I had not been feeling well for a few days, stomach flu type feeling, and since its Christmas Eve we did have plans to bring my Mom over for Christmas. Now I may be a bit paranoid, but I know Covid symptoms are all over the place. I came in for the rapid Covid test. I was fully prepared for a long wait. It is the time of year for flu and such plus our hospitals are full and as we all know, Covid is rampant. I came in about 12:30pm and was out by 4pm. Not really what I wanted to do on Christmas Eve, but I do have piece of mind that I am Covid negative. The test itself takes 10 to 15 minutes for results, it is the nasal swab. It's about 85 to 90% accurate. The staff is professional and nice. When I finally got to go in, I had my temperature and blood pressure checked. After my test results, the doctor came in and checked my heart and lungs, asked a few questions to see what was going on. I feel pretty certain its just perhaps a stomach virus. I've never left a negative review before but I want to make sure no one else goes through the trouble I experienced with this company. The girl at the front desk told me that Accelerated took my insurance (Blue Cross PPO) and that I would only pay a $35 co pay. Two weeks later I received an email from Accelerated stating that they did not take Blue Cross PPO and that I would be charged $480 for them to look in my ear. I filed a claim that day with my insurance and Accelerated's billing department was informed the next day to not charge my card since there was a claim open. My card was still charged for the additional $480 and the billing department claims that they were never contacted and there's nothing that they can do now. I would of never have agreed to be seen if I knew I would be billed $480 to have someone look in my ear. I wish someone would call me to help remedy my issue but I will probably just get the same "please accept our apology" response from Artin. I would greatly appreciate if someone who can actually help reached out to me because as of now I will never be returning. read more

Where to start? I called and specifically scheduled an appointment with a male doctor only because I was having testicular pain. It had been diagnosed elsewhere after an ultrasound but I had increased pain and could not get in to see my doctor. In talking to the staff I made the appointment later so that I would arrive after the one male doctor returned from lunch. I had a 1:45 appt, arrived early to fill out paperwork and sat in the lobby for 2-1/2 hrs. "Appointment", do they even know what means? Keep in mind I have testicular pain and I should be lying down preferably without pants! when I go to staff and say I have to know when I'll be seen. She finally said she thought there was one person ahead. This after near the beginning she told me there were 2-3. I dont think the math adds up. Meanwhile I hear another patient say to someone on the phone "Ive been hear for more than 2 hours, if they don't take me soon I'm walking out" My thought exactly! Of course I go to the restroom and they call my name but you can't hear that from inside the restroom. Finally I'm taken back to a room for vitals and to tell my story. Then I'm taken to another room where I'm told I will be seen by the doctor soon. Each room progressively colder than the last. 20 mins later a woman comes in. I believe she says she's a PA. I go along with it thinking she's just there to ask me questions. I go through the long story. Then she says "well I can take a look at that." I tell her I specifically requested a male doctor on making the appointment and scheduled around his lunch. I should mention everyone thus far were professional and friendly. She was very kind and understanding. But she said he was at lunch!! And would return in 5 mins and that nobody told her of my request. Call me old fashioned and I love women and actually a woman performed a 20 min ultrasound on both my testicles at an imaging center 2 weeks prior. That went well and I made jokes even but I decided going forward I wanted to deal with this with a male doctor. So finally he came in took a very brief look abf told me to follow up with my scheduled Urologist appointment. It felt a bit rushed and perhaps I was worn down from all the waiting but I left not receiving the reassurance that all was okay. i think probably all is okay so far but in light of the fact that my next appointment is not for 2 weeks and surgery seems to be a very real possibility I just wanted a little more help, possibly suggestions for how to deal with the discomfort. He told me not to wear tight underwear..for all my waiting I felt cheated. I did like the doctor and realize it's a skill to advocate for yourself but I was tired and worn down and out of questions after over 3 hours. Its a shame that what that seems to be a decent staff and clean facility they must deal with a poor business model and poor leadership. I'm assuming all motivated by greed and at the expense of patient quality care and employee dignity. I can't imagine dealing with knowing that everyday patients are waiting excessively longer than they should because they are deceived by thinking an appointment will mean less wait time. I wish I could say I'd go back but not if I can help it. Of course nobody wants to go but even considering it's close to home, pleasant staff and clean, I will try another place. read more

