They painted all trim (not just updated sills) to ensure matching exterior. There was a hitch with the electrical work, but they were patient and worked with us to determine an acceptable solution. At first, I decided to renovated only one bathroom, but ended up: renovating 2 bathrooms, one of which required major changes; a laundry room requiring different configuration than the original one, finishing the basement living room, opening a big part of inaccessible basement. plus fixing several other things: lights, changing the cooktop into an induction one, insulating the office and attic, etc. I have done many other jobs with other contractors. What stands apart with this owner are: punctuality, attention to detail, attention to what one wants and also what is technically possible, cleanliness. In particular, the tile work looks impeccable, closer to what is done in Europe. I appreciated that the walls were redone to be straight, and before starting the work everything was covered, to protect spreading the dust and dirt. I had in the past workers that even when asked did not bother to vacuum under wood to be installed or tiles that were installed since "it won't be seen", this was not the case with this company. I had very clear design ideas and I knew what I wanted, but I am very happy that several times the owner of the company came with better solutions and esthetics, few times convincing me to change some of the products for others - cannot be happier about the changes we made per the suggestion. I started working with them the week when the pandemic started in March, and they were very good at wearing masks, washing hands frequently, being considered to others concerns. I dislike when others mention how nice a person is a contractor, etc, and this is one of the very few times that this should be highlighted - the owner has a very light and easy going personality making it much easier to work with him, and I am a perfectionist and could occasionally upset workers with some remarks about how straight should be a line, and being a little bit of a control freak at the beginning I worked side by side with the workers for the first few weeks - it was rewording for me, even if later had to work nights for my primary job.
