Asked for service to include cleaning fur, they did not manage to clean the fur nearly at all in my one bedroom one bathroom apartment. Even worse, two times when I asked them to clean something when they were leaving, they gave me attitude and rolled their eyes. Service felt very unprofessional for that reason. read more

I've tried other services, specifically to get baked on grease off the bottom of my oven (left from Thanksgiving 2024). AccessMaids got the job done using actual elbow grease...no chemicals (though I had some in the house)...not to mention that they changed my bed linens and cleaned the rest of the apartment from top to bottom. Contracted Access to do "Move Out" clean, I added additional cabinet and refrigerator cleaning. Absolutely the biggest ripoff I have had with any cleaning service. I have used AccessMaids for at 10 years and they always do a great job. Their new website makes the process even easier and it's a very straightforward process. You make an account, book online, input your credit card info, select the type of cleaning you want (with whatever options you want). It's all line-item costs and it's clear how much you will pay. Then you can leave them instructions to pick up your key, or you can wait for them. They send you a text message when they're on their way, and they do an amazing job. Easy to recommend, and use them a few times a year when I get to that point where things are disordered enough in my apartment where I'm like, ".....Ehhh, I'm calling the maids this time." Terrible experience. We paid $450. for a "deep clean" of our house, and got very little for it. The two cleaning people showed up with a dirty vacuum with no hose or edge cleaners and dirty rags and few cleaning supplies, when they saw our cleaning supplies, they used ours even though they were supposed to supply their own. They pretty much wiped everything including a substandard wiping of floors instead of mopping and cleaning. When we pointed out a stove top that wasn't cleaned properly, areas that weren't vacuumed, and a shower that wasn't cleaned, they got upset and called management. When I reminded them it was a deep clean, they reluctantly cleaned the areas. When we told management we were unhappy with the service and canceling future visits, they said nothing. As requested they sent me a message 20 min before arrival. They came early and they did a fabulous job. I didn't think my place needed cleaning. when they finished, my unit looked brand new. They also cleaned the inside of my oven as requested and it looks like it was just delivered. I've have hired this company since my first apartment in 2005. Moved out of old apartment that we had lived in for almost 8 years. Not dirty people but some things had not been moved in quite a while. Once the place was empty I felt we should be on a hoarders episode or something. I was not home when the crew arrived but it was east to book and communicate with the cleaners upon arrival. When I saw the place the day after it was cleaner than when we moved in. Maybe some bad reviewers got bad cleaners, or maybe they are just ass holes. But I would 10/10 recommend this place. Do not use this service! The first time they came to the house they went to the back of the residence and it took them 30 minutes to find the front door, after we had to call them numerous times to try to help them, and I was charged for this time. I was charged over $350 for a small 3 bedroom townhouse. When they returned to the home two weeks later they again went to the back of the property and couldn't figure out how to get to the front door even though it was the same person who was there before. We spent over an hour trying to help her find the front door and she would repeatedly hang up the phone on us so we called the office for help and the person kept saying they were at the front door and when we told them they weren't he said they were in a car in front of the property which they weren't. He outright lied! I had to put a stop on my credit card to stop them from charging my account. Please save yourself a big headache and avoid this company! read more

Dirt on floor, cabinets with spots, etc in the kitchen. Two cleaners were there for "3.5 hours" but somehow missed this......right. Better value for your money elsewhere surely. read more

