If you need to stay downtown, this is a nice clean, newly renovated hotel with pretty good soundproofing on the windows. There are a lot of spaces downstairs to chill out, whether on couches about four different rooms? one with the fireplace then the downstairs room also wraps around to the hotel next-door. I believe there is a bar or two I did not use. Walking down the hall, you can hear how sort of quiet it is soundproofed from the street. However, after a while, you realize there are these motorcycles that are really deep, sounding kind of diagonally from the corner, leaving late at night, it's a bar. There's some sort of bar with these motorcycles' sound that break through the walls and windows of the hotel that totally interrupts your sleep. But the beds are comfortable. The pillows are long and awkward, fold them? Stack them?, one night I actually moved to the couch, which was firm and more comfortable to use the pillow. The only real drawback was the modern sink area where there was nowhere to hang a damp washcloth or put your things. It was a weird cut out around the mirror which worked as a space divider with the room. The toilet doesn't have a solid door it has a sliding glass door. I know that would annoy some people so I'm just gonna mention it. If you're not too picky, this is actually really a great place. You can walk to everything downtown, CVS/ Walgreens (kinda sketchy people) and a block to the convention center. But if you are a light sleeper, it could be a bummer. If I had time to enjoy the downstairs more, I think I would've liked it and the little bit of time I did have it was great that they had the baseball games on even though I had to be on the phone, I could watch the scoring happen. Room serve was good too! Going with 4 stars over 3 as the lady late night, when i forgot toiletries, sorted me out kindly.

Location: 5* Price: 4* Amenities: 4* Ambience: 5* I stayed here for. Conference at the convention center. Great location within very easy walking distance of the Colorado Convention Center. The building is half Le Meridian and half AC hotel. A little weird but it worked well. Both had a small lobby with fireplace and the AC had a bar and lounge. It was swanky and nice. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was ample and very well appointed. Please see my review on their rooftop bar, 54thirty. A must see.

They have some nice decor, but that's the only good thing about this hotel. I booked their most expensive room, the one with the "premium King view". I got a room with what is probably the worst view in the hotel (see photo). They said their safe was laptop-compatible, but it wasn't. My average size (15") laptop did not fit. Housekeeping never cleaned my room. There were some problems at the front desk--their computer system was down during check-in and check-out, so it took longer than normal.

This bar shares the rooftop (and maybe with the lobby?) With le meridian but the weekend I stayed the AC was way more affordable than the meridian and still had great marriott service (which i always appreciate) and my room was on the top floor right down the hall from the awesome rooftop- score. It was super hot the weekend I stayed but I did venture up to the roof for a bit. I was able to get a table in the afternoon and prices weren't that bad ( I think a drink was $9) This place is conveniently located right off the 16th street mall, and while there are busses going to union station, i was able to walk there pretty easily instead of waiting for the bus. There was also bar in the lobby and (I believe) a restaurant. The room was clean, quiet, nicely appointed and had a giant TV with Netflix, etc. Denver doesn't have a huge skyline but I had a pretty nice view. I would definitely stay here again

Clean, consistent, and a good Marriott property overall. What brought down my rating was the $45 parking fee. Fees annoy me work it into the price upfront when I book. The other thing my wife and I didn't like was that there isn't a separation between the bathroom and the bedroom. A king room is small and the only thing that separates the two is a mirror you can see around on both sides. We're not a big fan of sharing our bathroom time. I'd recommend at least closing the space around the mirror so the light doesn't shine when the other person is trying to sleep. Great for one person. We probably won't stay here again though.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. I loved it, except for the construction that was happening on the street below (lots of road works right around the hotel at the time that I visited). Anyway, hubby made a complaint to the front desk and they moved us to a higher floor, which subsequently also had a better view! All in all, we could not hear the late night construction nor the downtown street traffic noise as much...but keep that in mind when booking (its noisy) Rooms and small, but efficient. And the bed was comfortable. There is reduced house keeping and other hotel services for now, but just call the front desk for any immediate needs and they are great at responding. All very courteous which adds to having a great stay!

What a cool place to stay in downtown Denver. Stayed at the AC two nights for work and when you're a road warrior, nice accommodations make all the difference in the world. The AC is in a great location downtown and within walking distance or a very short Lyft on cold nights to virtually everywhere. Valet is quite expensive at $51/night, so I recommend self parking if staying on your own dime. The rooms are very modern and extremely nice, as you would expect from an AC, with great views of the city on higher floors. Nice bathroom, great showers. I got a few compliments on my "cologne" (aka, AC lotion... STEAL THEM ALL!!) The hotel also has a great restaurant, Corinne, where I had a few meals during my stay. Great quality, and reasonable prices, though I do recommend actually going to the restaurant and not using room service. After fees and tip, your bill will be more than double the menu price. In addition to the great bar in Corinne, there's also a great lobby bar with a beautiful pool table. I had so much fun on that pool table that I forgot my license behind the front desk when I went to bed (must leave ID for pool balls), and didn't realize until I was ready to make my way through TSA the next morning at the Denver airport. An hour of terror and a $140 round trip cab ride later, and I completed my own lame version of the Hangover. All well worth the experience. Great hotel!

Very clean and modern. Great location, one block from 16th street walking district with tons of bars and restaurants. Plus shopping. We really like it. Only downside is $49 a day for valet parking. Ouch. At least no resort fee as far as I know. I'll find out upon check out and will post a tip if there is. Overall hotel is quiet and upscale.

How far is this hotel from the airport and is there shuttle service available?

    Is the AC kid friendly?

It's more of a hip scene... think the W, but cheaper. I'd look elsewhere.

Is there a fee for a small fridge for medication?

I think there was a fridge in my room. You could always call. Usually if you tell them is for medical reasons places do not charge.

