The first mini split condenser was fried and had signs of a leak. It was over 10 years old. He called Conor, a supervisor, to talk to us about a new unit. We thought given how busy everyone is that it would be weeks before we could get the split replaced. Conor was able to get to our house in about 30 minutes. Sage serviced the second split while Conor was in route. When Conor arrived he went through the options. We needed something soon with the heat we are experiencing. They carry Mitsubishi mini splits. They had a slot for Tuesday 7/21. We had done our research, so we were comfortable acting quickly. Both Conor and Sage listened to our concerns and made us feel like we were in good hands. For the day of installation Jorge and Aaron showed up on time. They were able to remove the old split and install the new one by midafternoon. Very efficient and respectful. They checked the system out, asked if we had any question or concerns. We have a 115-year-old home, and they were careful in our old home. Our experience with Bob Jensen Heating and Air was outstanding, and I do not say that lightly. Sage, Conor, Jorge and Aaron were great. Concerns with my gas heater led me to decide to replace all. Michael came out to speck a new system. He did a thorough walk through and we reviewed options. I never felt pressured. BTW, this was not through Home Depot. I settled on a Daikin heat pump & return air. The following week Moises and Gilbert showed up to install. In one day they removed my old units and installed new system. It worked great when they left but 45 minutes later an error displayed on my new thermostat. Moises and Gilbert returned the next day and did some troubleshooting. Thought they had found the problem and left with the unit running. Ten minutes after they left it errored out again. Came back a third time and meticulously traced all lines outside, in the attic and under my house. Apparently the drain pipes in my almost 60 year old home were no longer at an adequate angle to properly expell the excess water. I thought I was going to have to engage a plumber. But Moises and Gilbert cleverly solved the problem by installing a small pump on the unit. They did not charge me for this and it was well after 6:00 pm when they left. If not for their tenacity and creativity I'm not sure where I would be. It's well over a week and my system is running great! I'm very happy with my new unit and very, very happy with all the tech's involved, especially Moises and Gilbert!

So glad I saw Surf Bros HVAC in the neighborhood and gave it another shot. Red actually diagnosed the issue on our unit, returned with the correct part on the same day, topped off our refrigerant, and helped me sort out the new controller I installed for way less than a thousand dollars. The price was also very competitive with the other options. We did have a delay in starting as they had a mix-up on install dates and had to postpone one day. However, George called and apologized and offered a discount for the mistake and to charge our current system to help keep the house cool until they came out the next day, which I think reflects how he runs a customer focused business. When he did come out that day I had more questions about the setup and based on our discussion we changed the coil for more flexibility in moving the unit in the attic one day. It was pretty clear that George runs a solid business; he double checked they left no trash after leaving, his workers made sure to set up mats everywhere they worked inside, they let us know when they would be using louder tools (as we have a baby), and they stayed until the unit was fully installed which meant they stayed pretty late. I couldn't recommend them enough. George is really easy to work with, does a great job on the customer side and also steps in to do the work himself which is all reflected in the impressive reviews he has.
