I got the car back in September, first of all, they said everything with the car was fine. The Bluetooth screen in the car did not work, had to replace for 900$ along with a blown speaker. Second there was a leak in the car due to a sun roof drainage clog, leading to a $1500 repair. Along with this they told us the brake pads were fine but they needed to be replaced about a month after buying due to the fact how little of the break pad was left! Along with this the check engine light turned on and turns out the catalytic converter was also broken!!! Which is another $ 2000 fix! Lastly the car died and the battery would not stay charged. A new starter and alternator are needed and will cost $1500! Do not come to this dealership!!!!!! They will talk you into thinking you're getting a good deal when the car is realistically in horrible condition!! Save your money and time!! read more

Do not believe the 5 star reviews. They are fake. I bought I bought a 2010 Mazda 3 in October. The same exact car I previously had. I told this dealer that I would need it for work. I test drove the car but the dealer would only let me drive for 1 minute down a residential block. I was not informed of any fuel or transmission issues. I asked the right questions and was either lied to or misinformed. The first time I filled the car with gas, the transmission would not turn over. I pressed the accelerator when turning on the ignition and then the car turned over. I have been needing to do this every time I get gas. Meanwhile, the car has shut off on the road twice. The check engine turned on immediatly after I drove it off the lot. I brought it back and the dealer brought it to mechanic next door to fix it. The check engine light turned off but then turned back on. I had been trying to negotiate a time to bring the car back for repairs but the dealer was unavailable. I use the car for work so I have put a lot of miles on it and he was aware of that. I told him 2 weeks in advance that I would be purchasing the car. I even put down an extra $100 so he wouldn't sell it to anyone else. That was a perfect time for him to do any last repairs. I kept trying to contact the dealer to find a time to bring it back. But now, only in January was he able to look at it and bring it to "his mechanic" in Ozone Park (40 minutes away -he did not disclose the name of the mechanic). He sent me a bill for $900 to replace the fuel pump from another local mechanic (Merrick Automotive). He offered to sell me a rental car for $50 a day. When I told him he needed to contact the warranty company to give them the information for the repair to be covered, he refused, yelled at me and hung up on me. I kept asking for a copy of my contract and the warranty information and he refused to give it to me. Thankfully, the warranty does cover the repair, but I'm concerned this man is a scam artist. I don't think the car legally passed inspection. Meanwhile, the speakers are staticky, and the passenger side window doesn't work. He took the car to be washed right before I took it and was made aware of the window problem yet did not fix it. read more

Since then, I've realized although public transportation in New York is great - it's not always the most reliable. He replaced the brake pads, rotors and calipers and had the car inspected before I bought it at no charge to me. He took care of the registration paperwork the same day. Make sure you have him on recordings when he promises to fix anything because as soon as you go back to him with the same issue he will lie and tell you that he doesn't recall what you're talking about. He sold me a vehicle which had a damaged bumper and when I tried to return it the day after he said they had just put on a new bumper when clearly it was already damaged and wasnt new. I don't know who Shawn is but it sounds like your regular ordinary salesman, sounds like he'll tell you anything just to make a few dollars ( Aka a dirtbag ) Anyway if you or anyone you know are looking to purchase a car from ACA , I would definitely have a mechanic look it over for you.. You really can't find every little thing wrong with the cars but you can bet they're not 100% , they are NOT certified cars. So I ended up buying a car from Winston, he seems like a nice guy but again , always have a mechanic check it out. It was a pretty chilly day in late October,November, and I take it for a test drive, after driving for 15-20 minutes I pull into the yard and I asked the salesman John hows the AC ? He says it's fine but if it's not coming out cold is because it's cool outside, All's it needs is a shot a Freon, WRONG ! The AC was broken, needed a complete AC compression system and he tried getting away with , I didn't like the fact that he lied to me and knew this AC systems as broken, So $900.00 later I got it fixed in May and they gave me 1/2 of the cost as if they were doing me a favor, Anyway if you're buying a used car in the fall or winter , ALWAYS CHECK THE AC ! ! read more

I had bought my car that I've been eyeing for a while now and he took the opportunity and took advantage of me and pushed me to buy it as soon as he saw the smile on my face when I saw the car I didn't even have a second to thoroughly thinking before he was aggressive for my information to finance the car but I was trying to be patient and learn more about the car but he wouldn't let me take a closer look at the car it was until 4 months later the car broke down and he told me before I left the lot if you need anything I'm your guy so I asked him for helped when the engine seized on me and he said he couldn't help at all because I didn't get the extended warranty and the rudeness and attitude over the phone was astounding. He kept saying there was nothing I could do to try get back at him over and over again and all he could do was have his "guy" take a look at the car and try fix it but his "guy" was a clueless mechanic who obviously didn't know anything about my car and on top of that he said all can do is get you parts for a discount meaning I would be paying for everything myself. Yes it's on me for being naive but the nerve for him to take advantage of me and I'm a salesman myself so I understand you need to make you're money but there a fine line between selling a car and forcing someone to buy it because they like it. Horrible experience that pisses me off every single day to this day because I'm left paying off a hunk of metal that doesn't even work.just overall horrible experience and will forever bash on this dealership because of the pure screwing me over that went on at this super shady dealership. So too who ever decides to go to this place please look at the other reviews, and just know that the one star reviews probably all true. Lets start off with my experience here and I wasn't even getting the car, so my boyfriend likes a car in the lot a Subaru. The guy there which im pretty sure is the owner wouldn't let him even test drive the car (for a good reason). But my boyfriend still wanted the car and so they decided on a day to come pick it up and officially buy the car. So we go on a Sunday to pick up the car real early, but there seems to be some faults in what he is telling me about the interest rate and the loan payment which are not adding up and he is basically telling my boyfriend that I should back to school to education my self when it doesn't take much to calculate a loan payment for a car at least. So we are there basically going back and fourth about this until noon. The man pops up with that he need 1200 in cash and if we pay card its a 4% charge... which I've never heard at any dealership. So after all this paperwork is done and all boyfriend finally gets his car. NOT EVEN 12 hours later have passed and CAR HAD THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT TURN ON, told the guy said to come back ,they litter-ally just cleared the code and gave it back to my boyfriend . Next after that light turns on, go back and guy just blows air into the Cam shaft censors and cleared it and that is all. Next day after that car goes into fail safe mode and basically car wouldn't run, bring it back to dealership and clear code again. At this point a good dealership would do something about it and try and give another car in their lot, did not happen here. BUT 2 weeks after my boyfriend bought the car he brought it too the Subaru dealership and basically they explained to him that gas is leaking and oil is leaking from the motor of the car.... Went back to dealership and basically said " well you can't sue me due to lemons law" "you needed to get the longer warranty " "i drove that car and it had no issues so it was probably you who damaged the car". MEANWHILE HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE CAR FOR A MONTH. Please let my boyfriend be the last person he does that too. Very sketchy place!!!!!! read more

I had a pleasant experience with the owner and his nephew. He stayed open for me as I wanted to see one of the cars he had just received for purchase. When I arrived both the owner and his nephew were accommodating in allowing me to inspect the car and they even moved all the cars out of the way so we could take a test drive. When negotiating the purchase price, I was very direct and they were accommodating. We agreed relatively quickly and I was happy to be able to take ownership of the car. They did everything for me in prepping and registering the car. Hopefully, I'll never need another car. However, if I do, I will go to them first. read more
