Our garage door springs broke again after heavy use. Over the 20 year life of my door I have replaced springs three times. Accent was the only company I found willing to come out the same day I call them. This time around I was in the market to replace the door after the springs broke again after 5 years. With supply chain issues and a picky HOA, the door I needed was back ordered a week. Accent still came out the same day, installed a temporary clamp on my springs so I could use my opener during the wait. After a week, the exact ETA they provided, they showed up and installed the new door in about 3 hours. I couldn't be more happy with their service and professionalism. The new and modern insulated door is awesome. Their pricing couldn't be better. They even perfected my opener installation which I had done on my own a few years ago. Alert !!!!! Today I had an emergency. My garage door after being hit by my tailgate still being left up went off track and got stuck and uneven. This is the second time we have used Accent for our garage door repairs. Our spring broke on a 1956 wooden door. The guys offered to repair it the very next day! They could've tried to talk me into replacing the door, but offered to install new springs and rollers instead. I really appreciated being offered an affordable option get get my old, still serviceable door working again. They were prompt, efficient, polite and even masked up to speak with me. I am so glad I called Jim. Now I have a garage door guy forever. I called Jim in a bit of a pinch because our garage door was being triggered to open every time we tried to close it. Jim was at our house the next day and troubleshot the problem in steps. He didn't want to do something drastic without taking baby steps to see if he could avoid taking drastic measures, like replacing the opener or certain parts. Although it wasn't fixed the first time, I would rather try fixes in stages to try to save some money. Ultimately we had to replace a set of eyes, but Jim was super thoughtful about the process. 5:45 p.m. - I arrive home after working a long day, picking up the kids and battling traffic to get across town. Brilliant. 5:46 p.m. Now, I have to back out of garage with the Thule box wedged between the car and the open garage door.