Office were not clean, and we were waiting in the reception area for 45min after our scheduled appointment time... What is the purpose of booking an appointment. Go into the consult rooms and have to take numerous test, with no explanation and then guess what, we end up waiting almost another hour. I will never use this clinic and service again. The quality and experience of the medical profession is completely sub par in the states. This is ridiculous, first world country. I have received better medical and dental treatment in 3rd world countries that do not have electricity or water. read more

The front desk receptionist who checked me in was amazing, so was the girl that took my TPR. Though, the nurse practitioner, or whoever she was in her late 60s with the really loud squeaky SpongeBob shoes and the short black pixie cut was extremely demeaning and made me feel very uncomfortable. She walked into my room very loudly and said, "so how can I help you" with an upset tone and a loud sigh. Never introduced herself. The whole visit with her She made me feel like it was my fault I was sick with my chronic illness (which is hereditary). After that she just walked off didn't tell me my test results and left the door open so I had to ask front desk what my next steps were. I drive by this place every day and was happy to see they offer COVID testing with no appointment. We showed up at 7:30 today and were the first in line before they opened at 8 AM. Still took about 45 minutes after initial paperwork for my wife to be seen, but guess that's pretty standard. Testing without insurance is $175 during the week and after 5 PM on Friday and on weekends it's $200. It's currently 7 - 10 days for results according to their sheet. The front desk staff seems pretty friendly and efficient in handling all of their phone calls, paperwork, and clients. Will update if anything changes after results/billing. Today November 19th I had to see a dr for a sinus infection and felt very congested, sinus headache, sore throat, cough, and discolored mucus. Since the Clinton Keith location ( next to my apartment complex) had a 2-3 hour wait and the Temecula location had 1.5 hour wait. My mom and I decided to go to the Temecula location instead. Now tell me why when I get to the office there wasn't to many people in the waiting room to be called back but yet there was a 1.5 hour wait to be called back to the exam rooms. I felt bad for a couple of mothers who had toddlers and babies that needed to be seen. The mother that had a few month old boy left without being seen. The mother with the toddler that was sick had to entertain her 2 year old daughter in the waiting room and she was there before I got in the office. The mom with the 2 year old and I left at the same time. The provider was lame too..........after she tested me for strep and covid ( which were negative) she proceeded to tell me that she was sending an antibiotic for my sinus infection to the pharmacy I go to but she had to take her lunch first before she could send over the antibiotic prescription to the pharmacy and it would take 2 more hours of waiting for medication. It's ridiculous to have to wait 6 hours for medication for a sinus infection.........I could have gotten walking pneumonia in the amount of time spend waiting on a doctor to see me and got prescribed medication. I hate to say this but the Hospital's Emergency Room is faster this urgent care location. My boyfriend who was in his late 30s got shingles and I took him to the Emergency Room on a Sunday and was check in, called back, and seen by a provider within a half hour. UPDATE: 7/3/2022 Fractured my ankle in Los Angeles, my partner drove me towards home just in case I ended up in the hospital and we knew this urgent care took my insurance ** When we got there around 11am-12pm, we had no help from the nurses. My partner had to help me in the door, regardless of telling them my ankle was broken. Then one of the nurses finally got a broken wheelchair for me. They told me 5 mins into the paperwork that they changed the insurance and don't take Prospect Medical Group IF it's in San Diego County... as someone who lives in Fallbrook, which is closer to drive to Temecula than Escondido.... It's a huge thorn in one's side. They just shrugged it off and we left, ended up going to the Temecula Valley Hospital instead. My husband and I have each been to this facility four times for covid testing. We have found it to be clean, efficient, professional and a very friendly medical facility. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and moves us through the process quickly. The staff is doing their best to get results asap and we get a courteous call with the results. What can I say but a great experience! I came in about a month ago with a really bad cold we're talking bronchitis, streptococcus. Gnarly cough, aches all over. It wasn't Covid but they tested me and thankfully it was negative. The young lady Doc was absolutely amazing. 1-1 attention. Very detailed she gave me a shot in my Booty, a steroid injection and some good old meds and off I I went to celebrate my sister for her bridal shower. Literally the quickest visit with probably an hour in total from check in too. Well I come back from the Bay Area sick yet again same thing absolutely no rest going for 6-8 drive. Celebrating and no heat at my Auntys little antique house. Well I get home Sunday and Monday I'm back same thing sick again I feel it's heightened by now. God I felt so aweful. Same Doc. Came in spinning and zipping around shes great and knows her stuff. Next I had a chest X-ray and another shot. Off to go home. She listened to me lungs and Finally slept in for 3 days and rested and no more steroids from then. Just rest and sleep and stay warm! I got better absolutely but I always get bronchitis for 1-3 months. I'm very susceptible every year like clock work. Took me probably another 2 weeks to be almost back to my Normal self. + might I add .... I've gone to the other one down the next block the 24 hr one and they take forever I'm taking 1-8 hours! I've seen them for 4 years. And I'm so thankful accelerated takes my insurance! I will never go back the 24 hour. You can also make appointments and the staff are all so sweet and kind even the operator was so sweet and got me a next day appointment which I supper appreciate. This clinic is exceptional! I feel like I had to leave this great review for Accelerated Urgent care. I been sick and decided to go to see a doctor, my primary couldn't see me for a week so I decided to go to Accelerated Urgent care. I was diagnosed with severe throat infection. The dr put me in the room with Antibiotics and pain meds through IV fluids for 3 days. They took my blood and did Culture test to make sure they are treating me with the correct antibiotics. I was able to call and talk to the doctor right away when I had a question. The first day I had to wait a little longer but on the second and Third day everything went smooth and fast. The doctor did everything he can to help so I won't end up in the ER. The nurse practitioner , Erin , is amazing So helpful and patient. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone who wants to see doctors and staff that really care. They are also open to listen to your request and truly want to help you feel better. read more

