HONEST OWNER - MOM and POP Operation This is a mom and pop place, very nice people trying to make a daily living. He gave me the best price for a 2 hour rental. The Jet Ski was not the newest, but it had low hours, and ran flawless. The rental included, gas, life vest, and transportation to the River for launch and recovery. The owner was a very honest person, he was upfront during the pre-rental inspection about places to inspect, he even mentioned about other places inspecting the prop with a flashlight and if they do that, be aware that they will charge you upon returning for prop repair fees. Upon returning, he did a quick inspection, drove us back to the business. I went to two other places, and felt uncomfortable with their high pressure sales tactics, at AC, there were no pressure, cost and rental was upfront. The owner even shared his life story with me. Overall, a very honest person, his daughter was also very helpful with explaining the rental process. My two rental was the cheapest and the best, good guy to deal with, and I would rent from him again! read more

Let me start by saying that this place is legit!! We rented 2 jet skis for 4 hours for 6 people. They have life jackets for no extra charge. The owner and the wife are very nice! For us being 1st timers they explained everything we needed to know how to operate the jet skis and the rules of the river. They also towed it down to the river for you. The jets skis were fairly new. Accelerated pretty fast even with two people on. Everybody had tons of fun! We are already planing the next trip back since we are from Vegas! Tip - We called mostly all other jet ski rental place near the river and this place had the best price!! I've always rented here every time I'm in Laughlin. Few things have changed. We were given a price out the door two weeks before. We were given a price 285 out the door. When we arrived they charged an additional 20 per jetski for some sort of licensing. They also charged a 3.3% fee to swipe your card. I don't like being surprised when we agreed on something prior. First off I researched quite a bit and this was the cheapest place I found only 109 for all day including everything..... I then got to the location the guy I meet was very nice and explained everything since it was my first time..... we then got down to the driver and he reexplained how to use the jet ski and about 5 minutes after I took off I got some sea weed stuck in the jet ski so it wouldn't run he came back very quickly and was very nice about telling me what happened and fixing it also in the process of all that I lost my sandals lol and he lent me his but thx very much will be back soon! read more

One of the Jetski's were slower than the other one but I guess it was a balance of giving you a fast one and a not so fast one. We still had fun. I did leave my gopro in the jetski =( I tried to track it down with the owner and the next family that rented the jetski but it seemed to have "disappeared". Visited Laughlin on Tuesday the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. I had heard that wave runner rental prices were far better on the AZ side (Bullhead City) than on NV (Laughlin) side. I drove up and down Hwy 95 looking for signs boosting the best deals and comparing them against prior Yelp reviews. After a few phone calls, I landed at AC Watercrafts. I initially spoke to them over the phone about overall rates, prices, and launching policies. I found them to be fair and understanding. They charged a little less in price per gallon for gas than some of their competitors, a $15 launching and pick up fee, and one of the lowest prices for an all day rental ($59 all day, on a Tuesday, non-holiday). Clearly the price per day will be significantly different for the upcoming holiday weekend, the unofficial start to summer, but I truly enjoyed the fair, sincere, and straight forward service we received. I would definitely come here again as I try to get my friends to come out as a group next time. Good for Thought: * Wave Runner holds about 15 gallons of gas. * At the pump gas costs about $2.60 per gallon at time of this post, but most rental places were charging between $3.00 - $4.50 per gallon. * A full tank, ran consistently will last about 4 hours, harder driving maybe a little less. * refilling on the river is pretty rare and expensive. So consider looking for a place that is willing to refill you if you run out of gas. read more

$100.00 for a full 8 hours of Jet Ski fun sounds like a great deal, but at AC Watercrafts, it really isn't. This business is just shady and quite frankly, the owner doesn't care. Even when we told him the police were on his way he would not come down to the shop. STAY AWAY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I was out with my extended family with kids from 5-17 years old and we had already decided to go jet skiing in the river and saw this great deal on jet skis so we rented 3 of them. We were told that they had newer model jet skis so we decided to go for it. We had some issues when were paying for the jet skis when they charged us 10% sales tax rather than the 8.75% that Arizona charges and called them out on it and they fixed it. So we rented three of them and go to meet them at the river. When they arrived at the river they were definitely not newer model jet skis and one of them couldn't even go over 32MPH. So...liar liar pants on fire. After a couple hours one of the jet skis broke down, luckily near the shore so we called them to come pick it up and they brought us a new one. When they brought it to us the first thing we noticed was a 3-inch gash across the front of the jet ski and we told the man who was delivering it to us and he said that he would not charge us for it. So fine. After another couple of hours the boys took them out about 10 minutes down the river and we find out from one of the cousins that they're stranded because their engine died and we need to tow them, and quickly, because they are just floating down the river pretty quickly. Luckily a good samaritan was nearby and helped us tow him back. We call them to pick it up and they bring us yet another jet ski. Another couple hours later, another jet ski's engine dies and we have to go and tow them back again. At this point we're just tired of playing musical jet skis and have them pick them all up and go to settle the bill and this is where it gets so messy that a letter to the Attorney General has been written and a incident report has been filed with the Bullhead City police. One of the kids lost the key thing for the jet ski when the jet ski flipped over so they charged us for that as well as a missing handle grip (that was missing before but we didn't mention it). Fair enough. That came out to be maybe...30 dollars. They proceeded to charge us for that three-inch gash that they said they weren't going to charge us for and gave us a written receipt for $231.00. But when they charged the credit card, they charged us for $321.00 and said it was taxes and stuff and no matter which way you look at it, doesn't add up as well as some 90 dollars in gas. When we asked the guy in the store for his name since he conducted the assessment he wouldn't give us his name and told us to take down the business name. I tried to reason with him and told him that if his manager asks me who conducted the assessment of the damages, I need to know who did it but the guy would not give it up and he was being a complete douche. So we called the police and he was forced to give up his name for the incident report. These guys are just trying to scam you and extort money from you. Should this escalate further, I'll be sure the update. But small claims court is looking mighty fine. read more

Rented 2 jet skis early this afternoon, had a complete blast. The owner and his wife were so friendly, met them a week ago to reserve our water crafts for today. Put a deposit for each jet ski and got it right back in the end with no problem but also took very good care of the jet ski. They hauled out the jet ski and took them right out on the water. Jet skis had no problems whatsoever, ran just like new. Paid 88$ for each and it was all day, when we were ready to leave they were there within 10 minutes to pick them up. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back with more family. Side note: we came Tuesday 6/16 to visit all the jet ski rental places to see prices and how it works cause we were first timers. Went home read reviews on all the places and this one caught our eye.