Are there Fridges or microwaves in the rooms? Or atleast a microwave in the lobby or something?

We have refrigerators available upon request for an additional charge. As for microwaves, we do not have those available.

You can walk over one block to the 16th Street Mall shuttle. It's free and runs the distance of the street. Anywhere else, like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, I'd take an Uber.

    Is this hotel open yet?

The location really can't be beat. You're right in the heart of LoDo. Coors Field is a few blocks from the hotel and Union Station (which connects directly to Denver Airport) is only about a 5 minute walk away. Tons of restaurants, bars, and things to do are all within walking distance, which makes it extremely convenient. When booking, I asked for a high floor, quiet room so I could work. Upon check-in, they honored that request and also upgraded my room from a Journeyman to an Innovator Suite which I greatly appreciated. That upgrade definitely elevated the stay! The Innovator Suite was fantastic. It had two queen beds, two TVs, a full sofa, wet bar, dining table, flexible workspace, and city views overlooking Denver's LoDo District. The bathroom had a large soaking tub, which I had to take advantage off. There's no balcony and while the wet bar includes a small fridge, it's not really functional for anything beyond drinks as there's no space for leftovers or larger items. You also get a token per night to redeem for a free drink at the bar during happy hour, plus free drip coffee in the mornings. Other perks include free churros during social hour, a courtesy car service within a 2 mile radius, and discounts at various shops. There's also a fitness center, although I didn't use it. There were some things missing though: no pool, no spa, housekeeping is by request only, and no breakfast included. Service throughout was excellent. There's 24 hour front desk service and everyone I interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and kind. Overall, a strong stay with great service, a fantastic room upgrade, and an excellent location, even if a few expected amenities were missing for the price. If I had to come back to Denver and the company was covering the bill, I would stay again. The location really can't be beat. If I were coming for a leisure trip with a similar budget, I'd probably look for a hotel with a pool and spa instead. This hotel is best suited for people who want to experience LoDo nightlife, catch a game, or just be right in the middle of everything downtown. The room I was upgraded to was probably much more expensive than what I actually paid, which definitely improved the experience. I'm not sure I would feel the same way if I had stayed in the original room I booked. 4.5 stars rounded down.

Thank goodness my child knew that it was lucky charms and indeed gluten. The internet was spotty, I was working from the premises the entire time and often had to use my own hotspot. The washing machine for guest use requires quarters, which you have to buy from the front desk with cash. Two times the washer broke during use and I had to bag soaking wet clothes to hand over to maintenance to take to be washed. There is only one washer and dryer. Very disappointing for a long length of stay. Also in the age of technology there are several hotels that laundry is managed with an app, allowing me to pay via app and see how much long is left and if the machines are available. There is a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel. There are none on each floor by the elevator. Myself as well as others on our floor would leave a bag of trash outside of our room daily as we don't want our room to smell like the food we ate all day/night. On our first full day here we took it down to look for a trash can and the one outside the front doors where people unload their vehicle was overflowing, we noted this multiple days of our stay. Housekeeping were friendly in the halls, they service rooms once every 3 days. Since I was working in the room and I kept the room clean we used the sign on the door to opt to have them come when we were ready. If I saw them in the halls it was easy to get trash bags, towels and cups. One day we requested service and sat in the lobby working all day and they never came by. Keep in mind it's a refresh, our bed was already made and we keep our room clean, I just wanted a tidy of the bathroom counter, towels etc. I had to reach out to the front desk to ask around 415 for service but it needed to be quick because we were coming back to the room. They were able to oblige and serviced it quickly. The refrigerators are very small and not cold, perhaps an option in some rooms for people with lengthier stays to have a larger refrigerator and freezer options. We couldn't purchase any frozen items for our lengthy stay with only a small fridge. The location is nice, easy to get to anywhere on campus or to the downtown area, performing arts area etc. several Ubers are often in the area for further driving needs. Over all of we came to Denver for a long stay I might consider staying here but would look at options with better amenities for food and wash. For a short stay it would meet my needs.

The ballroom we were in was well lit but not too bright that it hurt your eyes. The table was nicely laid and even with the salad and dessert on it, there was enough space. The servers were polite and helpful. I appreciated that they brought me tea while serving coffee. The option was appreciated since usually I don't get an after dinner beverage if it's not coffee. The food served was delicious. The salad a nice mix of textures and tastes. The short rib tender and flavorful. And the dessert was light without the icing on top. The audio visual system worked well and we could hear the speakers clearly. Many attendees found parking in structures or lots around the hotel. But there is a valet option and charging stations for electric vehicles. I believe you can self park but I'm not sure. I parked in a nearby garage. The women's restroom has a little alcove area with a baby changing table and seating. Clean and well stocked, it was fabulous. A lot of my opinions about a location is based on their restrooms and this one impressed me. I would like to come again to experience more of the hotel.

The services were available but were not actively proffered. On the other hand, their spa was utterly fantastic! The hotel food was lackluster and focused on steak over anything else. They had other types of food, obviously, but steak was in plentiful abundance over anything. The housekeeping staff was amazing and on top of their game. The room quality was very good and spacious; larger than most hotels' suites. The in-room bar and mini-fridge were not free despite being labeled an "honor bar." I'm not cheap; I have no issue paying. My issue is the deceptive marketing of the so-called honor bar. The room's furniture was not cheap, but it did appear tacky with the illusion of being of quality. On the positive side, the staff were polite and attentive, and the room was cleaned while I was out. The view was also very impressive. Overall, with all things considered, I'd pick a different hotel; there are better hotels in the immediate area with a lower price tag and the spa is not worth it, despite its attentive and fantastic service. Score: 3.5/5.0
