This is the worst dentist office I have ever experienced. They to do not respect their contract with dental insurance at all. They over charge me when I was there on Oct 22, 2025 and said they will refund me if my insurance pays more than their estimate. Because they are in net work provider with my insurance (Dental dental) and they should automatically refund me the overpayment after insurance paid them. You know what! they do not! Even after I called 5 times and emailed the manager at e7th@accessdentalmgmt.com three time. They just stick their head in the sand. Nice, well-meaning staff with, for the most part, highly-honed skills. The office is somewhat shabby with large cracks in the floor, and the waiting room furniture is very uncomfortable. Probably due to understaffing, the wait time can run an extra hour. Some of the young staff are working with long outdated X-Ray equipment and at times hold the films with their fingers(!). I got a cleaning and some X-Rays here with my family. They claimed I had several cavities that appeared in the last months since I went to a different dentist, which needed filling that day. I felt odd about it so my family arranged a second opinion at a family dentistry location who said the X-rays showed nothing at all of the sort and in fact said my teeth looked great. The staff at Access didn't all have scrubs on and felt very noncooperative. At the very least, the reception was fine and I did get my teeth cleaned even if it was less than smooth. read more

I have been the patient of several affordable dental practices and this is the worst. The reason I'm leaving a review is because they changed their business hours from 9am to 10am and didn't call to reschedule my appointment. I like early appointments to not disrupt my workday too much. I showed up at 8:45 on the day of my appointment, and sat there in the parking lot until 9:15, at which point I called them. My call went to a call center, and after some confusion, they told me about the change of hours and explained that someone should have called to reschedule. They told me that someone would be calling to do that and to wait to hear back. Nobody ever called to reschedule, so I'm taking this opportunity to go somewhere else. Not only are they not punctual here, but the hygienist was the least thorough of any I've had the pleasure of being scraped by. They seem like they're fresh out of school and don't really care. Poor bedside manner too. The doctor himself is friendly and seems to care, so two stars for him. I can't recall his name, unfortunately. I'll be going back to Castle Dental where they are open when they say they will be on their front door. read more

Never trust a dental facility in a strip mall. - I went in at about 4:45pm for my 5pm appointment so that I could fill out all the necessary new patient forms and have an on-time appointment. - 5:20pm: I finally get called in for my appointment. Did all the usual stuff, x rays, etc. The X-ray machine was handheld and was held together by duct tape (I can't make this up). Thought I was done with my X-rays then was lead to another x-ray machine where I had to stand up and remove my earrings (not fun or pleasant when you just stretched your ears). Oh, and it turns out this wasn't covered by my insurance. - Finished all the pre-work and was ready to see the dentist, but the dentist was still with another patient so I was lead back to the waiting room. - 15 minutes later I was finally in the dentist's chair. Dentist came in and already seemed like she was in a rush. - For the first 15 minutes, the dentist tried to get me to get procedures done THAT VERY DAY. Like wow, can I get the cleaning I came here for please? - The dentist started my cleaning; the most painful cleaning I've ever had in my 26 years of life. Literally, tears were visible running down my cheeks and she just kept going. - First part of the cleaning was relatively quick, of course since she was going really fast and hurting me! - The assistant did the other half of the cleaning and kept asking if I wanted to start getting cavities filled. AGAIN, I reminded her that I was only there for a cleaning. - I finally left at about 6:45pm. Awful, rushed, sales like experience. Never going back. read more

The prosthodontist needs to learn bed side manor. His inability to feel empathy towards my fear of a last minute tooth extraction is why I've decided to change dentists. As someone with severe anxiety, I've never felt so disrespected by a health care provider, ever. I also don't think that getting dental work should feel like buying a car. Extremely dangerous and unprofessional. My friend went last year to get her tooth fixed because it was hurting. During the procedure, one of the dentist cut the bottom of her tongue badly enough to get stitches. As she was in so much unimaginable pain, the dentist offered to give her stitches "out of the kindness of his heart". After slicing her tongue and not fixing her initial issue, they ran out of time and suggested she make another appointment. She did and then they cancelled on her because the dentist was not available. She wasn't able to eat for a week and was in so much pain. If accessible to her financial ability, she could have taken legal action. This review is the next best bet. This "orthodontistry" is an unorganized, unprofessional and dangerous place to trust with your heath. Please be careful and know what your getting yourself into here. read more

