After being hit while parked in the Berkeley Bowl parking lot, I researched local shops extensively, visited two others, and got multiple estimates--but my experience at those shops was underwhelming. Then I called Accurate Auto Body, inspired by their glowing reviews, and I can personally say they earned every one of them! Don, who does estimates, was incredible. He listened carefully to all my concerns, explained my options (including bumper replacement), and even advised me against additional repairs I was considering, telling me they just weren't worth the cost to me. Who does that in the auto body industry?! Don also went above and beyond to find an OEM bumper for me, transparently sharing the vendor details. He also agreed to touch up small paint chips on my doors and roof as part of the job without any additional cost! Wow! The new bumper looks fabulous! I was really concerned that the color would be different from the original and that it would always bother me, which I discussed with Don. He totally understood and told me he had a background in automotive painting and that he would personally make sure they achieved the best color match possible. The bumper is a little darker than the original, and it looks very good. I was really relieved when I saw it--both the color and the fit! Now my car looks wonderful. Thank you, Accurate Auto Body! They also made the rental process effortless through their arrangement with Enterprise. Awhile back I had a senior moment and drove my car into a fence post in my driveway. After months of crying every time I saw the dent, I decided to bite the bullet and get it repaired. I already had a couple of estimates, so when the estimate came back a little lower than the others and because of Kevin's recommendation I went with AAB. I also had a request that they cut out the dent in the old hood, so I could hang it on the fencepost to remind me to be more careful. From the first minute we walked into the office to the minute we departed with our repaired auto, every person we encountered at every step of the way was 100% competent, attentive, friendly, and helpful. The process was explained very clearly to us, outlining what steps Accurate would take and putting us at ease about things we had anticipated needing to do, which they would do for us. We had previously visited another auto body repair shop nearby and the difference was immediately obvious to us. We were initially anxious when we arrived, wary of being taken advantage of, and the professions, from the receptionist, to the agent, to the owner, immediately put us at ease and inspired confidence in their ability to competently and fairly handle our claim. This initial feeling was reconfirmed again and again throughout the process. The service was top-notch, five-star, the repair work was perfect, and there were even unexpected extras, such as the gift bag they presented us upon leaving, to finding not only the damaged area repaired, but also another area which had been scraped also appeared brand new even though we had not expectation that they would do that, and finally to finding that our car interior had been vacuumed before turning it over to us. It's the first time I use this workshop and I really wouldn't recommend it to take my car to this place and when they gave him the car the lock doors don't work and they say that the car was like this and they also broke my key and they say that it was also like this which is not true, they give me a new key and I have to pay separately to program it which is not fair if my car entered with a problem in the bumper they fixed it but they gave me another problem and it's not fair that's why I don't recommend this place!!! read more

Great customer service here. I was rear-ended a few years back, and they did a great job putting my bumper back together. I recently noticed that someone had backed into my front bumper causing it to loosen and create a noticeable gap of space. My car was hit not once, but twice in a month. A friend recommended Accurate Auto Body. I came in with 2 separate insurance claims. This meant extra paperwork for them in keeping the jobs separate. Everyone was so friendly and informative. Dan inspected the damage, prepared and provided a quote while I waited. The office staff called a couple days ahead of time to remind me of my appointment and made sure the date was still convenient. When I dropped it off to get the actual work down, they called the rental car company without me needing to ask. I was kept up to date on the progress of the repair, and when it took longer than anticipated, they called and explained the need for extra time. One day before the work was complete, I was given a heads up. This was perfect as it allowed me to plan out my work day. On the day of pick up I was notified on progress thru the day. Most important of all, my car looks beautiful. The work is top notice as is the service. My paperwork was waiting as was a nice goodie bag with snacks for my ride home. How thoughtful. They arranged to have my rental picked up, and I was able to hop in my car and head home. It is not fun being without your own vehicle.
