I wish that I could give this place a zero. Let me start from the head, the administrator Jason. This guy told me that it was not their policy to turn my 90 year old total care dad every 2 hours. I could not get them to turn him ever 8 hours at times. The ADON EMIFER we call her closest thing to lucifer himself; calls herself a Christians, and treated my dad like he was an animal. Emifer the ADON when I first visited this place told me that she was coming in to clean things up. Later I found that she was a lying old lady with a very nasty attitude. When I would go to her voicing concerns just merely about my dad not getting his diaper changed, she got an attitude. I never met the DON. The techs, they had a tech who called himself Kenny G, this guy told me that he was an ex-drug addict, who was planning on buying an RV to live in with wife to go from state to state and work as a tech. MMM Scared? You should be! Then the techs, they lied on me claiming that I was telling them how to do their jobs. I SHOULD HAVE, BECAUSE GOD KNOWS SOMEBODY SHOULD!!!! Do I sound angry? Yes I am because my dad lived there for four weeks and 2 of those weeks he was in the hospital. The second time he almost died and I did not return back. One of the staff that worked there told me that the administrator Jason had a meeting with them and informed them to get anything that they could on my family as he was trying to get my dad discharged. Is that CRAZY? Just because they were not doing their jobs and I was requesting required care for my dad. If you read this I pray that you listen to your heart and run!!!!!! This place is pretty, but it is the gateway to hell for your loved ones. There is no quality of care, the office experience of course you know was great as they are trying to lure you into this Hell hole. The government knows that all these things are happening in all of these nursing homes but nothing is being done. HHS is a joke, when reporting you have to basically get in touch with your legislator to get anything done. America???? How could we allow this to happen to our elderly??? This was my first experience as being a patient in a skilled nursing facility. for rehabilitation purposes, but I must say, most of my expectations were met, and sometimes exceeded. I was there for almost a month. There are many staff who went over and above, especially in the Physical Therapy Department. Everyone at Accel was friendly, kind and concerned about each patient's welfare. It was nice having a "Room Ambassador", Mary and Ciara, who would check in with me each morning to make sure my stay was going well and to invite me to the day's activities. The nursing staff in my unit, Tina, Isabella, and Glenda were excellent. The medicine aide, Wadda, did a great job of keeping my meds straight and getting them to me. I also want to give Kudos to Maria in housekeeping. She always, always had a beautiful smile on her face and was probably one of the friendliest persons I met at the facility. I felt that any health concerns were quickly addressed by my Nurse Practitioner, Paveet. The PT department, which was the main reason for my stay, did an excellent job in working with me to get me mobile and ready to be home on my own. The atmosphere in the PT gym was upbeat. Even with all the sometimes grueling exercises I was given, I still looked forward to going each day, as I knew it would be just another step closer to getting back to my independence at home. All of the staff in the PT department worked closely as a team in helping each patient reach their goals. I give my two main therapists, Orit and Jeff, all the credit in getting me where I could actually WALK out the door on my own (well with a walker, anyway!) the day I "graduated" from the program!! They are both excellent at what they do, very patient, kind, genuine and so encouraging. If I should ever need a place to stay in my more senior years, I would definitely choose Accel at Willow Bend as my home. read more

OMGGGGGGG what can I say about Accel of Willowbend, the atmosphere is amazing, warm and inviting. I am glad with the decision to bring my Mother here. The level of care blows me away. My Mother has already had physical therapy and saw the speech therapist on her first day. She will see the Podiatrist today, and schedule for vision and hearing as well. The whole atmosphere of Accel is professional, warm and friendly, everyone speaks to you when walking down the hall. The Staff here at Accel carry themselves Professionally and look the part as well. My Mother's room smells fresh and clean and she has more drawers space for her own personal belongings. Most of all, I love when everyone came in and introduced themselves and explain what their job is, some even just stopped in to say hi and welcome us here. but what really sold me was not just everything about Accel but in her gift bag were 2 food vouchers for the family to use at any time. I really like that, incorporating family time at mealtime, I would say Accel is family-oriented. Finally, they made us feel at home, l know that the care my Mother has received and how she has been received truly puts me at rest and gives me a peace of mind.. Wow! I love this place!!! read more

