Do not hire this company. In August 2024 I paid over $3,000 to Select Garage Doors to install a high-lift garage door opener along with new springs, drums, tracks, and hardware. The process was completely frustrating. They missed the original appointment, and when they finally came the job took more than five hours longer than I was told. One installer left partway through the job, leaving the other to finish late into the evening. Less than two years later my garage door started having serious problems opening and closing. I had another reputable garage door company inspect the system and they found multiple installation issues. The door was completely unbalanced, the tracks need to be redone, and the springs have to be fully replaced. The technician also said I am lucky the opener itself was not damaged from the strain caused by the poor installation. I now have to spend about $2,000 to correct work that should have been done properly the first time. For a $3,000+ installation to fail in under two years is completely unacceptable. read more

I have a new garage door and I couldn't be happier! When the old one gave out, I didn't know squat about garage doors or their components. So I went with my gut and picked Select Garage Doors to repair it. They came out and told me how they could repair it and due to a crack in a precarious spot he showed me what could happen long term. He also said he could repair it, and make it work for a while longer. Then I asked him to quote both repair and a new door. The quote for the new door was amazing, being a senior I'm sure I got a discount, because the price was well within my means. The order went in, I paid the deposit. They said within 2 to 3 weeks. They were here in less than two! The job was done quickly and efficiently. And they cleaned my garage floor better than it was. We have now used Select Garage Doors for our two homes. This company is the Best. We had previously used a garage door company to replace our garage doors in FairPlay CO. That company took a $2500.00 deposit, and never delivered our doors. We were in need of a new company to get our doors replaced, we found Select Garage Doors, & the rest is history. Not only did they deliver, the installation was Great. Such great service, quality, and pricing. We decided to use them again at our primary residence Parker Co, in 2025. We did have one issue, the wrong doors were ordered. So 1st they painted the doors to our trim color as asked. When the paint wasn't holding up. I chose Select to fix my garage after an internal spring system broke. They provided a quote which I accepted based upon them being able to fix it that day. Unfortunately, they couldn't come back until the following Monday because they didn't have the parts and when they did come back they forgot parts and had to go get them. They were significantly more expensive and was ok with that in order to get things done quickly. Had I known they'd have to come back I would have cancelled but they already had the deposit. When our old garage door came off the track, we scheduled two quotes. The first business was outrageous, and we managed to fix it before Jordan from Select Garage doors came out. However, we wanted to get a quote for new springs, so we kept our appointment with Jordan. Jordan was friendly and knowledgeable. He let us know we didn't need new springs and gave us some advice on how to install the new opener we had purchased. Avoid Select Garage Doors! Friday afternoon our garage door closed on our recycling bin and misaligned the door as well as separated some of the panels from the support struts. Frustrated I searched online for the top rated garage door repair company in our area. I called and scheduled an appointment window for 9am to noon on Saturday morning. They even had a $75 off repair coupon online. I am pretty handy, and took a look at the door understanding the problem before the tech came to the house so we could discuss it when he made the quote. Select Garage door blew the appointment, called 5 minutes before noon to tell me they would arrive between noon and 3pm. Then again they blew this appointment, called again and said they would be there by 5. At 530, as I am cooking my family dinner the tech shows up. I stop what I am doing to go and show him the problem. This was pretty straight forward garage door repair. Any handy person could do this themselves with the correct parts and time. I am leaving town on Monday so I wanted to spend my weekend with my wife and two small children; not repairing a garage door. So I intended to pay to have this repair done. The tech realized pretty quickly that I knew what I was talking about and wasn't going to convince me to buy a replacement. So he called backup , (a smarter tech) over the phone but ignorantly left it on speaker as he sent photos and video of the problem. These two techs clearly were not interested in repairing my garage door, as they attempted to convince me I need to replace the entire door for a small misalignment and additional bracing repair. I told them I understood the job wasn't big, but I had a second door opener that needed to be installed on the second door and I would happily pay them to do that as well just to get it off my plate. I was happy to pay a fair price for both jobs. Once it became clear they were not going to convince me to buy an ENTIRE new door (that wouldn't match my other door so I would technically need two doors to be compliant with HOA) they declined to help me with the repair. Oh but there's more! He asked me to do the install of my other door opener since he had already come out to my house and I "used his time." The company offers free assessment... I was infuriated at this point. Decline to help me with a repair and then try and guilt me into paying you for a simple job while leaving my original problem for me to figure out. No thank you! To add insult to injury,the tech (I won't post his name) asked me to give them a positive review since he would get $10 if I used the QR code on his business card. He used the words "to at least make it worth my while for coming out here." Unbelievable. Sunday I went to Home Depot. They don't sell the parts that surely this tech had in his car. However I was able to fabricate the supports and use slightly damaged parts from the garage door since as I stated... it was not seriously damaged. The door works again, and is stronger with the reinforcing done to the panels. Unfortunately this ruined the weekend for my family as Dad was busy waiting on a tech appointment, and ultimately fixing a garage door, instead of spending quality time with his family with our original plans in town. This company should be ashamed of themselves for trying to hustle a customer, and then when they couldn't; just hanging that customer out to dry and not doing a repair because they didn't want to. Don't worry Select Garage Doors. I will be posting this review far and wide at your request. Thanks for nothing! I would give you zero stars if I could. Since you gave me zero service. read more

Jordan was stellar! We booked a lube and tune. When he got there he spent half an hour explaining all the parts of our garage door and which parts were causing the loud sound we were trying to fix. It was very helpful. He went over the door umin great detail and was very professional. We didn't feel pressured to buy anything extra but after a great explanation from him we realized it would be worthwhile to change our motor, which was at the end of the life. He was able to add this on same-day! The work was excellent and he even helped us change out a couple light bulbs in the garage at the end. Can't say enough good things about my new garage door installation today. Zuriel texted me to let me know he was on his way and showed up promptly. I asked him if he would need 6 hours or so to install the door (2 car garage door) and he said he'd have it done in a couple hours. He answered all of the questions that I asked and was very thorough and polite. I was more than skeptical that he could remove the old door and install the new one in 2 hours, but he did, and the door looks great. I have had lots of headaches trying to get hail damage issues repaired for the last 6 months, and this was the one bright spot through it all. Select Garage Doors was awesome to work with. I decided to work with them over other vendors due to their responsiveness and free consultation. My garage door stopped running on its tracks due to all the moisture we've had in Colorado this year so decided that I needed to have somebody come and take a look after fixing it multiple times a day wasn't keeping the wheels on track. I used Yelp to solicit different companies not knowing who to go with but I ultimately decided on select just due to how responsive they were and how professional they seemed even over messages. The breakdown of cost was really good that we were given two options one was a fix that would hold us over it for however long the garage door lasted, and the other was to replace the garage door now versus later. Within a week of calling we had a new garage door installed and it has been working incredibly well since then. Anytime I call select somebody answers the phone promptly and helps me with whatever issues I might be having. I highly recommend working with select if you have garage door needs. read more

My garage door spring broke in the morning, leaving my car stranded in the driveway. He explained the issue was the hinges that needed to be replaced. Also, the motor was not aligned to the door properly. Cody replaced the hinges and aligned the motor with the door.
