This is the second time I've been here. Once for my brothers car when his car window was smashed by a stranger. This time I came in for a rock that chipped my windshield. I was lucky that it was only a small chip which saved me a few hundred dollars to replace the window. For both services I called in advance to make sure they had the windows/service available. The people there are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was so frustrated that day coz some burglars broke my rear passenger window and stole bunch of my stuff at the parking by the road while I was hiking with a couple of friends at Kaena point last Sunday afternoon. I drove to Ace Auto Glass on the Monday morning hoping to get an early reservation or just to "wrap up" the window so I could use the car before it's fixed. Although it's probably the busiest day of a week, Karen managed to find the suitable glass in stock for me immediately then Jay the big friendly mechanic and his colleagues took only 2 hours to fix the new window and clean the glasses left in the car, I picked up my car that morning like nothing has happened to her with pretty reasonable actually even lower than my expected price paid. Took my truck in today to have them seal my window, due to a leak i assumed was in the center of the top of the windshield. They then call me to say they did a water test, which when I called to make the appointment they didnt mention that they would charge $99.00. I already know that there is a leak, I just need to know if its from my windshield. They stated it is coming from my roof. I cannot believe they charging me $100 bucks to pour water on my roof to tell me I have a leak. I then ask, if they marked where the leak is, at least and they did not. What a rip off. Not a service you like to use but glad that they are there when you need it... Had to get my windshield replaced in 2019 because another car had kicked up a rock and cracked the corner of the glass... of course it spider webbed... was told that it cant be repaired because of where it was cracked... and because i have sensing on my car that it would have to calibrated.... so made the appointment at their shop in kalihi and had it fixed... the staff walked me through the process and worked with my insurance... hit a few snags but the service and quality are amazing... read more

Great experience! Thieves broke my driver side window on Saturday. GEICO referred me to the window place they use but they couldn't get the window for my Mini for two to three weeks! I could NOT drive around w broken window for that long! Was referred to Ace which is conveniently located in Kaneohe. I called got an appointment the next day and voila three hours later all fixed! My first review! My car window was broken back in March 2018, I made the mistake of ordering window through the dealership. After two months of waiting, I got fed up with the dealership and looked up Ace Auto Glass. Called the same day, they had my window in stock and an appointment was made the next day! Wow, fast! I can't believe I didn't call them first instead of wasting TWO months for the dealership! Called and cancelled my dealership order. Came in the next day and they fixed my car window in 2-3 hours! Fast! and they even vacuumed the broken glass from my car. On top of that the price was unbeatable, it was $40 cheaper than what the dealership was charging and that wasn't even including labor charges from the dealership. I'm very impressed and will be coming back to Ace if needed again (but hopefully not, seriously). read more

My 2018 Toyota CHR had windshield crack. Servco Toyota referred me to Ace Auto Glass. Called the Pearl City location. Found out, because have to recalibrate sensors around windshield, this branch is the only location that does it. The service was very professional, from appointment until finish. Michelli scheduled appointment Tuesday, and pick up Wednesday. Friendly service. Person who installed, even came out to answer a few questions I had. If I ever need auto glass work again, I will come here, and recommend them highly! read more

Thank you for a timely windshield replacement for my Ford Ranger. Ace Aiea in Hekaha Ctr, responded to my quote request online just after they opened at 0800am. Dropped off vehicle at 1050am with a 1100am appt. Lots of instructions to read on easel in front of office door, saw my invoice estimate hanging on the easel. Pressed remote door bell on the easel to check in. Greeted friendly by the young lady office staff and advised to come back in 1.5 hrs. Came back around 1230 pm after walking around and hanging out at various businesses in the vicinity, Best Buy etc. Worker told me I have to wait another 15 min for glue to dry. Though just before 0100pm, no call, no one came out so I could pickup my truck. I buzzed the remote door bell again, then the young lady came out to give me my keys. They were on lunch. There is no place to sit or wait for customers or me to pickup my vehicle while they finish lunch. They should provide at least a couple of folding chairs for customers to sit and wait, if waiting for a short period of time prior to picking up vehicle. Especially if you get dropped off with a friend or family member. They knew I was outside the garage bay waiting, but it appears there was no urgency to assist the customer in a timely fashion. But replacement was done well, good price, though tech left his white stained cloth on my dashboard with a strong smell of the glue that was applied which made me a bit nauseous. Hate to give them a mediocre rating but here is the story. Great telephone interaction, nice at the service desk, nice waiting room, reused my trim and were able to save me $30 off the quoted price but the car came back with grease stains all over the drivers seat. I was in a hurry and didn't ask them to clean it because I needed to go. Disappointing b/c everything up to the last minute was good. Spent 20 minutes cleaning it later that afternoon and didn't get it all out. read more

