I called the number listed here on Yelp and was answered by a colleague of Rick who immediately forwarded by number and name. Less than 5 minutes later I got a call from Rick. He has a mobile service so he comes to your location (in Baton Rouge). We agreed to meet in a parking lot next to the building I work at. Rick is very knowledgeable and cares about the quality of his work. He explained the process involved and provided a little bit of knowledge about a glass windshield, how they are laminated, and what layer was actually damaged by the rock chip. The process took about 20 min including a call to my insurance for a claim #. There was small evidence about the rock chip only if you look carefully. Rick did an awesome job! The repair was about $50, which was way better than Safelite's price of $110 without tax (just for a chip?!). Just for record, I drive a 2010 Camry. Rick was mobile and did the repair at my home (he came to me!). Not only did he work me in same day, but he was punctual as he promptly arrived at my house on time during peak rush hour time. He was professional and a great conversationalist. I'd highly recommend him and his work. Afterward, I got a baggy of candy with my receipt and laminated business card for my windshield needs. I would highly recommend Rick for any windshield repair. He recently did a great job with repairing the 2 rock chips I had on my new car's windshield, one of which has a fairly large round highly visible air pocket associated with the rock chip within the double layered laminated glass. The two cracks were not visible after the repair, with the glass only showing two tiny dings where the rock actually chipped off part of the glass surface. Moreover, Rick was prompt and very courteous. Within the last year, his Google listing was "hijacked", with his business address somehow changed to another outfit in New Orleans. It took him a while to correct that and re-establish his business name with Google search. However, this reset and wiped out all the high/stellar reviews of his business on Google that he has accumulated over the past several years. In other words, he has to start from scratch to rebuild his reputation. read more

I'm in the Baton Rouge area and I called Rick and he came out instantly! I had a huge crack in my windshield that came from the impact of a rock from an 18 wheeler. I called and he came to me!!!