DO NOT USE. They called me to threaten me today. I am appalled by the quality of service and their lack of professionalism. I paid $450 for their deepest cleaning available which included them doing many loads of laundry. What they did could be generously described as "tidying" but nothing more. They shoved laundry into the closet. They left wet clothing in the washing machine. They put dirty dishes into the cupboard. I was so excited to be able to come home to a clean apartment. I have never been more disappointed. They could not have been there for more than an hour when I paid for 5. I called them and told them to come back and finish what they started. After some convincing, they sent the original people back to my apartment to attempt to placate me. When the cleaning people arrived, they gave me a cold shoulder. They left basically every mess but did *maybe* one load of laundry. I emailed them again and just requested a refund because I was clearly not going to get what I paid for. No response. After waiting a week, I just put in a chargeback request with my bank. Their billing department called me just now and threatened me, saying that they were going to be putting this charge up with a collection agency and we're going to file with the credit board. They said basically "that is not how this works- you don't get to do this" at which point I understood that they were trying to intimidate me into reversing the chargeback request with my bank and so I hung up. The move out cleaning service that I ordered was completely unsatisfactory. Many of the specific request that I picked out on their menu such as cleaning the baseboard, wall, door frame, light switches, blinds, the closet, dog hair, tile were NEVER DONE. The cost of the service was $312 ($40/hr, 2 hours and 50 mins with 2 people) and honestly i truly believe they spent about 30 mins in my apartment and that was it. I emailed and called the company immediately after I have received the poor service. However 8 hours later, they charged my credit card. I further emailed them and then they said they want to make up for the service 2 days later but it was too late I had already need to hand the keys to my tenant. I followed up again and demanded a full refund. They said that they don't offer refund due to their terms and condition and said "Please note all unpaid invoices are sent to the 3rd party for collection.") I totally felt that was a threat. This is the first time I hired cleaning help and I have to say I was left in utter shock from the quality of service. I paid extra for refrigerator and oven cleaning yet they didn't touch anything inside or on top of the fridge. I had dirt and dust left behind all over. The owner called me and asked me if I offered the ladies a step stool and that they DO NOT clean on top of the refrigerator. They charged me an extra $300 than what they initially quoted me. The owner was disgusting on the phone. I even had someone from the company come out to evaluate the work and she told me she'd never pay for the work these 2 ladies did. All-in-all a good service. The cleaners are fast, thorough, and professional. The website is easy to use. Prices are not too crazy. My only suggestion would be that they make it easier to request the same cleaners each time. My only complaint is that it always seems to take the same number of hours to clean my house, no matter what I have them do or not do, so it doesn't really matter if you try to make it less expensive after they've been there a while. read more

Most mediocre cleaning services I had ever paid. I feel I got robbed $125 dollars + I left $25 dollars tip. I have pictures but can't upload them. Every single piece of furniture was dusty as hell, you could see they only dusted the front area, front area. The kitchen floor had stains spots and crumbs in every corner. I paid extra for the bathroom antibacterial treatment and when I came back home there was hair (my wife and from my shaving) in the tub, sink and I won't even mention behind the toilet. The porch was exactly the way I left it, they didn't took the trash out. And I could keep going but you have the idea. I wrote an email to the support group and the told me they will send someone again without charge, they gave us a few options and we picked Monday 18 and the window time was from 11:30 to 4pm, we both work, so I spoke with my mother in Law and she made arrangements in her part time job so she could be home for "Accessmaids", after almost 5 hours waiting for them, I got an email at 4pm telling me they just saw my replay, from 3 days ago, and they were not going to make it. Booked this service not understanding Im paying for 2 maids for the same timeframe even though it takes half the time. It usually takes 1 cleaner 2 hours. They were done in 1.5 and still charged for the minimum of 2 but tried to say it took them 3 hours and included time for their ride to drop them and pick them up all for almost $200?! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I ordered the "Super Spring Cleaning" with base board + fridge cleaning, and got a quick tidy up. When I got back to my apartment after the cleaning women had "finished", I could barely tell the difference from when I left. They pretty much made my bed, took out the trash, and cleaned the toilet. Probably would have taken me about 15 minutes to do. The rest of my place was left completely untouched coffee table, kitchen table, stove, shower, ALL floors, all counter tops, etc. I have a strange feeling the women left my apartment after less than 20 minutes with little to no care whatsoever. I have contacted the company and have yet to hear back, but it's only been a few hours. I pray they take responsibility and send a new cleaning crew ASAP during a time that fits within my hectic schedule (hence the need for a cleaning service). Hired AccessMaids to do a COVID cleaning prior to a new tenant move. Cleaning crew arrived nearly 2 hours off the scheduled booking time (with no notice or apology). Crew forgot to clean the oven, as instructed, and managed to leave etch marks all over the marble bathroom countertop. Management was unprofessional and unapologetic to cap it off. read more
