Lisa came to the rescue for a friend of mine whose car was broken into. The thug had destroyed the car's window in order to steal his battery jumper/air compressor. As a reminder to everyone who have a habit of leaving valuables in full view in their vehicle it is best to store these elsewhere. And everyone in the community should watch for one another and report suspicious activity such as a stranger riding around the parking lot where he has no business. That's what happened here in this case. That prior visit by this stranger was a thief scoping the property for items to steal later. Lisa replaced the broken glass with a used one (why replace it with a brand new one when the car itself is an older model?) and even cleaned up the mess. When he was about to remove the makeshift cover that he made she told him not to bother and she took it off for his safety. She even went beyond the call and tried to repair a part on the car. Contacted them on January 23,2023 and they contacted me back and said they would check the next morning for a quote since their wharehouse was closed. So originally I was going to replace the glass myself, a rear quarter window, called around to a few junkyards and the price was from $50-$150. $50 one was remove yourself, very difficult. I called Al's on friday and saturday morning Lisa found the glass and was ready to install within 2 hours. The whole process took only 20 minutes. Their mobile so you dont have to worrying about picking up or dropping off. Quality work. Safelite had told me they couldn't find the glass anywhere in the country, other shops would've had me bring them the glass or would've upcharged the junkyard price. Al's auto glass did not. My poor cars back window was smashed in for no reason while parked on the street in front of Kaimuki. They were able to fully replace my back windshield and cleaned up all the glass from the inside of my car right where it sat. When I first called they said they would call back with a price. They did within 15 minutes. They then had to hunt down the windshield and would call me back when they found it. They did that within an hour of my first phone call. They also managed to fit me in on the same day. I was so happy I didnt have to wait, but I would have just because they were honest and up front the whole time. I will start by saying that I had an amazing experience with Al's Auto Glass and Repair! Long story short was a large tree branch had fallen on both my windshield and hood of my 2011 Scion xD. The branch had broken through the glass on my windshield and also left a huge dent in my hood. I needed my windshield changed as soon as possible due to my need of a car for transportation to work.
