Very professional, very courteous and never a push to upsell while still rightly recommending a service agreement to help save money in the future. You really can't go wrong with these guys and their training is obviously second to none. I'd recommend Doc Savage for any HVAC work, large or small. Don't take chances with your hard earned dollars! Use the best!

"It is under warranty, but my manager still insisted I charge you something." - Doc Savage…read moreTechnician Had Doc Savage replace my AC unit a short while ago, which included replacing my thermostat with a Doc Savage-branded unit. Recently the thermostat started turning off automatically, most likely due to low batteries. Due to the way that they installed it, I was unable to get the battery compartment open and was forced to call them to come out and service it. It cost $99 dollars for them to come out, which is annoying but typical, and I was assured on the phone that should be my only expense since all of my equipment is still under warranty. The technician came by this morning, and after examining the equipment he said he thought it was a low battery issue. He then told me that he could see that when they installed the thermostat, they also installed a power line that would eliminate the need to deal with batteries at all, they just never hooked it up (and remember, this is all Doc Savage purchased and installed equipment - the "they" is Doc Savage). NOBODY even told me that was an option when they installed it, or asked me what I would prefer. The technician finished his work and told me it would be $99 for the visit, which I knew, and then $74 for actually fixing the issue. I told him that his office told me over the phone yesterday that all my equipment is still under warranty, to which he replied that he would need to call in and check. He went outside and placed his call, and returned with the line that I opened this review with: "It is under warranty, but my manager still insisted I charge you something." WHAT. THE. F***. He said in an attempt to "meet me halfway", they would bring the extra charge down from $74 to $9. I don't like to take out my frustrations with a company on their rank and file, so I just bit the bullet and paid the extra $9 (for a total of $108), and I hope Doc Savage enjoys it, because it is the last money they will EVER see from me. This entire experience should and could have been avoided in the first place if they had installed the unit properly, and/or asked my preference as to whether I wanted battery or hardwired power, and then to essentially steal from me by admitting that they shouldn't be charging me at all, but the manager insisted??! Yeah I'm done with this company, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid them as well. The technicians are nice, personable people, but there's something deeply wrong with the management.

BEWARE! These people are not professional and think they aren't capable of making a mistake. Chris…read morecame to my house last week to clean my carpet and couch. He was very nice as I was to him as well. I was so excited and grateful to get my carpet cleaned by a professional. They said the job would take approx 3 hours to do. It took him 2 hours to clean a full couch and 3 rooms. He was in a hurry to leave my house after dark to get to a call backs house. He told me it would dry in 1.5 days. On the 4th day my son and I put white socks on to walk on the carpet and it turned our socks dark brown and wet. I said this carpet is not clean. In my bedroom the carpet feels weird. It feels very chalky. I looked it up. Chalkiness after cleaning means there's too much cleaning solution still on the carpet that will eat the fibers and ruin your carpet. I took pictures and called the office saying there are still some stains left and the carpet is chalky, not including the paint stain he said he couldn't get rid of, other stains I believe we're not sprayed. She said I'm not trying to brush you off but the manger is in a meeting he will call you back. Great. I turned my phone off silent and answered every spam call (approx 40 a day) in hopes it was him. NOTHING. I called later in the day, the manager had gone home for the day. I called the next day, the admin said I'm sorry the manger is in a meeting he will call you back in 30 mins. PERFECT! . Waiting for his call he NEVER called. As the day goes by still answering every spam call while I'm at work, I'm getting several text messages from the admin saying sorry for your frustration call the office to solve your issue urgently. But I would call the office and she wouldn't answer the phone. It becomes night time and still no call from the manger. The admin text me a picture of the paint in my carpet that I know won't come out and says "the manager is aware of your frustration and your issue but some carpet is beyond repair. " I said OK so he is ignoring me and refusing to give me a call and what about the chalkiness? She said he will call you tomorrow. I said okay I will believe it when I see it. She said "OK he won't call" WOW. how unprofessional! I told her I was in the process of writing a negative review on Facebook. She said OK and we will respond with the pictures of how utterly filthy your carpet was when we got there. We have 14 years of 5k satisfied customers. I wrote the review and then was blocked from Facebook. I still have not received a call from the manager and this is the third day of me waiting. I'm not asking for a miracle here and I'm not asking for my carpet to be restored to look brand new. I'm asking for professionalism, which would be a callback from the manager in a timely manner. The chalkiness removed from my carpet in some areas. And the stains that aren't paint to be sprayed because I believe Chris didn't spray all the stains and what stains are left are the ones he didn't spray. But these responses and not getting a call back to explain to the manager myself what I'm asking for is completely unprofessional and not " top-tier Rated #1 Service". Her telling me that in 14 years y'all have 5000 satisfied customers tells me I should be contempt with what I got and that you don't make any mistakes.

When i told him that i was disappointed in the results, he kept talking about lighting and photons. He said to give it 24 hrs but there was no change so I ended up having to clean my own carpet and it looked better than what he did. Our carpet was not bad, I just wanted to freshen it up but they literally just played in my face. Do Not waste your time or money!
