Dr. Evans' website is also easy to navigate. Overall I believe dermatology offices can become quite busy since they not only conduct assessments but have to perform lengthy procedures depending on their patients' needs. I just came back from a facial with Carmen, who works with Dr. Evans. Her technique and room is kept neat and clean. I felt nurtured and relaxed from my treatment. I believe she has been in this line of work for 35 years. It was nice that throughout the facial she asked if I was comfortable. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that while I was waiting for my face mask to dry, I also received a lovely foot treatment as well. I highly recommend Carmen.

The 2 times I've been here I've had to wait 15 mins pass my appointment time. After physican assistant takes measure's my weight, height, and temperature. I waited another 15 minutes for the doc. Total time with doc was less than 5 minutes since my survey I wrote when I was with the PA had no issues. I don't have any chronic ailments yet so I consider my lucky so far. I probably do check in too much at restaurants. Too much waiting but it's only for once a year so far.

Dr. Ades takes time to sit down with you to discuss what is bothering you and he will not prescribe medications or other medical tests unless necessary. He does not rush you out of his office and I find him very easy to talk to. One good thing about Dr. Ades is that from September to May he has Saturday hours that alternate ever other week, and that is a huge help since I cannot always take off during the week. One comment, I will make is about the "examination gowns" they do not look as if they are fresh out of the bag - honestly, with so many germs out there I would like to see a stack of gowns either in a clear plastic bag or have them pressed and neatly stacked on a shelf. That is the only comment that is not favorable, otherwise I would refer Dr. Ades to all my friends &a family.

But once I needed moral support, understanding, and gentle care, forget it. She is condescending, old fashioned to the point of paranoia, as in, not open to any suggestions or what you see your needs are, narrow-minded and in the end it she was being I felt really rude, to me. Awfully uncomfortable. I am NEVER EVER going back. I prefer to suffer anxiety occasionally than to be in front of someone with such little feelings for us the patients. We are not a number, we are a person with feelings. I understand that the world is full of drug problems, but some of us are just regular people, who need occasional help, for occasional general anxiety. I will go back to homeopathic medicines before I am encountered one more time but the ruthlessness and coldness of some Western medicine doctors. I anyone knows a good, nice, caring doctor please let me know.
