A couple days ago my husband and I broke down hauling our boat home. We were in a very precarious spot on the side of a busy road. It was a very difficult tow because the axles on one side of the boat trailer broke , and we lost the wheels! This company is completely unethical and I would give them 0 stars if I could. They have a sickening scheme going on. They wait for people to park their cars in the parking lot (by Spirits and ShopRite) on Route 37 in Toms River and use hidden cameras to tow them immediately without listening to reasoning. My wife and I went to Panera Bread for lunch and after that she parked her car in an empty spot facing Route 37, with no other cars in that area whatsoever. We needed to go somewhere for about an hour so I picked her up from that spot and we intended to go to ShopRite, Staples and Spirits for shopping when we returned. When we arrived we were astonished to see that her car was missing. We called the police and they told us it was towed by Accurate towing which is just across that parking lot. We went to Accurate and showed them the receipt from Panera that proved we were shopping at that shopping center, and explained the above. They rudely told us they have a video of us leaving our car and that we will not get our car back unless we pay them $150 cash or, if we use a credit card, we need to sign a release that we will not get our money back from the credit card company. I told them that I will pay by credit card but will not sign any such document, which is absolute coercion! They said we won't get our car back unless we do so. Several times one of the 2 "gentleman" got up in a threatening manner and screamed at me to get out of the office. The other man that was there literally sat him down. I stepped out to talk to the parking lot manager who was just as rude and hung up on me. My wife was so scared and upset by this entire experience so she paid them with her card and signed the credit card release form when I was outside. Only then did they bring the car out and we left. This is plain coercion! Not only will I never use this company again for anything (including AAA towing), I will also never go to any of the stores in that shopping center. I'm sure the stores have nothing to do with this abhorrent action but obviously the parking lot manager (not sure if he's the shopping center owner or not) directed this towing company. If I could give 0 stars I would. Last night, truck number 504 (I believe - maybe 540?), was patrolling around Mariners Cove apartment complex at around 11/11:30pm. He was driving around at about 5mph with NO lights on. I stepped out to tell him to turn on his headlights and he said "go back into your f**king house, I'm just doing my job." I then said I pay to live here and he replied "good, then you have nothing to worry about." Is this how your company rolls? Absolutely disgraceful. I went to find a fishing hole up in the Pine Barrens by Crystal Lake and took a wrong turn, hit an embackment and my car was about a foot in the sand, front and back. I go to use my cell phone, and of course no service in the Pine Barrens. Thank God for my Lab, she guided me out, about a 2 hour walk home. Called Accurate and Anthony said we will be right out. I said too tired, it's dark, lets try tomorrow. He showed up 8AM at my house and we started. I had an idea where the car was but being my first time in the area I had to go off all memory. At 60 that it is task. We got lost because of my directions and Anthony corrrected me and said, "I think you turned right back there, I see tracks of a car." He was correct. We went about another 3 miles and found the car stuck in a mountain of sand. Anthony perfectfly lifted the car out and manuevered past trees and rocks and got me on a path with absolutely no damage to my car, amazing! I followed him out and made it home no problem. I had a cylinder head job done here and it was the worst experience ever. They had my truck for 3 weeks and i got it back with more problems...no A/C, oil covered my whole engine bay, not all of the sensors were hooked back up and a lifter issue. Took it back to them and they had it for 5 more weeks and fixed the lifter issue but I still have motor oil spray all over my motor after taking it back 3 more times. Worst shop ever, and never get called back...especially after i paid over $2,000 cash!! W I would recommend nobody to get any work done at this shop...not even an oil change. read more

They told my fiancé and I to come on down and get our car, we get here and no ones here....I call the number they tell me to hold on someone was coming...20 minutes later nothing...40 minutes later I call back he tells me he will be there shortly....1 hour later we are still sitting here waiting for someone to show up. I was taking my Jeep off-road in Toms River and got it stuck in an excess of mud. Swampy and stuck, I didn't have any choice but to call GEICO for roadside assistance. Due to my car getting stuck in the woods and not on any paved road, GEICO's roadside assistance would not be able to assist me. They referred me to Accurate to have them use winch services to pull my car out of the puddle. Difficulty was that to do this a tow truck would have to follow unkempt utility roads littered with overgrown grass and low visibility. Accurate after a bit of warranted wait due to the trail being mostly unclear, they managed to pull my car out, and helped me turn around to go back to the road with no damage to the vehicle. That to me is an above and beyond commitment to service, and the conversation afterward of tips for off-roading is certainly something I'll keep in mind for the future. Lifesaver for a clearly inexperienced off-road driver. Will absolutely use again. read more

I just want to thank the overnight dispatcher and driver for taking care of my car after a 24 hour battle with AAA that resulted in me having to call over 7 times. The story: I live in NYC while my car lives in NJ at my parents near a well traveled road. During the snow storm on 1/7-1/8/17 no trucks were available to drag my car somewhere that was safe. My car had slipped into the road while the storm progressed and was even on chocks (for those of you that don't know what that is, it will hold an 18 wheeler and is just a metal thing you put under a tire from slipping). I called local police and 7 other towing companies besides AAA and no one could help get the car to where it wasn't a hazard to other drivers. This morning I called AAA for the 5th time, told them that accurate's dispatcher had he necessary equipment and they had to request them specifically. After about 2 different phone calls AAA kept saying that every one is refusing. I even asked if I could do a 3 way call with the tow company and they refused stating that they had other callers to take care of (side note: if you can't take care of one caller with an emergency how will you take care of others?). So now I call the tow and ask them to call for me, if the driver & dispatcher hadn't gone above and beyond my car would still be in the middle of the street where it could hurt someone. Thanks guys! This is a low class shady towing service. I was visiting my mother in the hospital Sunday night after working all weekend to try and get caught up on medical bills. She has been very ill and i wanted to see her for 15 minutes before visiting hours ended. I parked next door to the hospital in a parking lot of an office that was completely closed to any business. Not another car in the entire lot. I just wanted to save myself a few minutes of walking as I had very little time to see my mom. 20 minutes later my car is gone! WHY??? There was nobody else in the entire lot. I was harming no one. I went over to the yard immediately to find I was being charged $281 to get my car back! I tried to plead with the owner that I was visiting my mother who is very ill and to please help me in ANY way. He didn't even acknowledge me. ZERO compassion. This is clearly a scam with this towing company and the security service across the street. Why would there be a tow truck called immediately to remove a car from a lot that wasn't even being used??? I was there 20 minutes, tops! There will be an investigation done and I am going to the media about this, to shed light on why they are doing this and who's pockets are being lined. While I was there getting my car released there was a young boy and girl sobbing in the office because they had also gotten robbed for money that they clearly didn't have to get their car back. When I visited their facility the next day to retrieve some personal property, it seems that I happened to drop my wallet in the yard next to my vehicle. In the process of contacting my Lawyer. It is New Jersey State law that a private towing company can only charge half plus town standard pricing. Toms River for class II vehicle is 200.00 plus the half. Total should have $300.00. I was charged $600.00. The other law is your vehicle must be parked for 1Hr unless blocking road or driveway. I was visiting my new Grandson and was in room 10min before I received text from my son that my car was being towed. For everyone's info.
