This shop is totally amazing. It is owned by Rick. His brothers worked with him as well. They did a great job on my Nissan Armada 2006. At first I was in just for an interior and exterior detail, but Tony adviced me to let them re-do the paint job of my car, it have a lot of scratches and detailing will not do anything. I was hesitant at first but good thing I took his advice. It was all paid by my insurance and all I need to pay for was my deductible which was not bad at all. They gave me a good deal PLUS they did an extra mile with my car. Some parts of my car were not covered by my insurance but they re-painted it too. Overall, I recommend this shop to anyone. My wife's car was repaired here years ago. This is the first place I thought of when my car was damaged. They do not disappoint and I am so glad I went to them first. The people at the shop are extremely friendly and they do great work. The owner is very responsive and helped me deal with the insurance company so that I don't need to. Excellent work and customer service. Needed my rear bumper worked on. The first shop I took it to wanted $1100 to repair and it would take at least three days. Ricky, the owner of Dream's, suggested replacing the bumper instead of repairing it. Said the price would be the same, and he would only need the car for an hour. I paid a deposit and arranged the date to install it. Ricky painted the new bumper, matched the paint exactly, and had it ready to install when I returned. It only took an hour like he said it would. My son got into an accident before New Years Day when some idiot cut in front of him by turning left while in a lane that was supposed to go straight. Anyway, since my son had dash cam video as proof that the other driver was at fault, the insurance process to get our vehicle fixed was pretty fast. I decided to try a different body shop for the repair this time around because last yearr when my son got into another accident, our insurance suggested the repair be done at Husteads in Berkeley. I was not happy with the experience at Husteads for a number of reasons. They had the car for almost a month, they were out of the way (I'm in PINOLE), they gave me the run around every time I called them and I found out later that they took short cuts in the repair of my sons car. I also went to another body shop in Pinole before I went to Dreams but that other shop was not able to start the repairs until 3 weeks later and we needed this donE ASAP. We then drove to Dream's and the owner Ricky helped us right away. I gave Ricky the estimate from my insurance company and he not only explained the process of getting our car fixed, Ricky walked us through it step by step. I felt that the estimate was way short of what it should be and Ricky agreed and told me that he would work wIth my insUrance to get a "supplement" to add the repairs that wasn't on the first estimate. Ricky also kept me updated with the repairs while our car was in his shop. As opposed to me calling him. While the whole experience with Dream's Auto Body was great, the best part was that it only took them 2 weeks to complete the repair. When we went to pick up our car it looked like it did when we bought it brand new. Ricky explained what they did and what was replaced on my sons car. He showed us the parts that were removed and let me take some of the parts that I thought can be reused again if needed. I could go on about the entire experience that I had with Dream's but there's just too much to mention. This shop made the miserable experience of dealing with an auto accident a lot easier and a lot less stressful. I hope that I won't be needing to get body work done again any time soon, but if I do, I will definitely be going to Dream's and no where else. read more

Despite the fact that our insurance company was being difficult about the coverage, Dream's Auto was able to convince the insurance company to pay for all the damages. Rick, the owner personally oversees every repair and goes way beyond any normal body shop to make sure his customers are happy. Examples of some of the extras on their repair of my Honda S2000: Touched up scratches on other parts of the car not related to the repair, cleaned up the rims where tire repairs had stained them, replaced a bumper rather than repairing it (I had to pay a little extra but it was worth it), polished the whole car to make it look like new. Rick's assistant Ciera is also great - helping make sure the interactions with the insurance company went smoothly. Plus she's really nice and easy on the eyes! I have to explain to you first, that I love my car. She and I have been through the height of the Dot-com's, the dot-bombs, a wedding, many road trips, and now a toddler. Yeah, she's almost over 10 years old, but I can't get rid of her. I was even offered a new car, but refused. How could I betray her? That said, the poor girl was in an accident last month. I wasn't the one driving, so my heart sank when I heard. (Oh yeah, the person driving was okay.) The front driver's side was all bent in. She looked awful and sad. So, we took her to Dream's Auto Collision and the owner, Rick, really took care of her. He was super honest, very communicative, and my car came back better than before! I almost thought she was a newer car when we got her back. There is no indication at all of where the accident was. Rick even painted the whole hood because he said there were some scratches there. She was also detailed, so she was very clean and shiny. I didn't find any crumbs embedded in the carpet, sticky goo from people's shoes, crackers in the seats, or greasy fingerprints on the windows. She was so clean, I didn't even want to drive her for a while. Rick not only got the repair done the right way, he took the extra effort and made her look awesome. Ricky is awesome to work with. My car was hit by a bus (luckily it was going very slowly so the damage was best case scenario) and the bus company's insurance was a pain to deal with. Ricky did all of the communication with the other party's insurance which would have been a waste of my time. The refused to pay for OEM parts, but Ricky went ahead and replaced all of the damaged parts with OEM parts. Really easy to work with and he called me constantly to give me an update. Each time I go, Rick always goes beyond what I ask for. Before I came here I was looking into Premier Auto Body. Rick is fair and flexible with his price and also personally I rather deal with the owner of the business rather than managers, etc. That's what makes Dream's Auto Collision stand out from the rest. Oh he also now owns a detail shop next door. He washed my car, clay, wax, and also cleaned and disinfected the interior, along with waxing the rims. Walking into an auto repair or body shop has never been an enjoyable experience for me until I walked into Dream's Collision Auto Center. The owner, Ricky, was on the phone when I arrived, but as soon as he was free, gave me his full attention. My Honda Insight was still drivable, but recently a Ford 150 truck backed into the front of it. Ricky surveyed the damage and then compiled a thorough preliminary estimate, which he gave me with his card stapled to it. Subsequently, I visited Dream's for the repair. I was impressed. The office is in the center, and the shop surrounds it. It's a busy shop, but because of the exceptional design, Ricky can focus on individuals. The people at these other shops either acted a bit sleezy or not professional enough, so I kept looking. At Dreams, Ricky treated me with kindness and a professional attitude, which I really appreciated. He showed me what needed repair and explained why too. He was thorough and patient and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I felt like he really knows what he's doing (which I couldn't say for the other local body shops I'd checked out). When I returned to pick up my car, I was amazed how good it looked! They had done a little extra repair work without charging me for it, just so that whole section of the car would look like new, and it did! And he also had saved the old damaged parts that had been replaced, to show them to me. Who is conscientious enough to even think this way? Ricky!!!!
