We started our morning and were made quickly and dramatically aware of a major sewage backup. We observed it in our bathtubs, showers, and throughout our bathroom floors. After starting with ChatGPT and discovering my inability to solve the problem, our family went quickly to prayer. I was immediately reminded of my jury duty and ministry companion, Bogart. I called him at 10am and informed him of our problem. He wrapped up the call he was currently on and called me back in 5 minutes. We had a slow slab leak that needed repairs. We called Bogart because we wanted a repair man who is experienced and knows what his is doing to do the repairs. You never know what you are going to get with some of these larger companies. Luckily, Bogart showed up. They assessed the situation and developed a plan. Their plan was to identify where the leak was and determine where it went (like, did it lead to the kids bathroom or the kitchen sink etc.). Then, reroute the pipe in the walls/ceiling to prevent drilling into the foundation. Twenty minutes later they figured it all out. Told me the situation and gave me the quote to repair. These things are never cheap, but, I felt it was a reasonable price for what they did. A few hours later they were all done. The work looked good and they cleaned up. All our water worked and we didn't have to stress about that leak anymore. Such a relief!! They don't do drywall repairs but they recommended a guy. All in all, we couldn't be happier. We were lucky too, they had a job rescheduled right before I called for a quote and that cleared their schedule for us. They were able to come out right away. My toilet was constantly leaking and filling the bowl. Tried replacing the stopper but didn't make any difference. He took the toilet off to take a look since the counter top covers it a little and was hard to see. Once the toilet was removed discovered that the flange was made of metal and all rusted out and the wax ring was all disgusting. Bogar replaced the flange with a new plastic one and new wax ring and new toilet. Everything is as good as new. Cleaned up all the mess and disposed of the boxes from new toilet and old toilet as well. Very professional and good priced. read more
