Most mediocre cleaning services I had ever paid. I feel I got robbed $125 dollars + I left $25 dollars tip. I have pictures but can't upload them. Every single piece of furniture was dusty as hell, you could see they only dusted the front area, front area. The kitchen floor had stains spots and crumbs in every corner. I paid extra for the bathroom antibacterial treatment and when I came back home there was hair (my wife and from my shaving) in the tub, sink and I won't even mention behind the toilet. The porch was exactly the way I left it, they didn't took the trash out. And I could keep going but you have the idea. I wrote an email to the support group and the told me they will send someone again without charge, they gave us a few options and we picked Monday 18 and the window time was from 11:30 to 4pm, we both work, so I spoke with my mother in Law and she made arrangements in her part time job so she could be home for "Accessmaids", after almost 5 hours waiting for them, I got an email at 4pm telling me they just saw my replay, from 3 days ago, and they were not going to make it. I used AccessMaids for about a year, and during that year I never felt completely satisfied or dissatisfied with their cleaning. The company has a great website and a good pitch, but try dealing with the Russian/Ukrainian guy who manages the company and you'll eventually get fed-up with arrogant and surly service like I did. The girls he would send were fine...not terrific or overly friendly. But here are a few things that I found problematic: 1. Sergei, the owner, usually sent me two girls to do my small apartment. It didn't need two girls, but that's how they got done so quickly. The only problem is that AccessMaids charges by the girl, and by the time...and there are minimums. So if one week Sergei scheduled three girls, I would be charged for three girls and also be charged the minimum for all three girls--even though they'd be in and out very quickly--not cool. One week I might be charged $60 for two girls, another week with more girls, I'd be charged $90. 2. Even though I got weekly cleaning, Sergei could never pinpoint a time the girls would arrive unless I called the afternoon of the day before my usual day (I preferred Saturdays, which for some reason always seemed to create a scheduling problem for Sergei). This would be madness because lots of times, they might fluctuate between morning or afternoon. God forbid I should complain about why I couldn't be scheduled the same week to week...Sergei would just tell me to go to another service. 3. If I ever complained about one of AccessMaids' girls for poor cleaning, Sergei's first line of apologizing would be to cancel ME! There were a few occasions Sergei would say, "I'm sorry, but I can't send anyone else to you..." He has absolutely no customer service training. I kept picturing Sergei as a Danny Devito-like character from the tv show "Taxi" running things. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I ordered the "Super Spring Cleaning" with base board + fridge cleaning, and got a quick tidy up. When I got back to my apartment after the cleaning women had "finished", I could barely tell the difference from when I left. They pretty much made my bed, took out the trash, and cleaned the toilet. Probably would have taken me about 15 minutes to do. The rest of my place was left completely untouched coffee table, kitchen table, stove, shower, ALL floors, all counter tops, etc. I have a strange feeling the women left my apartment after less than 20 minutes with little to no care whatsoever. I have contacted the company and have yet to hear back, but it's only been a few hours. I pray they take responsibility and send a new cleaning crew ASAP during a time that fits within my hectic schedule (hence the need for a cleaning service). Hired AccessMaids to do a COVID cleaning prior to a new tenant move. Cleaning crew arrived nearly 2 hours off the scheduled booking time (with no notice or apology). Crew forgot to clean the oven, as instructed, and managed to leave etch marks all over the marble bathroom countertop. Management was unprofessional and unapologetic to cap it off. read more

I can't even begin to start with all the reasons I won't use them again but here is a brief breakdown: 1st clean: realized they didn't clean any of the kitchen counter tops, appliances, or the floor. Which were our main reasons for the cleaning. 2nd re clean: they offer re cleans free of charge; not kidding they came for 15mins ( I asked my front desk to let me know when they came and left). Apartment was untouched again. They washed my dishes and made the blanket on the couch...nothing else was touched. So confused. 