Their treatment plan for COVID is COUGH MEDICINE ONLY! The 2 PAs on duty are negligently and dangerously uneducated in COVID treatment, particularly with antivirals like Paxlovid and Lagevrio. The PA "Marissa" said, "That I have never prescribed Paxlovid for any of my patients. That only one, maybe, doctor that prescribes it here, but it's very far and few (between)." Both PA's "Marissa" and "Cher" confused the FDA "Emergency Use Authorization for Paxlovid" interpreting it as "Paxlovid is only to be used in an emergency" or if patients were at immediate risk for hospitalization. When in fact, Paxlovid is explicitly "NOT AUTHORIZED for initiation of treatment in patients requiring hospitalization due to severe COVID." These drugs reduce the risk of hospitalization by 89%, are effective against Omicron variant, and prioritized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) over other COVID treatments. Both drugs are authorized for patients with mild-to-moderate COVID (and offered at no cost to patients!) The requirements are 12 and older, at least 88 pounds, and have any of the following underlying conditions: age (50 years old is 25 times higher risk for severe COVID outcomes), asthma, diabetes, depression, obesity, physical inactivity, and smoking. These are obviously not exhaustive, and per the CDC, "should not be used to exclude people with other underlying conditions from treatment of COVID." Neither PA asked about the history of, nor evaluated for, any of these underlying conditions, nor renal (kidney) or hepatic (liver) function. They looked for pneumonia symptoms and said to come back if the COVID symptoms got worse, in which case they would get an x-ray and treat the pneumonia or refer me to the hospital if it was COVID. THEY HAVE NO TREATMENT PLAN FOR COVID AND WILL NOT PRESCRIBE COVID MEDICINES! After 3 hours before being seen, they were concerned about the billings and tried to up-sell me on taking another rapid-test in office (they bill $479 for it) or a strep throat test. I called prior to coming here to make sure the physicians did prescribe anti-virals and they confirmed that yes they did. Really unhappy to have to write this review because I used to go to this urgent several times. The staff and doctors at this location are fine. My issue is with their billing. They owe me $662 I've been trying to get a refund for 10 weeks!! That's a lot of money. Through no fault of my own they over charged me. Their billing department literally doesn't even pick up the phone! I try multiple times a week to call and get no one. A girl at the actual urgent care location tried to call billing on my behalf and even she said she could get through. I've had my insurance company even call on my behalf with no success. It's very poor business practice to no acknowledge and process refunds in a timely manner. I won't be going here again because if they can't respect me enough to process a refund when it was their fault I was over charged, then I don't want to give them my business. Below I will detail what happened if any one is curious about the actual details. Hope this helps! I took my 2 year old in on December 31, 2020. I though she had fractured her arm. They claimed they no longer took my insurance and I would have to pay cash. I agreed. The first problem was the accidentally charged me twice for the physician fee. Which was $200. Then I paid and additional $417 that day ($200 for physician fee and $217 for X-rays) I left with $617 being charged to my debit. I called January 4th to explain I was charged twice for the physician fee of $200. I provided proof and sent a bank statement to the email they gave me. A month later and several calls still no refund or communication from them. I spoke directly with my insurance which informed me they paid in full for that visit and that I should be refunded the additional $417 I paid that day. My insurance also informed me that I was owed an additional $45 co pay refund due to a covid related bill that the urgent care was also paid in full for, I even had my insurance company call on a 3 way call to go over all of this with someone in their billing Another month later, nothing. I am owed $662, I finally got a call today, 10 weeks after I informed them they owe me money. They said we will Process your $200 over payment in 2 weeks. So 4 months after I was double charged, they will refund me partially. I said what about the additional $462, she said, oh well we will continue to process that. I don't have any info on that. Wait what!?!? Not ok. I filed a BBB complaint. I told them for weeks I would file complaints and write reviews if they won't help me and they simply said that's fine. Go ahead. What can I do? $662 is a lot of money and I've been so patient but I'm just getting jerked around at this point. I'm really upset. Look the whole reason I started going here is because I really respected the YouTube video the owners put out at the beginning of covid. The stuff unfortunately did not seem competent / I only say this because they kept on asking each other where things were and how to do things and it seemed like I was there experiment. Come here 1st! Don't bother calling around. Had to show proof of a negative COVID test for a work conference and it was nearly impossible to find a place that I could go to because all of the appointments were taken and their hours of service were only during my work hours and couldn't do it. Drove out here on a Sunday, no appointment needed- just walk in and first come first serve. I was greeted with a genuinely sweet front office staff and saw that there were about 2-3 people in front of me. I finished filling out my new patient forms at 0912 and was out by 0944. There was ample seating with a ton of space between seats. Such a great experience all around, definitely will be going here first for ALL of my medical needs! read more