Called ace auto glass when they opened. I needed the front driver window replaced on a 2D car. Scheduled for same day at 11 am. Arrived 20 min early to appointment. My car wasn't touched until 1154. Car was finished at 1305. Overall great work from the shop. Even cleaned up glass debris interior. A/c waiting area on site made the wait not as bad. I went here via a mechanic friend's recommendation to replace my windshield. The Kalihi location is open on Saturdays which was my only day off at the time before the crack in my windshield grew anymore. They quoted me a great price, and an accurate estimated time. They were super kind, patient, understanding, and helpful even though it was fairly busy and I overheard a couple difficult customers as well. Even though the cause for the damage waived the warranty, I would still go to them to replace or fix my auto glass again. But hopefully that won't be any time soon. I had to replace the front windshield of my fj cruiser. The molding on the roof has to be removed to replace the window. I was told that it's hard to remove the molding without damaging. The receptionist Karen ordered the molding just in case it needed to be replaced. Jay is super awesome. He replaced the window and was able to save the molding so I didn't have to spend the extra $250. On top of all of that they gave me a discount on the windshield. My passenger rear window got broken into on 11/27/17. Contacted Ace Auto Glass and was helped by Evan. Evan was very patient, answered all my questions, very professional and honest. Brought my car in on 11/28/17 and in a few hours, my glass was done! I found out Evan had did the glass himself and did a great job at cleaning up the mess inside from the broken glass and everything works as originally intended. The installation went very well and the price was great. Prior to my emailing them I had conducted an internet search for a used replacement glass from salvage yards on the mainland. Someone broke into my car on Saturday and smashed the front passenger window. I tried to get the window fixed at the car dealer who told him to go to Ace. Fortunately Ace Dillingham had an opening on Tuesday morning. The service personnel were wonderful and friendly. Once they heard that my husband intended to wait for the repair, the service personnel expedited the work because the work was completed within the hour. Someone broke into my car by smashing out my window this morning! I called all around and got 3 answers 1) They don't have the window I need 2) It'll cost between $230 - $300 3) They only sell and replace the glass as a packaged deal which cost almost $400. Than I called ACE and spoke with the wonderful lady who told me it would ONLY COST $171!!!!! In February 2016 as I was getting ready to leave for work, I found that someone had shot my driver side front window with a pellet gun. After calling my insurance company, I scheduled an appointment to take my Rav4 into safelite glass for repair. But because they didn't have the glass for my car in stock I would have to wait for them to get it in. With the help of my boss, I was able to find the replacement glass at the dealership. The problem was Safelite would not get the glass delivered. I would have to pickup the glass myself for them to repair my car. So I decided to check out ACE Auto glass, they were very helpful from beginning to the end. After calling Ace Auto Glass in Kalihi and informing them that the dealer had the glass which they didn't have, I was able to setup the appointment and they did the rest. They made arrangement for the glass to be sent their, they worked with my insurance company, and all I had to do was show up with my car and they did the rest. All I had to pay was a $50 deductible. I have tried to order a glass from Ace Auto Glass for the last 4 weeks and have talked with a representative, I won't mention names, and granted it is a specialty glass so I took all the measurements - length - width - height, I got the year, make, model, VIN # of the vehicle, I kept making followup calls due to their customer service not calling me back. I have been wanting to bring business to Ace Auto Glass - I heard that they were supposed to have good customer service but with this experience I am totally dissatisfied. My wife made an 0800 appointment there because they were the cheapest and could squeeze us in the next day. They said it would take 2 hours I got there on time. They took my car in at 0825. Already off to a bad start. At 0915 my wife starts bugging me about the car. 0945 I go to look at it. Glass is on. 1000 I ask if the car was ready. She went to go ask the tech, came back and said 1050 firm. I asked why when my wife was told 2 hours. She unapologetically said that's how long it takes. 1100 she starts to ring me up, they don't bring my car out til 1110. 20 minutes after they said they would be done. No apologies, no discount for my inconvenience, nothing. At that point it was too late to bring my daughter to daycare, and my wife missed her doctor's appointment. 2 stars for price, none for service. All other Ace locations even said 1 and a half hours total. Safelight, their competition even said 1.5 hours. I don't know what this location's problem is. read more

I've read the great reviews and had high expectations of Ace Auto Glass. Unfortunately the rear window of my 911 shattered without any clear impact or damage to it. I called multiple glass shops for estimates and was turned away because it was a Porsche. I was able to get 3 estimates and Ace was the lowest. Ace also was the most knowledgeable in the parts needed and process to remove and install the rear window. Nathan Fujimoto, the branch manager took the time to explain how to care for my car until the parts came in. He ordered genuine Porsche parts and had the parts expedited to his shop. He knew I wanted to get my car fixed asap and he scheduled me right after the parts came in. The Ace staff worked well together, Karen at Kakaako, Michelee from Ace Insurance and Nathan worked together to coordinate my insurance payment as well. Lowest price, most knowledgeable and great service makes for a great company to work with. If you are on the windward side and need automotive glass work see Nathan.