This place is a NIGHTMARE. It has taken me a few days to process my visit. But I beg you do not make the mistake I did and go to this dentist! They treat you like you're number and it is an awful place. I'm mistakenly did not trust the reviews. They suggested I get my teeth extracted and after the procedure the doctor asked the assistant for the bone to be place (mind you I am in the chair with two holes in my mouth) and they told me they didn't have any. I then threatened to call my insurance so they told me they would go get the bone. They then told me that it would costs $500 dollars before putting it in!!! So I literally had to pull out my CC before they would do the thing they agreed on. The assistants are terrible unprofessional as well at the dr. It was pretty disgusting to be honest. I was there for a total of 5 hours and it felt like a bad dream. I went to a new dentist and they basically told me they did an awful job so will have to get it redone. At this point I am planning on taking legal action against this place so hopefully no one has to endure this place like I did. So I've had good experiences here before and the doctors before have been nice. But today wasn't that at all. It was as if they were in a rush to get everything done with your cleaning so they can hangout in the office together. Maybe this is because there was some kind of special rate for a cleaning and I wasn't having them do anything extra that they wanted to do. I hate this place. It's not the place to come to of you expect to be seen on time. They will set ortho appts for 10ppl at 9am then the dr doesn't show up till 10. By then they fill all the chairs with general patients so you have to wait longer for a empty chair. They never have the same dr for more then 6mths and every time I bring my daughter in for her braces the new dr wants to do something different. I was stupid enough to prepay for her entire braces so I'm stuck with them until she is done. Please ppl don't waist your time this place is horrid. I went to access dental on east 7 to see if I could get a better price on a crown. I was told absolutely by the dentist and was even given a written estimate which would be a $1000 dollars less than at Swish Dental. They scheduled me for an appointment on 11/7/2023 at 3 pm which meant I had to leave work early. I arrived on time and was even sat in a procedure room. I waited ten minutes when a short bearded male nurse came to inform me that the dentist decided she can't do the procedure she originally convinced me she could do. They even called me before my appointment to make sure I would be on time. When I asked to speak to the female dentist she would not even come explain why she wasted my time. When I became upset the male nurse snickered and laughed at my predicament. Ok- this is not the place to go for touchy-feely dentistry. Nobody is going to ask you how you're feeling today or what your kids are up to. They are not interested in anything other then getting you in and out. You have been warned. So why the 4 stars? Because if you are like me, or any of the other 80 million uninsured in this country, and you need to see a dentist, it is amazing to have a place that will see you without an appointment, and without charging you an exorbitant rate. I made an appointment and probably waited about 10 or 15 minutes...pretty reasonable. I was shown into the back and a technician took x-rays. The dentist came in and told me what I needed (besides the cleaning I was there for) and gave me the option of making another appointment or getting it done then. They took care of it right then and I walked out 50 minutes after my appointment started with a cleaning and a filling replaced. All this was $164 after my coupons, which they honored despite my having left them at home. It's not perfect, but it is necessary. read more

Despite previous reviews, I decided to give this place a chance because a.) I had a $25 coupon, b.) I'm a poor college student (minus the college student part), and c.) it is really close to my house. I have them two stars because they were really patient with my insurance stuff. Originally I wasn't covered in my insurance but turns out, my dad had switched dental plans and didn't let me know.. First impression, there were young kids in the waiting room unattended?! They just kinda ran around. However, when it was my turn the x-ray machines and rooms were well equipped, so that put me at ease. The next step was being seen by the dentist and having my teeth. I came in for a cleaning and that's all that I needed.. One of the WORST cleanings I've ever had. The WORST one was from a dental school and students were working on me...this cleaning was almost as bad!! The dentist came and used that round sawy thingy to clean out my deposits. The water dripped ALL over my face and down my neck throughout the whole time. It was really uncomfortable. It probably took about 7 minutes and then the associate/nurse (dunno what they're called) took over to do a polishing..HELLO!??! what happened to the flossing? Isn't that normally a part of the cleaning too!? Also, I still paid $30 dollars after the coupon (I would have paid $35 w/o it) but that's ok because I'd rather drive the extra milage to find somewhere better! Honestly, you get what you pay for... I personally give this place one star. I threw in the second because my husband had a good experience with different staff members. The good thing? You can get an appointment in a hurry and they also take walk-ins. The bad thing? Hell-o, there might be a reason why it's so easy to get in. I was equal parts liking and not liking the environment. Cool violet shade of paint on the wall and nice interiors for a dentist's office...however, all of the exam rooms are open, so all their other patients are going to get to hear you get reamed out for not flossing. Maybe you like eavesdropping, so this could be a plus for you. The staff was friendly enough until they started putting things in my mouth. Then they acted as if the orifice they were poking around in and yanking this way and that was just some dumb animal...or maybe a rubber mask. They had absolutely no regard for my mouth being attached to a live human being. I thought the hygienist was going to stretch my lips off. Then they practically drowned me. A lot of water was collecting at the back of my throat and I wasn't able to swallow with all the contraptions in my mouth. I made them remove their hands from my mouth so I could swallow...this is when they finally clued me in on how to keep that from happening. (You breathe through your nose.) That handy little tip would've been nice before you stuck four instruments in my mouth. They took a bunch of fancy round-the-globe x-rays and checked out my teeth...told me the one I came in specifically to check out was just fine, needed a small filling. The day after? Still having the pain when I bite on it, which is why I went in in the first place. So I'm wondering if they even consulted the x-rays they took. Sheesh. I basically left the experience feeling like I'd gone to the dental equivalent of Jiffy Lube, but without the Jiffy part. I did not catch the names of the people who handled my visit, but my husband said the two Indian women who took care of him were really great. I would go back if I could request these specific dentists, but if it's just a toss-up as to who I'd be assigned to, I would definitely pass. read more

