I live next door to this residence and have had multiple issues with visitors/tenants blocking the driveway/leaving trash out that gets blown onto our lawn. I had them look at a fridge I had. I had to purchase a part and have it install by them. All seemed well until a few days after the install. Fridge started making a noise. Repairman came back and said I needed to defrost the fridge. I then did as was instructed and defrosted the fridge. The problem then returned and went back to making a noise and then it stopped cooling altogether. I went ahead and call them again to get the repairman back out. He said he would call me back...That was a couple weeks ago. Don't deal with these clowns. read more

I had this business come to my home to look at a dishwasher. First of all, they don't even introduce themselves as the business when they answer the phones so that should've been my first indication. The technician comes to my home doesn't even touch the dishwasher stands there for two minutes And charges me $70 stating that he thinks he might know what's wrong with it. He walked away saying he would give me a quote for the part that he believes that's needed and I have yet to hear back from him. It's been two days he doesn't answer the phone, the owner has answered the phone and promised to call me back, but never did. so now I'm out $70 because that fee was supposed to go forward to repairs that never happened. read more

Technician was scheduled to arrive between 3 and 8 pm. No show and no call after we left several messages. They then rescheduled in the morning offering my husband lots of apologies. They did finally arrive however with no apologies for the night before but lots of excuses. We rent our home and the payment was the responsibility of the management company, they refused to take payment from them. After a conversation on the why which essentially is their choice to not take payments over the phone, I agreed to pay, I did not hand him my card but placed it in front of him. He packed up his things and said since I didn't hand him my card he wasn't doing the work. The only thing I can chalk this up to is that I am a women. Called Ace to repair our washing machine that went out. Received a next day appointment. They called about an hour out which was great. When he showed up he came in dress clothes in his personal Car. Took apart the machine and plopped the parts on top. Said he was going to price out the parts and let us know the next day the cost. Charged us a $60 fee. The next day I called twice and no answer, even left voicemails. We ended up having to buy a new one. read more

Nice guy. He fixed my washer fast.... after the waiting period on the part. It's a full size stack washer/dryer & stuck in a very small 'closet' so it was a pain for him to get the dryer off the top so he could work on the washer but he got it down, putting it back was another story. His helper was stuck on 95 with every one else in this area, so he had to ask a neighbor (he had recently repaired that guys fridge). I will keep his number for future appliance problems~ read more

A coworker recommended Ace to me. Mohammed was able to give me an appointment faster than another local company, so I was happy to give his company a try. I'm all for supporting local small businesses. I explained what was happening with my washer, and Mohammed brought the part with him. He took the time to explain to me what he thought the problem was and how the part worked. He gave me an estimate of the cost and amount of time the repair would take. (He charges a very reasonable service visit cost, and deducts that from the cost of repairs and labor. I like that.) Once he installed the new part, he realized there was a problem with the transmission and suggested I buy a new washer. I appreciated his honesty, and he only charged me the amount of the service visit with no additional time that he spent trying to fix it. (He charged me for a visit and all he ended up doing was telling me I need a new machine, but he still charges less than other companies so I'm still a happy customer. He did spend almost an hour trying to make the repair.) My only concern was, when scheduling the visit, Mohammed asked me what time I wanted him to be there. I requested a specific time, but he countered with a later time. I understand he had another commitment, but I didn't understand why he asked me for a time when he couldn't make it for another 90 minutes. I had to take more leave time from work, but it was not bad considering the rest of the experience was very good. Update: During the visit, Mohammed told me he would take my old machine off my hands and donate it to his church (or another charity). I had the new appliance delivery people put the machine in my back yard, and they covered it with a box to protect it from the elements. Despite several calls and texts to Mohammed over the next several days (which were ALL ignored), he never came back to get the machine. My 3 yo gas stove was leaking propane but connection from the stove to the gas line was good. Called ACE & they arrived within hours. Found the problem was in the computer board. Repairman gave me repair & replacement costs, then advised me it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. He also fixed a clogged refrigerator drain, all at a very reasonable price. Called this repair shop to fix a problem with dryer not heating. The repairman came out quick and fixed dryer but now 1-1/2 months later the dryer stopped drying again. I have made several phone calls now and left several messages and spoke with someone once who said the repairman would call back but still not heard anything after 3 days. I think the person that answered the phone and said they would have a technician call is actually the technician (playing games). I am pretty sure this is a one person shop.