Honestly, I rarely write bad reviews - it has to be a really blatantly scary and unsafe kind of encounter for me to write a poor review. But this is important. I am a healthcare provider and work in a clinic and hospital every day and had an unfortunate yet significant patient exposure to COVID. I am in the area and didn't want to drive to LA for a test. I made appt online. I called before my appt to see if they were close to being on time since I had Telehealth visits with my own patients. They said they were on time for appts and to come in at my sched time, so I did. First, I was greeted by a staff person NOT properly wearing a mask. The mask was barely covering her mouth (photo attached). She greeted all people like this the entire hour I observed as I waited for my "on time" appt. At one point, she pulled her mask down completely and then leaned out and around the unattached plastic shield that sits loosely on the counter, and yelled out a patient name! How is this person not educated enough to NOT do this! How are the other staff NOT correcting her? I waited outside (hence the poor picture) - the lobby/waiting area was packed with people coughing and sniffling and entirely NOT following CDC guidelines of distance and number of people in small area. No one was regulating this space whatsoever! My Vet practices far better guidelines and HECK! Home Depot does 1000 times better than this! I waited outside for an hour and ended up leaving. It was a shocking and quite baffling experience to me to witness a healthcare practice model/practice such irresponsible behavior to the community. At the very least, place chairs outside for people to distance better or better yet, require people to wait in their cars (this is how it is done in other places all over the globe - no one allows an overcrowded lobby of sick people!) - this was an astounding blatant disregard for the community and human lives. Lastly, I called and spoke to one of the "Leads" to report the issue and she was incredibly defensive and not at all interested in addressing the problem. I asked for a refund on my copay and of course I did not get refunded - the Lead said, "You should have gotten it when you were here" and I replied, "You mean go back into the overcrowded room of sick and coughing people and go talk to the person not wearing a mask properly who has been greeting sick people all day, really?" - Basically she said yep, that's what I needed to do! I am again so dumbfounded as I write this - it is very upsetting to me as a health care practitioner. read more