3rd re clean: literally same thing as the second clean. Expect this time they decided to take my pillows from under my table and put them on my couch? Why, I'm not sure. Did the basic cleaning for a 1 bed 1 bath which came to about $100 (not including tip) for two cleaners. I was very pleased with AccessMaids. Since moving to a new apartment in July, I've struggled to find a service that was easy to book, and that communicated clearly. The online process was seamless, and I received plenty of confirmations along the way, which is more than I can say for other services I booked in the past, that left me wondering if they were actually coming. Day of, I received a phone call and a text that they were on their way, and a text when they arrived. I was on calls for work, and the team that arrived was immediately respectful of that, and started working right away, quietly and professionally. The cleaning job was thorough, and the difference was quite noticeable. The apartment smelled great after, and I could tell the team really cared about doing their best. Unfortunately, I'll be discontinuing working with accessmaids after being a regular customer for over a year. The quality of the cleaning has gone significantly down hill over the past year, to the point where things are obviously not cleaned. I've tried to work with management (sending pictures of dirty counters, sinks, floors, you name it) and they never remedy the issue, give a refund, and we don't see improvement from week to week. Further, we pay for a start time of 2-4pm and they consistently come hours earlier (often at 12pm when I am in a virtual meeting for work and my dog is still home) and despite my addressing the issue with management repeatedly, it continues to happen. While some of the cleaners are great, you never know who you're going to get and the quality plus apathy from management is simply too problematic to justify use of their services. I'd suggest going with another company. read more

I called Access on the recommendation of a friend and I should have turned to Yelp first. I had the same terrible experience everyone else talks about. I hired them for a move-in clean - empty unit that we were moving in to: (1) Scheduling was confusing and I lost of day of work because they sent me an email saying they'd be at the new place between 10a-11am. At 11:30 I tried reaching out and couldn't get ahold of them through the two numbers on their website or their email. I got through using Facebook Messenger and the dude at the end wasn't the nicest. He said I checked "flexible arrival" - which I did - but the email with the time frame said nothing about that. Why would I not believe that email?! (2) The cleaners were very nice, but none of them spoke English enough for me to communicate our requests and I honestly have no idea what they did. We primarily needed the floors cleaned and they didn't touch them. The things they did clean were sparkling! (Oven, Kitchen Sink, Toilets...) But there were huge parts of the house they just didn't do. I suspect this was a miscommunication. Please make that easier, Access! The ladies get the two stars I've put here! (3) The dude driving the women around made me uncomfortable. (4) When I called to complain about my experience, they told me they would come back but they didn't do refunds. We were moving so didn't have time to have them come back. We thought they weren't going to charge us in the end, after some unpleasant phone calls with a super angry dude, but then 8 days later they processed the charge and we couldn't stop payment. Nope. We really needed to have our apartment cleaned after getting rid of lots of furniture/clothes etc. They arrived in the middle of their allotted window (2-4 and arrived at 3pm) and had all the supplies needed. I was surprised there were three of them. Our apartment left sparkling clean. I really like how they use a designated driver. Best move in service ever! We bought a 2 bed/1 bath loft and the owners left the place a totally mess. Their was grease all over the kitchen and appliances, floors were a mess, bathroom, cabinets, drawers, etc. You name it, it was dirty. My fiancée and I have been traveling extensively and didn't have time to tackle it ourselves and we gave them a call. Online booking process was super easy and they came in on time with a print out of what I wanted done. It is not the cheapest option but they did an amazing job. I cannot tell you what a difference they made. First off they came an hour or so late. They did a decent job cleaning, but seemed to be fighting with each other quite a bit. Then they left without even saying goodbye. I figured they were going to give me a receipt or a chance to pay. Well then 3 days go by and the charge appears on my credit card. I was charged 110$ for 2 ladies for 2 hours... when I called to see why I was charged this I got the following information: 9.99 for the green cleaning option (said to be free on the site) 21.49 per hour per lady. Charged at 2:15 instead of 2 hours. 4.9% surcharge for using a credit card The site states a 5% discount for paying cash.... apparently their quoted prices are for cash. They wiped all the countertops and cleaned inside the microwave. They even have a service to wipe down the baseboards! They are my monthly cleaning service now. Two stars for customer service on the phone, though. I called asking for payment options on the phone because the website was lacking some information. The gentleman on the phone was rude. My wife and I hired AccessMaids to do a move-out cleaning of our 700 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment. They quoted about $100 for two people to clean for roughly two hours. The first thing that troubled us was that they sent 3 people (more than they quoted). They cleaned for two hours and the final bill was over $150. We called