problems with it. Honestly, I was shocked when I saw it. It was perfect. Not a single flaw.
