We've been thinking of new window treatments since we replaced our street facing windows. We saw a brochure at Costco advertising Graber blinds. But we procrastinated and never acted on it. Then at the HMB Pumpkin Festival this past October Bay Home & Window had a booth. We stopped, talked, and make an appointment for a consultant to come out. After a scheduling delay due to overbooking at the Festival we got an appointment. On the day of the appointment the window designer Sarah was on time. Based on our needs she made recommendations which we concurred with. Measurements were taken and an order was placed. We paid 1/2 advance. Over the next two month projected timeframe we received email updates. When our product arrived to the warehouse we received a call for installation date. This afternoon our window installer arrived within the two hour window. Robert A. He was friendly and very competent. He completed our installation in 1/2 hour. We're very pleased with Bay Home & Window from start to finish. read more

Ordered several thousand $s worth of window shades via Costco in April 2026. At the same time, requested that the installer look at a room-darkening blind they had installed in 2024 (also a multiple thousand $ order) which was not coming all the way down to the window sill and therefore didn't properly darken the room. The shades I purchased have a 20-year warranty. The installer said there was nothing he could do. On my insistence, two other installers were sent out to fix the problem, to no avail. During several phone calls with the BH&W production team, the blame was always laid on me, i.e., the window sill isn't level, etc. Do not buy Graber shades from Costco if they will be installed by Bay Home & Window. read more

Bought small window package through Costco and this company was to install. We only had 5 window covering to install. First installer forgot 2/3 of the blinds and only installed two. I took a day off work to be there for install, inconvenient at the least. 2nd install happened two days later Friday 06/05/26. Yesterday day 06/09/26 the window blinds in our bedroom is broken. I have been emailing and calling this company all day and have gotten no return calls. Very disappointing and frustrating. I will be telling my network of people to avoid this company at all times. I brought my wife there for follow up meeting, but this time he was 45 minutes late and said he wanted us to stay for up to another two hours when all we wanted was to get a quote and we didn't have time for that. Like others, I grabbed a brochure on my way out of Costco and booked a consultation. Kevin Dixon came out to our home. He listened to what aspects were important to us and helped narrow down the options to those that would be appropriate. There were a couple in-bath windows that would not be a good fit for anything he had to offer, and he did not hesitate to tell us so. He do not try to push his sales. Kevin also had incredible patience when I was trying to decide between material, color, and pattern. Robert Averilla and Alexis were the 2 installers who came out. They arrived late at the end of the day. They were running behind from all the previous installs but were pleasant and upbeat upon arrival despite this. They put on shoe covers and didn't mine donning face masks upon entry. They efficiently installed 2 shades in less than 30 min. I was impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency despite it being the end of a very long day for them. The quality and appearance of the shades are great! My husband and I went to the Pleasanton fair and found this place which was running a promotion. since we wanted to get our closets done because we ran out of space. We have a walk-in closet that originally just has pvc metal racks for hanging clothes only. We booked an appointment and our designer was Paige. She came to our house and listened to our concerns and hear what we would want to do. Then she would look at the closet and bedroom and did all the measurements. She then assured us that she can make the closet have much more room that we don't even need dressers cause my husband hates those dressers. The next appointment was at their showroom in Pleasanton so she could should us their designs and products. We spent like half a day designing the closet. There were 3d visuals for us to see what our closet would look like. Paige gave us a very detailed and nice design of the closet and we also liked her idea of a Murphy bed for our spare room. She also worked within our price range and made sure she did everything she could to bring it around our price range. The longest part was waiting for the products and after that each room took one day to finish with 2 people. We are extremely satisfied with both of our rooms. When we have issues we reach out and they made sure everything is fixed. Talia, project coordinator, kept us informed of step-by-step status. All three were real professionals; great communication, on-time arrival, clean conclusion of project. On the day of installation, Justin called and informed us of the estimated arrival time and arrived on-time to the minute. He helped dusting the wall before installation, and picked up containers and packings of the custom made blind when he finished the work. We booked a home consultation with this company through Costco. They reached out promptly and scheduled an in-home appointment. Lindsey, their designer, came by and spent nearly two hours with us--showing options, taking window measurements, and helping us narrow down a couple of fabric choices. She was supposed to return the following week to finalize selections and provide an estimate. We spent the entire week thinking through our decisions, only for her to cancel just a few hours before the appointment and reschedule two days later. Unfortunately, she canceled again--this time only an hour before--and didn't even call herself, instead having someone else from the company relay the message. When I expressed our frustration, they showed no concern and simply canceled altogether. Their process seems to require customers to block off multiple two-hour weekday slots during work hours, yet they make little effort to honor their own commitments. If this is how the initial consultation is handled, I can only imagine how difficult completing a full project with them would be. read more

We ordered roller shades through this company as part of a Costco promotion. The process was lengthy and required five installation appointments due to measurement and installation errors. Installers often arrived outside the scheduled window, and one shade was installed incorrectly. The larger shades are very heavy and difficult to operate, but the salesperson did not warn us and talked us out of the motorized option due to the high cost. Overall, the process was not well managed and I would not recommend this company. read more
