I had used bigger plumbing companies in the past, but my favorite plumber left and I didn't like how they send out a new plumber for every job. Some weren't as good as others. 2 days ago, we noticed a small puddle on the Master bathroom tile floor. It appeared after we used the shower and I didn't think anything of it at first, just assumed some water sprayed out during showering. When it appeared again the next night, I knew something was definitely wrong and when I touched the dry wall behind and next to the shower, it was actually soft. Reached out to AccuServe Plumbing and Drain because my 18 year old water heater started leaking at the top near one of the fittings. Because of the type of problem, it forced us to shut off our water so our garage wouldn't flood not to mention the water waste. Not only did Mike respond the same day, but knowing our situation he was able to get us scheduled in that morning to provide an estimate. He and Shane arrived on time and were extremely professional. I had an urgent work situation which forced me to let my wife handle talking to them and getting the quote. They treated her with respect and did not make her feel uncomfortable or feeling like she was getting taken advantage of. That's one of the highest compliments I can give when it comes to getting certain repairs done. Mike gave us a quote for the water heater replacement as well as suggestions to get our setup up to the current code as we did not have a thermal expansion tank or the third support strap installed (because in 2006 it wasn't required). He offered us his quote and encouraged us to shop it around, which I of course did. We ended up going with Mike/AccuServe Plumbing and Rain to do the replacement. I also noticed a ball valve/shut off valve that I believed to not be operational, and although they verified it was working normally, out of an abundance of caution they went ahead and replaced it at no charge. After installing the water heater, Mike tested our water pressure to ensure everything was going to stay working well. Turns out our pressure was high and he suggested replacing the water pressure regulator as a safety precaution. He again encouraged us to shop the quote, but we decided to give Mike our business because he and Shane did an excellent job installing our water heater, plus we wanted to reward their efforts since they were able to reschedule another job they had lined up because our situation was far more dire. In the end, not only was Mike's quote the best but we genuinely felt awesome about supporting a business that came to our needs the same day and was able to do the actual replacement the very next day. Less than 48 hours passed and the nightmare of not having water and a flooded garage was over. Thanks Mike and Shane! These guys are very honest. We had a large leak from our sprinkler so we had to turn our water off. Mike came to our home first thing in the morning the following day and he was even early. Him and his colleague took a look around the house and suggested we get a sprinkler guy to do the repair using pvc so the pipes don't corrode again and because it'll be much cheaper since their focus is mainly on larger plumbing issues.