to complain, once seeing our credit card bill, and Sergei explained to us that they needed 3 people and it was quicker because of it. Ridiculous. I can't imagine our place needing 3 people for two hours. My wife and I could have done it in 2 hours. The second thing that irked us was that one of the maids left her purse in our place and we had to arrange to meet them afterwards to pick it up. Not a big deal, but it took time away from us setting up our new place and they didn't even apologize for their mistake. The final thing that leads to their bad review is that the cleaning was incomplete. We asked specifically for certain things to be cleaned and they were not done. The last time I used them, they came earlier than I had asked. They asked if they could start then. I said no. I wasn't even home. Months pass, and then I get a notice that I am being turned over to a collection agency!!! Not a word after that first call where I said I wouldn't pay for time they weren't there. Then, when I speak to the guy in charge, he flips out and yells. It's my fault they overcharged? I NEVER said I wouldn't pay for the time they were there, even though I wasn't happy this time. He should see from my past appointments that I had never disputed anything or complained before. After much yelling, I said what I would agree to pay (still too much-- I stand by that they did not do the hours they claim, as does my brother who watched them). He agreed to that, and we dropped it. We were literally screaming. The shame is, they had me as a customer, but they lost me. A simple apology or willingness to work together would have avoided ALL of this. There are plenty of cleaning agencies across the city. We did the Spring Clean to have our place ready to sell. We did basic cleaning ahead of time so the cleaners would only need to do the nitty-gritty stuff like baseboards, tub, dusting, inside oven, etc. It seemed like a no-brainer that it would take them only an hour or so to do some basic scrubbing. Bottom line: they suck. Not only were they insanely expensive, but I guess that I expected to have a real cleaning person do the work. Not some slacker that didn't even dust the tops of my pictures. AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR SEVEN HOURS TOTAL (2.5 per maid) and had little to show for it! I still have dirty baseboards, I still see cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, and my carpet smells gross after they shampooed it. It certainly doesn't look much cleaner and it wasn't really dirty to begin with. I could have done better in seven hours! A blind monkey could have done better in seven hours! My fiancee and I have used these guys every week for the past couple of years. They are always on time and do a good job cleaning. They are actually pretty flexible. I sometimes have to ask them to cut down the appointment length when they arrive and they are happy to do so. I've also found it very easy to rearrange or suspend service when I'm out of town. Do be aware that they will give you a window for arrival, usually an hour's slot. We schedule them for their first appointment in the day to ensure that we don't have to wait. I get the feeling that the negative reviews are based somewhat on misunderstandings. If you do get 3 maids, you can't assume that one will be free. Ask the maids to finish the job in a shorter time. The girls arrived with huge attitudes. My roommate showed them the missed spots. We walked away to get ready come back out minutes later the girls are gone. We called Sergio he told us to book online and he would give us an hours of free cleaning we asked for a confirmation he said we didn't need one mention it in the comments section he would remember. We went to schedule the cleaning and Sergio told he would never offer that surprise surprise! What they did clean was cleaned well but the bad experience with Sergio and the cleaning crew overshadowed the entire experience. While I hate to one star a business, they've earned it. I booked them for a move in clean and requested additional services such as: fridge interior, oven interior, cabinet interior, and ceiling fans. They make it really easy to check what you want online and just charge for the extra time. Great. Except the girls were over an hour late. I left them a key in case because I had somewhere to be. They said they'd call when they left. Except, they never called. After three hours I couldn't believe they'd still be there (in my completely empty place) so I circled back to check and yep, they were gone. And they didn't leave the key, nor turn off the fans or a/c that I left on for them-both things we discussed! I check out the place and my fans were still dirty, as was my oven, and toilet. My cabinets were not wiped down. I tried contacting the business multiple times to talk to someone about the work and to get my key back. The mailbox was full and not accepting messages. Finally I was able to leave one and magically my key showed up but no one called to discuss the crappy job they charged me for. I even texted asking for someone to call me. I got the charge on my card for a full three hours even though I knew they were gone before then. Shady. Bottom line: I'd never be desperate enough to deal with them again. read more
