Unfortunately, that decision has caused me nothing but problems. Last year, I experienced roof leaks that led to damage inside my home. What followed was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. It took multiple emails to Tyler Morgan and numerous phone calls with different employees just to get someone to come out. The first person they sent told me there was nothing wrong with my roof and that they don't cover interior damage. After reviewing my roofing warranty, I found that statement to be completely false. After reaching out again, they finally sent a second contractor. He was great, seemed knowledgeable, and "fixed" both the roof and the interior damage. I felt relieved at the time--but that didn't last. Now, I'm dealing with water damage again in the exact same spot, plus a new area nearby. I first reached out to Tyler on March 16 and have since sent four additional emails with zero response. I also called on March 19 and spoke with a receptionist who assured me someone would come out the next day to take photos. No one showed up, and no one followed up. Since then, I've called over 20 times and have gotten absolutely nowhere. At this point, the lack of communication is unacceptable. The customer service is the worst I've experienced. It genuinely feels like they are avoiding me to get out of honoring their warranty and paying for the damage. My warranty expires in September. I will be getting this resolved one way or another, and if I don't hear back by next week, I will be pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually stands behind their work.

However they were very professional and offered to do a roof inspection for me. After the inspection, they informed me that my roof was damaged and that they could work with my insurance company to get my roof replaced. They did most of the work with my insurance company and even showed up when the adjuster came over. I was approved for a roof, gutter and downspout replacements. They scheduled me right away. They installed my roof in less than a week after my claim had been settled. They came over a couple of days before install and showed me tile color samples to choose from. They then walked me through the process and answered my questions. My primary point of contact was Billie. He and all the other reps that I dealt with were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, accessible and helpful throughout the entire process. I did not have to be home for the install. They completed everything while I was out of town, keeping my informed along the way. The instatltion could not have been better timed. The finished the day before we got some heavy snow. Funny story, My neighbor was getting his roof done the day after mine and they had to stop in the middle of the install and put a tarp on the unfinished portion of the roof because of the heavy snow that we were getting. They did a quick sweep after my roof replacement was done, but I still found some nails, gutter screws and cut aluminum around my yard. I also found a piece of old shingle, that was visible from the street, sitting on top of a crosshead in front of my house that was visible. I ended up climbing up the 16 feet to remove it myself. I am happy with how everything turned out and how Showtime and my insurance company worked together to get me a new roof. These guys were great and I recommend them.

No respectable veteran would act or allow people on their watch to act like this.

Elk Roofing came highly recommended to me by a general contractor/handyman I have used for smaller…read morejobs around my home. I had a leak in the roof near my chimney flashing, and the job required more expertise than my handyman felt he had. I had a few larger roofing companies come out to give estimates, and all were either unwilling to do smaller jobs or had prices that seemed far too high for a relatively minor leak repair that was almost certainly caused by sealant failure. Elk came out within a couple days of my initial call (this was a minor leak and did not require immediate repair) and performed a thorough inspection of my roof. They agreed with my assessment that the leak was relatively minor and due to sealant failure, although they noted that some of the decking surrounding the leak would need replacement. They provided a very reasonable estimate, which included the full cost of materials. I hired Elk for the job and all work was completed within the week. Elk removed the shingles from the surrounding area and replaced the damaged decking with new plywood. They even took the time to match my shingles perfectly, ensuring that the repair would not be visible, and did a superior job flashing the chimney. It has been more than six months since the repair and I have had no further issues. After the job was complete, Elk took the time to help me store the excess shingles and plywood in my backyard shed, just in case they are needed for future repairs. As a bonus, they were less expensive than any of the big roofing companies I had out, and the contractor who did my job seemed far more experienced/knowledgeable than the technicians who provided my initial estimates. I was very pleased with the prompt, professional work I received and would definitely hire Elk again!