I am currently a patient here recovering from major surgery. I give Accel my highest possible recommendation. With very few exceptions, I have been handled with dignity, respect and genuine caring. Even more than that, there are people who work at this facility that are some of the kindest people I've ever met. From the physical therapists to the nurses to the kitchen and custodial staffs, this facility is top notch. And to top it off, the grounds and accommodations are clean, handsome and easy to navigate by wheelchair. In closing, I'd like to ask the reader to bear in mind 2 things: 1. The average age of clients at this facility is probably around 75 years of age. How many of those highly-satisfied elderly clients even own a computer, much less know how to leave an online review? 2. With rare exceptions, the people who come online to leave a review are those that have a bad experience. Satisfied clients almost never come online to gush their satisfaction in writing. read more

I feel the entire staff really cares about the family and the patients. It starts with DON that put in place a 24 hour call line for families to call about any questions, comments or concerns called AT YOUR SERVICE . The Nurses care, house keeping staff is always ready to clean and provide. The Director of Admissions make sure that every family is well taken care of upon admissions. The BOM is always willing and ready to handle any financial issues, the social worker and the DC planner are ready to help the families the entire stay. PT has been amazing and the food is surprisingly very good. I was told they have a new Administrator that really cares and is ready for any challenging that might come. I even got my hair done from the salon and she was amazing! Highly suggest Accel at Willow Bend. read more

My husband was a patient at Accel at Willow Bend for 20 days. All the staff offered excellent care. Nurses provided his medication on time and showed timely respect and compassion when called. Physical and Occupational therapists provided effective exercises for his recovery. Receptionists always checked my temperature and greeted me going in and out by calling me by my name. The social workers provided the best advise and prepared us for an easy discharge and follow up services at home. The room was clean. Only think we disliked was the food, but I was allowed to bring my own. Overall, this place offered an exceptional service. read more

I was a patient at this Facility, I had a great stay while I was here. Everybody was great here and very nice to me. I thought the food was acceptable. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping my room cleaned everyday and making sure I felt as if I were home. Michelle was my ambassador, she would come to my room every morning to make sure all my needs were being met daily. I recently visited Accel at Willow Bend to visit my grandma and was very impressed with the facility and staff. Everyone was very friendly and knew my grandma on first name basis. My grandmothers room was impeccably clean and comfy. Good job housekeeping staff! The nursing staff is also very attentive to my grandma. I could tell that she's in good hands. It felt good to know that my grandma is well cared for. I had dinner with her, tasted great. I also noticed that the majority of the residents were smiling and friendly- a good indicator of their satisfaction. Great place!!! read more

My stay was in January 2018. I had a great experience at Accel At WillowBend, after my total right hip replacement. I felt the staff were genuine and I felt the nurses were on a good routine. Things never seemed rushed and they took the time to talk and get to know me during my short stay. I felt things always got accomplished in a timely manner. This is my second hip replacement and I thought therapy knew exactly what to do and I felt very confident in their care. I am thankful for the attention to detail, great care and therapy that was provided to me there. read more

I have worked at a few skilled nursing facilities in the past. Accel at Willowbend has been cut from a different cloth. The atomosphere in the building is very welcoming. All of the employees are kind and treat each other like family. The therapy team is awesome and makes great gains with their patients. Activies is an amazing department. Its not just bingo and movies. Activies at AWB is never stale. Our housekeeping staff strive to make sure the building is clean, fabulous and smell free. read more

please dont bring your loved ones here. the staff is rude and tgey do not answer the call fir help button even when you go to tge desk to ask for help they do not aknowledge you. the did not give meds are they should and often not at all. some of the staff was so rough with my parent they screamed in pain. this place should be shut down. left my parent dirty and dirty room. i can go on but i wont. please dont come here. no stars and if i could there would not be enough negative stars read more

I have been in this facility for a couple months and the staff is unbelievable, food was good, and I never had a problem with getting to dr appointments on time. The rehab department and trained nursing staff has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend this building if you're in need of rehabilitation. This building is beautiful and the staff is amazing. They truly do care about the people to come to stay here. Some of the most kind nurses and CNA's and they work as a team more often than not. I've seen so many people come in unable to walk and leave here walking and in good spirits. I would absolutely recommend that anyone who needs physical therapy or just a little extra care to come here. read more