Stay far away from this schlock-shop! I was very disappointed with Access Dental. I had made an appointment, or so I thought, with a particular dentist whose name was in my health care search. After my X-rays (by a tech with really bad breath), a completely different dentist walked in. I almost walked out then and there. This was completely unprofessional. Then, after she looked at my mouth for the sum total of about 2 minutes, she pronounced that I had periodontal disease. Huh? I have pink gums, no pain, and no bleeding. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss every night. Any recession I have goes back to the years I had braces. I told her that I disagreed with her diagnosis and I just wanted a cleaning. She refused and claimed that it would be malpractice on her part. I'm no legal expert, but this seems like a simple waver would suffice. However, I don't believe a 2 minute check, just looking at some random recession is enough to make that diagnosis. I got out of my seat and left this place as fast as my legs could carry me. This was a waste of time and money! You're better off having your cousin Jimmy take his pliers and pull than going here. read more

Well to start off I must say I was very impressed with Access Dental!! I took my boyfriend there this morning due to him having a horrible toothache for the past couple of weeks. He doesn't currently have insurance so we looked for somewhere affordable and nice...and we found Access Dental...they took him on short notice and charged $50 for x-rays and $200 to have his tooth pulled out. The dentist was awesome she went through all of his options from saving the tooth to the least expensive - which was having his tooth pulled. Everything was clean, people were super nice, and the best part about it was that once they went over all his options it only took maybe 5-10 minutes to have the tooth pulled and he was good to go he has no pain just a little bit sore. I would definitely recommend this to anyone regardless if you have insurance - they were very professional and made my boyfriends day!! By the way we went to the location off Rundberg :) read more

This office has been extremely disorganized and chaotic both times I've visited and I will not return there for any reason. For my first visit, they handled a routine exam and filling decently...but the appointment ran about 40 minutes late and everything was extremely slow moving once I was back in the exam room as well. There seemed to be dozens of dental students running around who weren't quite up to par with procedures and keeping things straight. The staff was scatter-brained and not particularly friendly. I was informed by the dentist that I needed wisdom teeth extraction (which I was already aware of) and he seemed to imply that the procedure could be done that same day. I told him that was not possible as I needed to make arrangements for healing time and someone to help me. I was given a rundown on cost and advised to schedule an appt on any Wednesday in September when the Dr. would be present in the office. Somehow, that Dr. ended up not being in the office on the day I was scheduled for my procedure but I didn't get a call until 5pm the evening before trying to reschedule my appointment. I had my mother come in from out of town and had to request off of work several weeks in advance - there's no way I could reschedule, nor should I have to. They said they would schedule me with a different doctor and kept my appt time and location. When I arrived at my appt this morning, I was told the procedure could not be done and they gave me a piece of paper with oral surgeon references and expected me to remedy the situation myself. My mother came into town for nothing, I wasted a precious day off of work and barely anything was done to take accountability for this mess up. I insisted that they should help by at least coordinating so that I could get an appointment with an oral surgeon as quickly as possible...which they helped with, only at my demand. All around absurd and unacceptable experience with this office - do not waste your time here. read more

At first they could not find the appointment when we arrived, when they finally found it they said the appointment was canceled. thar they sent a text & because there was no response they cancel the appointment with no notice to the patient. They said they were booked up & had to reschedule. It was definitely a mistake in their part & they did not schedule the appointment properly cause we never received a text, a call nor email to confirm the appointment like other offices. The fact that they had all the information, like cell # & email address tells me they did have us but as they had difficulty finding the appointment means they never set up a proper appointment for us. The staff (2 females) that were there in Saturday, 1/07/23 at 11:30am were extremely unprofessional, cold & expressed by actions, word, face & body langhave that they did not care for patients, or at least my mother & I. They didn't show any type of concern of the fact that this was a follow up after my mother was in the emergency clinic two weeks ago with major gum pain & this was the follow up for that. There was no accountability on the fact that this appointment was canceled without notice. They were just firm on pointing the finger at us that it was canceled due to no response on a text/call/email which we never received. I have never had any dentist or doctors office cancel any appointment without any type of notice. This is not a caring, not a professional staff, team, office and is here just for a paycheck. We had to find another office to make our appointment at whom actually cares for all patient, recommend by a family member whom assures we will not have this issue & is also off William Cn, just down the road from this office. Worst Place Ever & I have been to a dentist in Central America countries. I've never had such a bad experience just form the waiting room. Upon entering the dental office, I was met with an overwhelming stench of dirty diaper odor. I then notice 5 children running, throwing their milk bottles, screaming, missing shoes, shirts, etc. I went to the receptionist checked in. Keep in mind over a month ago I specified early 10 AM (first available) appointment. I was not seen for the first 30 minutes. While I'm in the waiting room; after I specified first available with the receptionist upon scheduling, I notice people were already being seen. After 30 minutes went by I asked the receptionist at the front desk why my appointment was delayed and when I would be able to be seen by a dentist. She shrugged her shoulders and said bout 15 more minutes. At this point, I was nauseated by smelling dirty diaper stench, and annoyed by listening to 5 kids screaming, fighting, and crying. I left..
