My Wife and I have been to this location 4 times and it's been a quality meal with quality service every time The chips and salsa are good. The salsa itself isn't spicy, and I never mind that as my Wife doesn't like spice at all and I can always add some heat. I've had the tacos and they were slightly above average. The chicken and steak fajitas is what keeps bringing us back. They give pretty sizable portions and the meat is seasoned well. I also think that the protein has been cooked a bit more than most places I've been to and I'm always a fan of some char. I think the food is very good, but the service is what really pushes this place to 5 stars for me. The staff have been exceptionally friendly and attentive on each visit and I rarely have needed to wait long for drink refills. My Wife and I both enjoy drives, but we like this place enough to drive from Pittsburgh. It's worth the drive for us. read more

I wish I could give this restaurant six stars! It is an hour from our house, but I promise I would drive to Moundsville, WV just to eat here again! I stopped in for lunch, and as much as I wanted to order the all you can eat buffet I couldn't NOT get the vegetarian chimichanga. They had a great vegetarian selection, and when I tell you that it was the best Mexican food I've ever had, it really was. Everything from the freezing cold Dos Equis, to the fresh salsa, and my out of this world chimichanga made my trip here very memorable. A mound of food for one person! Tastes like my mom cooked it. I had steak fajitas and it was so much food for the price. Fajitas are NOT on the all you can eat special. But hold on to your tacos. If you are really hungry, they have an all you can eat special Monday through Saturday that will fill you up for a couple days. The food was fresh. Hubby is craving for Mexican and this seem to be the only place in town (we are 2 weeks new to Moundsville). Restaurant is half full on 5:00pm on a Thursday evening so I take it as a good sign. The service is fast and friendly, our waiter is really nice and made us feel like he has known us forever. The free chip is one of the better ones in all Mexican restaurants we have been to in various part of the country. It's thick and has a flavor on its own without the salsa or queso dip. I had the 4 tacos and it really fills me up. The pollo asado is a bit on the dry side but the other 3 are delicious. I live in California and have traveled to Mexico numerous times, love Mexican food, and speak Spanish, so, yeah, definitely know a thing or two about it. I'm not going to tell anyone that this compares in any way to the food our Mexican brothers and sisters make south of the border or even in California, where restaurants are already not as good as those in Mexico. But really, it's a beautiful thing that this exists. I ordered the arroz con pollo (rice with chicken). It was fine. Not great, but good. But that it's all the way here in little ol' Moundsville IS great. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I was bummed that they didn't have any horchata (they spell it "orchata" on the menu, but same thing) and didn't have any aguas frescas of any kind. But if you're from California or Mexico and you love Jarritos, they do have those. So if you are hungering for Mexican food - and really, who doesn't? - stop in. read more

We ran in on a Tuesday night and were pleasantly surprised by the Taco Tuesday options. We tried the margaritas- frozen and on the rocks. Very good. Fish, shrimp, chicken, steak and beef tacos. CONS: I didnt recieve tortillas for the fajitas. I ordered mixed chicken and beef fajitas and hardly any meat mixed with the pepper and onions. The rice and bean side portions were ridiculously small, there was absolutely NO cheese on my beef quesadilla, barely any meat, and filled mostly with peppers and onions. On the 3 children's quesadillas also barely (and I'm using barely, generously here) any cheese. It was basically a warm tortilla with a few slivers of cheese that was melted away into nonexistence.
