Wow, cannot believe how honest and reliable this shop is!!! I took my GMC to the dealer and they told me I needed a new motor for my seat as it was not going forward or backwards at a cost of around $650! Tony fixed it for under $200 and included a leak fix in an a/c line. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Marla is awesome as well! read more

Tony the owner told me that the repair on my Corvette's airconditioners' acctuator would be cheap! Well he charged me over 3 times the national price like $663.28,, when the national average is between$163 and $190! I think he's a crook! Thin he sent me over to his radio guy at Street Toys! He told James that the car had radio problems, which it did not. James cut 2 wires from the glove box which the light was draining the battery! For cutting 2 wires this mooron charged me $400.00 The radio keep comming on even after the car was turned off; James said that was normal for a Chevy, so why did he bother with the radio when he knew it was operating properly? Stay away from Accurate Automotive Specialists unless you want to be cheated!!! read more

Tony was referred to me by a friend years ago & has been meeting my servicing needs ever since. He doesn't really have to advertise since he is booked solid on word of mouth. 2 recent examples of Tony's integrity. I took my vehicle to him over a year ago when our A/C went out & the dealership wanted to charge me $200 just for the drain & evac; then quoted between $200-$400 for the fix. $600!!!!!!!! REALLY? Took it to Tony & he said he knew exactly what it was as he had already had a few of my car make come in with the same problem. Just needed a little inexpensive part. He put it on & had me in & out in less than an hour for around $60 parts & labor! Last year I took my car to Tony for a bad wheel bearing & got a $330 something quote. Well, we drove it for a year & then the noise & vibration got much worse & annoying, so we took it back in to Tony yesterday to finally get it fixed. He charged me the same quote he gave me last year, even though it was obviously a lot worse & a lot more work for him to rectify. I even got a superb oil change added in to this price. So it was basically free. Take your car to Tony if you want it done fast, right, & inexpensive. Also, 1 little secret is that the local dealerships & other car shops send cars to Tony for him to fix them when they can't. He is "THE MAN!" Also, a trustworthy guy, that if you accidentally left a wad of cash in your car it would probably still be there upon your car being returned. Tony is great, I've had several things worked on in the past ranging from replacing a side mirror to timing belts, alternator & top radiator tank /hose replaced. He even checked to make sure my motor wasn't damaged before working on the radiator. I highly recommend them. read more

My car broke down while I was in Gainesville for a doc. appt. Had it towed here on the recommendation of a friend. They not only diagnosed and repaired the car in short order AT A GREAT PRICE, but found several other problems which they repaired or adjusted at no charge. After I had retrieved the car Tony called me to tell me everything he had done, thank me for the business, and wish me a good day. Wow! That's not all. I needed a rental so I could go to work on Thursday night, but Hertz was out of cars and Enterprise won't take a debit card without a utility bill. I was in Gainesville to purchase a car and wanted to have it checked out by an independent mechanic first. It was getting late in the day so around 4:45pm I called Accurate Automotive and spoke with Marla who was very sweet and helpful. She said they were really busy but I could come in the morning, however when I mentioned I was from Atlanta she talked with Tony and they agreed they would fit me in. Very impressive and very kind considering they would be closing in about an hour. I arrived around 5:30pm and they got right to work test driving and inspecting the car for me. The price was very reasonable- half of what another nearby shop quoted me (and they said they would need 2-3 hours!). Luckily the car checked out and I was out the door on my way to purchase it 30 minutes later. Tony and Marla are both very genuine, kind and helpful people and I am glad to have found their business! Bonus points for being a dog friendly establishment- I had a great time chatting with Marla and playing with their two adorable Golden puppies while I waited! read more

While travelling three states from home our vehicle broke down. This shop had several great ratings so we called and left a message after hours.At 8 o'clock the next morning Tony called us back. He helped us trouble shoot what was going on over the phone and identified a transmission problem. He told us how much a new transmission would cost at his shop and gave us another option. A transmission place in Oakwood that could rebuild it for less. We were so pleased with his recommendation and his honesty about the type of repair work and cost. I called Accurate Auto because of their great online reviews. My car is 14 years old and has a tiny oil leak. I called Marla and set a diagnostic appointment. I dropped off the car @ 8 AM and received a call three hours later. Tony said the engine had to be removed and turned upside down in order to repair the oil pan gasket, and I should take it to the dealer for repairs, which would have cost a small fortune. He said if it were him, he would just keep an eye on the oil level, since the leak is very small. I agreed. Tony and marla are terrific business partners, who are fair and actually care about the customer. Their Golden Retrievers are sweet too. Now I can say I have a great trustworthy mechanic and this is where I'll be taking my car for all my tune ups. What a fantastic experience! read more
