Great coffee and amazing selection of fresh baked goods perfect for breakfast or brunch. I love their unique drink creations from coffee to matcha and fruit teas. The service is quick even though they're always packed. The staff is friendly. The drinks are on the sweet side but they're amazing. Definitely gives Starbucks a run for their money. I tried the limited time Lucky Charms latte and Fruity Pebbles latte. Both with oat milk and cold foam added. It's on the pricey side coming in around $10 per drink but both are unique and true to their name on the taste. There's real cereal topping and it's like drinking the cereal milk at the bottom of your bowl. Also tried their bacon scallion bagel bomb and it was delicious! Rich creamy center topped with crunchy bacon and scallions. Came out nicely toasted and warm. The cheddar chive scone was thick, flakey, butter and also amazing. Lovely inviting "natural" environment. Lots of greenery hanging and distributed throughout the shop. Although known for its coffee creations, we had also heard their empanadas were delicious. They did not disappoint. We tried a spinach empanada and a beef empanada. Although I am not usually a fan of beef empanadas, this one was exceptional. The meat had a lovely sweet taste. The crust was light and flaky. For drinks, we ordered from the February menu. Chocolate Covered Banana Latte and Red Velvet Latte. The Red Velvet Latte had a pleasing chocolate taste. Not too rich and overpowering. The Banana Latte tasted very banana-ery (lol). Didn't taste much chocolate. Still flavorful. There was a line to place our order when we got there but our food and drinks were ready in maybe 5 minutes or less. read more

I make it to Florida several times a year. Each trip, I make sure to include a stop over in Boca, even if it's just for a night, but with the sole purpose of making sure I can make a stop or two to The Seed. This is easily one of my top coffee/matcha spots in the entire country. (18-year Elite here... I don't throw that praise around lightly!) I first discovered The Seed last August at their Delray Beach location, thanks to one of their seasonal matcha specials--pretty sure it was a piña colada matcha. I've been hooked ever since. So on this latest trip, I made sure to stay close to the original Boca location... and within minutes of arriving, I headed straight there for a strawberry matcha. I melted. I may have even peed a little. No regrets. The next morning, after a particularly heavy meal the night before, I switched gears and asked for something coffee-based. I met Cassie (spelling?) at the counter, and she recommended some sort of clearing concoction that includes 4 shots of espresso (I asked for just 3 because I want to live a few years longer)- you know, like the stuff that the street cars use in "Fast & Furious" for that extra kick. It was delish. More importantly, it worked. Very well. I even added a photo documenting my victorious pow-pow-ka-chunk journey to PBI airport bathroom. Love this place. Visiting Boca Raton and now wish I lived here so that I could come here daily! Not only are the coffee drinks on point, the fresh juice and dragon fruit bowl was the best I've had! Great coffee and juice shop! They have a nice sized menu of options, along with seasonal drinks. I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk and it was incredible! The chocolate was milky and smooth, mixed completely so there weren't chunks of chocolate mix, and the whipped cream on top tasted homemade. I also ordered a spinach and cheese empanada which was good. It wasn't filled as much as I expected or would have liked, but the flavor was nice and it was a bigger size. They also heated it up, making it toasted and crispy on the outside, with a melty warm inside. Biggest negative was the price being high. Just the one empanada was almost $6. While the hot chocolate quality was worth the price, I would skip the pastries if you're looking for something filling. read more

Quality matcha latte! This is my go to coffee spot when I'm in Boca. I get a 20oz iced unsweetened matcha with oatmilk and I had sugar free vanilla for $9.26 and it's perfect every time. They make a good oatmilk chai latte too. I've also had their cold pressed juice- get the Juicy! They have homemade pastries some gluten free, some vegan, savory and sweet. You can even preorder to avoid the line which there often is. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating, WiFi, chill music- it's a vibe. The staff is very nice, quick, efficient. The Seed remains one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. I come here probably weekly for a latte, sometimes more, and they always deliver. The service is good, the vibes are perfect for working, catching up with friends, or having a read. A fan favorite is the cinnabee latte but I love the seasonal drinks so much too. My partner goes for a nitro cold brew or double shot of espresso and is never disappointed. read more

I read a few reviews about this place and heard about the strawberries and cream matcha, so I decided to try this place out. The place itself has a really nice vibe, the decor has a lot of wood and greenery. I ordered the strawberries and cream matcha, half sweet and a caramel latte. Both drinks were amazing. My only issue was the customer service, the barista who took our order was dismissive and almost like he didn't want to take our order. Decided to stop in for a mid-day pick me up. The staff were friendly and the line moved pretty quick. I ordered the cinnamon toast crunch iced coffee and the scallion bagel bomb. The coffee was just ok didn't really have much cinnamon toast crunch flavor, if it didn't have the couple pieces of cinnamon toast crunch on top I wouldn't have known that was the flavor. The scallion bagel bomb had good flavor but is definitely not anything like a bagel. It's more like a croissant or puff pastry. Not entirely sure why it's called a bagel bomb but it was good. The parking situation was a nightmare. I had to circle around a couple times and wait for someone to leave to get a spot. I'll definitely be back to try one of their matchas to see if they're as good as they look. Overall this place is okay and definitely overpriced. read more

This place is one of a kind. Well, 7 of a kind I've only been to this location out of the 7 locations available. So far it has been nothing but a delight. I really love the strawberries and cream matcha. Kind of disappointed that my girlfriend keeps taking it away because it is that delicious! I also tried the coconut banana loaf and it was so delicious too. The service was amazing, I was getting a lot of good vibes from every staff member. I'd suggest visiting the Boynton location instead. This particular one isn't up to par compared to the others. If you have allergies, it's best to avoid coming here. The staff is noticeably different from Boynton's. Despite ordering the Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk numerous times, I've had to stop due to consistent mistakes, like missing vanilla or using regular milk instead of oat. Even though I paid extra money for both the vanilla and oat. The male staff member made it very clear that it "depends on the level of lactose" and that they do have dairy here. He said he wouldn't recommend ordering this latte. It's literally a Vanilla Iced Latte with OAT Milk. What else should I get? It's frustratingly inconsistent. I only came today out of convenience, but I won't be returning. For those with allergies, it's safer to go elsewhere to avoid cross-contamination. Additionally, if you do order here, be sure to double-check your order, as they have an unwritten policy requiring you to return within 30 days to claim any mistakes, or you'll lose out. Meaning if you're traveling or from out of town and they tell you to come back, they really mean within 30 days. If I wasn't traumatized from being on the toilet for hours by my last Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat from this location (they gave me regular latte with regular milk) my brain and body probably would have let me come back sooner but apparently it didn't. read more
