I installed blinds costing about $14,000 in 2022. At the time of purchase, I was told they were high quality, came with a 10-year warranty, and that if anything broke, Andy would come to my home to repair it. Recently, one of the blinds broke, so I contacted Andy for warranty service. Instead of coming onsite, he told me to remove the blind myself and bring it to his office. I missed the appointment because of an urgent personal matter and forgot to cancel it. Afterward, Andy called and asked why I hadn't canceled the appointment. I explained the situation and apologized. He then texted me saying he would now charge me an $85 service fee. When I questioned how a missed appointment could affect a warranty repair, the conversation became hostile. During the call, he used derogatory language and was rude and unprofessional.
