It was a Friday night and we got there at 10pm and although it wasn't full of people, we absolutely LOVED it! The VIP table was spacious and we had a stripper pole to dance with and it was super fun! We got Tito's vodka and it came with 3 mixers of our choice and Redbull. The servers were fun and attentive and made excellent drinks. The cost was about $350 and totally worth it! The DJ played a good mix and since our group age ranged between 24 to 54, everyone had fun and liked the mix. I look forward to returning and bringing more friends

I will take my service somewhere else where it is appreciated, and will never spend my money here ever again. security is disrespectful and rude. didn't let it ruin my perfectly fun night though as I attended an excellent club not too far away.

At the end of the night, while I was clearly distressed searching for it, a gentleman introduced himself as the janitor and kindly offered to help by arranging an Uber for us to get home safely. Thankfully, my phone was found by the time the ride arrived, but his kindness and willingness to help left a lasting impression on me. If anyone knows who this kind person is, I would truly appreciate the chance to personally thank him. His thoughtful gesture spoke volumes about the care your staff shows toward your patrons. I'm lucky to be alive as he described me laying on my back unconscious vomitting for hours if he had not been able to turn me repeatedly I probably would not be alive to write this . Took over 4 days to recover And preemptively, please don't victim shame and blame. We are 50 years old. Have a lot of experience with alcohol and very well. Know the difference between over indulgence and being drugged. We were both drugged once before in our lives. Owner Please review the footage at the time of shift change when Cedric was getting off shift. It's obviously too late to help us, but if we could prevent this from happening to anyone else there. Please spread the word. This is a big problem in bars. It's come to having a drink test kits or staying at home to have some drinks. Unfortunately, there are some evil people out there. Please help people if you see someone like this don't assume they have had too much they may need to get to a hospital . . Also, owner stated bartender, said we left we were walking steadily that we looked fine when we left when actually I was a zombie with no recollection of leaving. This is the hallmark of being roofied. if I was" blackout drunk", which I would've had to have been to not recall anything after 30 min in your bar or leaving or 8 hours to follow. I would not have been "walking steadily" as you stated. Unfortunately, denying this actually happened or staying quiet is not the way to try to fix this problem. It is very widespread.. in California some years back they passed a law that bars must post signs to raise awareness of being roofied and offer drink spike test kits at cost as a bar owner please do all you can to ensure what is within your control this does not happen again in your bar educate yourself and staff what to look for and what to do ALSo ... since you just announced publicly you have a poor video monitoring system and apologized you could provide me any info ... that is more for an owner who has a lot more to lose if his staff or patrons are drugging patrons YOU stand to lose a lot more if there is a bad outcome ( ie death by choking ala Elvis style) . Food for thought . All this aside I think the in between is a super karaoke cool bar at least what I remember .

I'm not a write 1 negative review and never come back to Yelp- I do have over 500 reviews as of writing this- so I would appreciate not having negative comments coming back to me as this is only my humble opinion both as a reviewer and a aficionado of great music. I like the space, it is unique in that it is so small. That isn't negative- it lets the audience be right there with the band and the band can clearly see the reactions of faces of fans and hopeful fans. This is a real confidence raiser for those on open mic night to be able to see a crowd enjoy their music. Did I mention it is small? Even as small as it is- there is a large bar facing the bandstand. In a way - it is hard for fans to get used to, There are 2 large eye focuses. The bar or the bandstand. I don't know why there are two focal points- is it to keep people for going in and out during a concert? There are other smaller mobile bars that they have in other areas -like Crossroads. But it is a large bar compared to the stage. Do be aware though of what kind of band you are paying for in advance. It can be disappointing if you pay what I would consider full price for a show and it is less than you expected. Google/ Facebook/ Amazon the band and then you should have a better idea of the bands quality- because they are playing in a realllllllly small venue. If you don't want to pay for a small venue show -then wait. I have been to about 50 different music venues in Austria and Germany and seen many different types of shows- from classical to modern music, and the venue really does influence your experience. Depending on the band- I like having a small small venue to hear them- it is not a coffeehouse feel where there is a phsishhhshshsh sound every 2 minutes so the sound quality is better than coffee houses - but has the feel of a coffee house where you can drink. I think the Safehouse/ Republik is a better venue - comparing Honolulu venues to Honolulu venues. My advice is still to know what band it is you are going to see and enjoy the band you are going to see- regardless of the venue because supporting local artists is a wonderful way of promoting local music.

The Studio is a small bar located as the first door on your right once you enter Hawaiian Brians. You don't need to go passed security checking your ID so it's definitely good for those who aren't legal. Did I mention it's really small? I was here for an EP Release party, another band and an independent musician and his friend opened up for them that night. This was a great example of the talent Hawaii has to offer. If you really like to be in an intimate settings where you can be as close to the band as possible without possibly hurting your ear drums this is the place. The space is very chill, people come and sit at the tables, grab a drink at the bar, stand. It probably won't be as intimate if your friend's band is extremely popular. If that were the case you should tell your friends to consider the Crossroads which is the larger venue in Hawaiian Brians. If you don't like live music, or people, or need your space at all times, I don't think these places are for you. If you're into live music, like people and have the opportunity to catch a conversation with the people making music you like than definitely stop by. There's always these kinds of events happening at the Studio and at Hawaiian Brian. I suggest you check out if you want to get into the Hawaii music scene, this place is a start.
