I called my appliance home warranty company and it took four different companies to come out and they were all unable to repair or get my dryer working Finally my home Warrenty contracted Mr. Carlos from Allstar Appliance Repair who came out on Feb 10th, Without fear (dryer is a gas dryer) and Mr. Carlos's superior knowledge Zero'd right in on the problem correctly. Since I'm home from the hospital recovering and with nurses and physical/occupational therapists visiting, it is important to keep surroundings, linen bedsheets clean, and to have my gas dryer operating efficiently and safely with all I have had to endure , and to have someone to come out move the stackable washer/dryer out of its crevice take a look at it turn on the gas and repair it if needed has been the most frustrating experience. I needed a dishwasher repair, the day after thanksgiving (!). Earlier that week, my previous contractor told me that it needed a new sensor. Carlos came the same day I called and not only informed me that the original diagnosis was incorrect, and educated me to as what the problem actually was (literally just needed a hard reset- power off/power on); but he also went to Home Depot to get screws to secure the dishwasher in the frame/to the cabinets... like just as a courtesy. Was not only impressed but also very touched. He didn't have to do that but he did because he knew it would help me in the long run I'm glad I've found an appliance repairman who not only knows what he's doing (seriously, the man knows his sh!t and then some); but also one I can TRUST. And I can't tell you how comforting that is. I've been taken for a lot by contractors who knew I didn't know any better and unfortunately, this isn't uncommon for women to experience. It was an absolute pleasure working with Carlos of All Star Appliance. As a new landlord, I ran into a few issues at my rental property. When my new tenants moved in all of a sudden the dryer and dishwasher stopped working. My home warranty was dragging their feet and I really needed a second opinion. Carlos was quick, efficient and very knowledgable. He came out two days after I reached out to assess the problems and was very upfront about the work that was needed. After a very trying experience trying to get my dishwasher repaired, Carlos came to the rescue. Prior to his visit and diagnosis, I experienced repair person(s) who would not come at the scheduled appointment time, and unfortunately when I attempted to connect to get an eta, I was ghosted. Carlos calls, we discussed in brief the problem, after which, an appointment is set up, and to my astonishment, he's punctual and thorough with his diagnosis. My dishwasher had given up the ghost. LOWES delivered the new dishwasher, and responding from a previous proposal, Carlos called to establish the best time to come and complete the installation. Once again, he was punctual, efficient, considerate of my space, and cleaned up after the job was done. He then ran the appliance for product performance, and was done in no more than a half an hour. We had a hard water softener installed. They installed it backwards which caused resin bead to blow into all of our plumbing systems. This impacted anything using water, including our appliances! Our washing machine was overflowing, and refrigerator water line was clogged up due to resin beads. I tried getting a major retailer out to service the appliances and I had so many issues I yelped for appliance repair and found Carlos. He knew immediately what might be some of the problems, was available within 48 hours and called the morning of to let me know when he was on the way. Awesome Service! I called due to water leaking from what I thought was my dishwasher. I spoke with Carlos yesterday, and he was able to come out to my home the next day. Upon arrival Carlos was very friendly and took the time to investigate the issue and determined it wasn't my dishwasher but a loose nut/washer on the J-Bend connected to my garbage disposal. Luckily, he was able to fix the issue by tightening the nut/washer and testing it for leaks to ensure the issue was resolved. Carlos was very helpful, friendly and transparent with his work.
