Requested a quote for catalytic converter replacement. Owner replied they do not replace them. However, he recommended to use an engine cleaner that would clean the oxygen sensor that would turn off the check engine light. Never have I had a service garage offer alternatives to a requested repair. Texted me a few times about the cleaner and how it worked for him on his personal vehicles. read more

They don't "keep records" and they don't care if you bought your tires there or not - free flat tire fixing! I did purchase them there but still tipped the tech for helping to repair it. Tire costs are very competitive but you have to order specialty tires ahead of time like everywhere else. read more

My car hadn't been sounding or driving well being up there in the miles. A lot of vibration in the cabin & tire noise up front after rotation lead to wheel bearings needed to be replaced. I took a 2015 Audi for brakes and an oil change. Brought the car home and later discovered a significant oil leak. Took the car back the following day and they claimed it was a bad oil plug. Brought the car back home after the repair and it is still leaking a significant amount of oil. Ivelost confidence in them to diagnose/fix the issue that they have caused. I will be contacting them in the morning to have the car repaired by qualified service personnel. read more

Brought my car in to get my timing belt replaced and oil changes. Staff kept me notified of everything going on. Unfortunately additional problems occurred and had to bring it back in. They made sure to correct every issue and didn't charge me for the extra labor they put in. Technician was great and made sure I was happy with final result. I would give zero stars if I could. They completely scammed me and gave me a damaged tire not once- but twice. I called asking for a specific tire size and they said they could get it within the hour. I dropped the car off two hours before closing and said I'd come get it in the morning. The man at the counter asked if I wanted them to see if they could patch it to save me money or just replace it. I thought that was really nice of them, so I said if you can patch it great, if not please replace. I then asked what the quality of the tire was. He said it was mid to high quality. When I came to pick up the car with my boyfriend the new tire was damaged/flat. They said they put it on wrong and came back out and attempted to glue the tire to the rim to fix the issue. We left and not even 12 hours later we were stuck with a flat on the side of the road and had to get it towed back to the store. The tow truck man said that they had pasted the inside of a previously damaged tire and sold it to us. He said he's seen it before. The next morning they said they fixed it and were sorry and we picked it up and left. TODAY- it's not even two weeks later, and the second tire they gave us is flat and falling off of the rim. I will never recommend letting this company touch your car. read more

I will not buy tires or have an oil change done anywhere else but here!! These guys are awesome! They are quick to help and please and they do a great job! I even learned something new at my most recent visit! I have gotten used tires at least twice from them and the first time I did have a problem they fixed it quickly! I also had a concern this time but they explained it to me and as soon as I drove off what they told me happened. Which is a good thing. The owner is very nice and the guy behind the counter just a nice! When my kids come they are always excited to see the kitty. I recommend North Hall Tire to anyone and everyone! The only reason I bring my car to the dealership is because of the warranty but if I didn't have a warranty I would have North Hall tire do whatever work I needed done that they do there. read more

I recently had to have a lower ball joint replaced and an alignment on my grand marquis. The guys got on it , and with only a reasonably wait time had the replacement ball joint pressed in and the alignment complete. the total bill was a reasonable amount. They do a good job, and the prices are super fair. The parking lot is full of clients so that should tell you they do have a good reputation. The owner is a nice guy willing to work with clients. We got a very fair price on strut and alignment work that other less reputable places wanted to charge three times over. The job was done quickly. We dropped the car off at 1:00 pm and it was ready by noon the next day. The place is nothing fancy and the lobby teeny tiny. But they have benches outside to sit in. If you have to wait and have time to spare you can always take a short hike to the nearby park where you'll go through a cemetery and end up on a trail right on Lake Lanier. read more

These folks are the best. Good, honest and fair pricing. Pretty timely as well. I got a new set of Firestones on my truck (best price in town, BTW) with them a while back and noticed yesterday there was nail in one. I came in on a busy Friday morning to get it plugged. They were covered up. Could barely find a place to park. Regardless, Dusty put someone on my truck immediately and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Oh, and did I mention no charge? I took my truck to get my tires balanced they told me my ball joint where bad. So when I got home my husband when to change them. But could not get the lugs off they where cross threaded on both front tires had to have them cut off having to replace the whole studs and nuts an out all this money thanks to North Hall tire I would not recommend them to anyone read more

LOVED this place and wouldn't have ever imagined going somewhere else; however, not sure what has changed in the past year or less but the service has declined. Went there early on the year for new wheels and tires, great deal. Two days later discovered loose wheel lug and one was also missing. Replaced, retightened everything myself. Maybe a fluke event. Went back to have all the front end steering worked on, upper/lower ball joints replaced, new tie rod ends, etc. Left and steering was terrible. I finally discovered that my Pittman arm nut was loose on the steering pump. Retightened, torqued myself. That one irritated me. Finally today, called to get lined up for a simple tire rotation/balance. Expressed on the phone that I only had my lunch hour and if they didn't have time to squeeze me in, no big deal at all. Was told they could get me in no problem. After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes I heard a lady complain about having been charged $10 to install wiper blades on her car.....that isn't right and added frustration to me. So, I ended my unexpected wait and I'll have to search for someone else, or do it myself. Great, to good, to maybe not so good because they are over their capacity. Wish they could have gotten things under control, was a good place. read more

These boys have always been good to my family and I over the years when we come in for tires, alignments, etc. Once I placed a hold on a set of tires for my TransAm over the phone and between the time I got off the phone and got up there, someone had sold them. So the guy I spoke with cut me a deal on a better set of tires, all I had to do was wait for the shipment to arrive about 30 minutes later and he waived the disposal fees for my trouble.
