After looking at it, they informed me that they had patched the tire but recommended that I replace it as soon as possible. I was confused because if the tire was safe, why would i need to replace the tire soon? the next day , I took my vehicle to another tire shop for a second opinion. I was shocked when they informed me that the tire was hazardous and unsafe to drive on. Learning that I had been sent back onto the road with a tire in that condition was extremely upsetting and could have put my safety, as well as the safety of others, at risk. I was advised to contact the supervisor at Tire Choice in The Villages regarding my concerns. Unfortunately, I was met with one of the most rude, dismissive, and unprofessional supervisors I have ever encountered. Rather than addressing my legitimate safety concerns, he told me to "consult with my father," a comment that I found incredibly inappropriate, disrespectful, and sexist. I escalated my complaint to corporate, expecting the matter to be taken seriously. However, no meaningful action was taken, and I received no compensation or resolution for this incident. The lack of accountability from both the local management and corporate office was deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, I would never recommend that anyone do business with this facility. If customer safety, professionalism, and respect are important to you, I strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere.

BUT... they gave me the check valve part number off their screen to order myself and save... I orded on ebay and after 10 days of waiting (can't drive) it was the WRONG PART! They gave me the incorrect part number for my Toyota T100! GAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa...... Sometimes it just pays to go to the toyota dealer and have them fix it. They said, while I don't have to replace them right now, I should consider it in the next couple months. They were quoting me around $1300. I only drive this car about 4k miles a year. I had heard good things about Mavis and decided to drop in on a Saturday to ask them to look at my tires. The manager was able to come outside and look at my tires. He said, yes they have minor cracking but nothing urgent. He asked about how much I drove the car, etc. I also have run flat tires (it came with them) and he said - based on how I drive and how much, that I probably shouldn't replace with the run flats. That I could save some money, also, given how little I drive it. I don't need super high mileage tires, as they'll rot before I wear them out. He said, as much as I'd like to sell you tires right now - I'd be doing you a disservice. I SO APPRECIATED his honesty. I told him when I do need new ones, I'll definitely come back to them. He told me come back in about 6 months so they can check them again. I asked for a ball park on a full set of tires and he told me maybe $800-900. I was just really impressed with their honesty and integrity. I will be taking my car there when it's ready for new tires. They also do all kinds of repairs too. I will never forget how well he and his team treated her. Fast forward to today. Vaughn passed away a few years ago, and his loss was deeply felt in this community. They're not pushing anything on me like most the places in Florida. For instance, the dealer wants to replace my mother-in-law's tires that are in the yellow. They've got 20,000 mi on them and they're rated at 70,000, mi. But they're trying to scare the old lady and take advantage of them. I don't trust the dealers around here. Sorry, I'm from California, Hawaii, Colorado, Florida and Arizona. I've never had a worse experience than dealers in Florida. Highly recommend this place
