Do NOT use Ace Blind Cleaning Co. On a morning in May of 2024, Craig of Ace Blind Cleaning Co. took our blinds to be cleaned and brought them back that afternoon. We paid the bill without really looking at it because we thought it was reasonable. Having had venetian blinds growing up and then in all our married life, I have gone thru many blind cleaning episodes. Every single time before this the blinds have come back clean and with brand new CLEAN white cords. When Craig left, I noticed that NONE of the cords had been replaced: every one of the cords were just as dirty & grey as when they left. I just thought that maybe besides being dirty, the cords had been in good shape and did not need to be changed. Soooo, a year later one of the blinds stopped working -- the cords had broken at frayed spots inside the top housing of the blind where the mechanics are. Now, a couple others of the blinds are not working well and there is visible fraying on those. In preparation for calling Craig about it, I got a good look at the bill. There were 6 (SIX) blinds to be cleaned but there was an extra charge of $5.00 each for the blinds that were "over 5 ft." -- on (8) EIGHT blinds!!! Also, there was a charge of $10.00 per blind for the nonexisting "re-cording blinds white cords". I have been charged for services that were never given! I angry at myself for not paying more attention and am not even going to bother to call him back for a remedy. Shoddy work the first time, it'll be shoddy remedy too. read more

Do not use. Craig quoted $250. Invoiced for $500. I gave instructions to him on how to enter the vacant house. He called and said he "knocked and knocked, but nobody came" so he left. I agreed he could come the next day. Big mistake. Will never use again. read more

If your blinds need love from long overdue cleaning, you should contact Ace blind cleaning. Blind blades could be cleaned by myself but strings are difficult. They will provide ultrasonic cleaning so all the blinds look brand new! I left a message on business phone#, and Craig call me back on the same day, luckily I could schedule on the next day. 10 Blinds were picked up at 8 am, and cleaned/returned at 1 pm. Pricing is straightforward and super reasonable. The whole service is excellent! I highly recommend them! read more

Totally overpriced- don't waste your money- read on and learn the details. I never received an estimate. He cleaned two blinds and charged me more than twice the price of two new blinds. The old blinds were in great condition and didn't really need cleaning. I only did it, because he was recommended. His invoice is $50.00 per blind, plus an additional "minimum charge" of $150.00. So, $250.00 for cleaning two cheap, small Levelor blinds, and I can buy two new ones at Home Depot for $160.00 total. I see that at least one other customer had similar complaints. If he were really that good, he would know the value of the blinds and know that it makes no sense for people to pay his nosebleed prices when you can buy new for half the price. Also, he'd tell the person, "Buy new blinds, it will be a lot cheaper, and you'll have new blinds." I'm guessing the folks that gave five stars had very expensive blinds or don't realize how overpriced this guy is. My blinds were small 46x36 blinds. At $50.00 to clean each blind it's very close to the $78.00 per blind brand new at Home Depot. With the additional "Minimum Charge" of 150.00 he adds, it's downright extortionate. I was very happy with the service. Craig came at 8 am and removed my aluminum mini blinds and had them back at noon. They look fantastic (bright and white) and his cleaning apparently improved the turning mechanisms - they are very easy to turn now. read more

Extremely happy about my experience with Craig and Ace Blind! He responds promptly, does great work, and prices fairly. He just saved me a lot of money and aggravation. When my beloved pleated shade wouldn't raise, I thought of him first because he had done a great job cleaning/fixing my blinds a few months ago. He took them in the morning and returned them that day! This time, when my shade wouldn't raise, he asked me to send him a few pictures, which I did. Shortly afterwards, he called back. Craig, When I have good service and great quality product I have to yelp it. Craig installed my whole house with awesome honeycomb shaped blinds. 2 years later I decided I needed to clean them so I called Ace. A nice older lady answered the phone and was happy to setup the appointment. Craig showed up at the time promised. He took the blinds for cleaning. They came back on time and looked brand new. How much difference can it make to have your blinds professionally cleaned? HUGE difference. Having the maintenance guy wipe down the blinds is just moving the grime around.