Do not bother coming here unless you have all day to wait to be told everything for a cash patient will be doubled in price. We were told it would be an hour to 2 hour wait. Got seen almost 4 hours later to be told there was just her, one nurse practitioner, there today. Would have been nice if that information would have been disclosed when we got there. We would have gone somewhere else. Worst urgent care experience ever. Oh, and we were not even treated. We had to go to the ER because we couldn't afford the OUTRAGEOUS costs for antibiotics and X-ray. Did we get our $180 payment "to be seen" back? Nope. I have been a frequent flyer of accelerated urgent care with two kids and both my husband and i, needing their service in the past. Today I visited the Temecula location with our 1 year old whom, had an accident while at daycare. He took a blow to the head and needed closure to two wound on his head and his chin. After a 2 hour wait in the waiting room; we were bought back by the triage provider who questioned why hadn't we been fast tracked due to the fact that my 1 year old was still actively bleeding. I had also wondered this myself, (I had previously asked the front desk how much longer it would be at the 1.5 mark; which they proceeded to tell me they had 3 people ahead of me still.) When we were placed in a room the triage provider apologized profusely and mentioned she would send the PA in ASAP. about 20 Minutes later the PA by the name of Savage walks in. She looked at his wounds and proceeded to tell me someone else was going to come clean my son up. another 15 minutes go by and in he comes. Does his job and then leaves. I then wait an additional 25 minutes at which point my 1 year old starts to fall asleep. I walk out of the room to find someone to ask how much longer, I find the PA and numerous other staff members including the gentlemen whom cleaned my sons wounds all standing around talking. Savage looks up and goes "Oh are you ready?" Well what else would would I be waiting for? i respond "yeah, he's about to fall asleep so i just wanted to see how long." she responded "oh you can let him sleep." i walk back to our room and leave the door open; as the PA and assistant guy walk towards the room i hear Savage mocking me saying "Well we better hurry up, he's falling asleep." when they enter the room i ask if he needs to be checked for a concussion after hitting his head on concrete the PA responds no. She proceeds to glue his chin shut and then says anything else? Not once did she look in his ears for bleeding after a blow to the head, Not once did she check over his body for other injuries. not once did she look in his eyes to see if his pupils were going to dilate. So needless to say, if this PA is the only provider on staff like she was today, expect extremely long delays. she clearly likes to socialize more than she likes to treat those in need. I would also highly consider even allowing her to look at you or your child. extremely disappointed in this experience as I know PA Savage is not a good representation of this company. every other provider we have seen across your locations has been fantastic. read more

I would give them no stars if possible. Two times I have been there and each time they keep trying to give me prescriptions for medication that I'm allergic to. I tell them every time when I am getting checked in that I have allergic reactions to medication's. For some reason doctors never believe me and constantly try to give prescribe medication that I'm allergic to. Then when I asked the doctor why they would try to prescribe me this and I get told is it's not a very common allergy and looks at me like I'm in the wrong for questioning them. Horrible experience for somebody who has to be extremely cautious on what type of medication they're being prescribed. Think twice before going. read more

I re-visisted Accelerated Urgent Care today. I had a better experience than my last visit. The staff and care were excellent. I'm not sure what the difference was. I will go back again read more

The staff is terrible no sense of urgency. Doctor was very careless. Only 1 patient ahead of me and they took forever. They hire rude medical assistants. Never going back!!! read more

I was sent away previously by another urgent care place because of having only medi cal insurance. Luckily I found this place right away and called them, the receptionist was very nice and told me they would take my insurance (with my massive earache at the moment I FELT A HUGE RELIEF!) Once I arrived at the front desk the receptionist and the whole ambiance in the place had a very nice energy. I did not wait long before they took me to take my vitals and shortly after that I was checked by the Doctor. Over all a great experience! read more

I don't understand why scheduling an appointment is even an option here. You're just going to end up waiting 2-3 hours anyways so whats the point ? This location needs to get a better system going than what it is now . Im disappointed with today's visit and i normally come to this location when i have to . And i know i am not the only person who has been through this situation before and i can see from other reviews thats been an issue . Maybe its time to fix the problem !! read more

Definitely had a great experience on our first time coming here. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. I had forgotten my insurance card but had a photo, and was easily able to email. She was even able to check my daughters eligibility even though I didn't have a photo of her card, even went the extra mile to print out a temporary card for me to have. The staff and doctor were friendly, great with kids. Clean and modern facility. Would be my first choice when needing to go to urgent care. read more
