Took a car here that the dealership and other shops were saying a bunch of things were wrong with it. Dealer tried to tell me over $3,000 worth of work was needed on it. Dropped the car off to Ronnie to take a look at it. He test drived it and even said::: oh it feels funny, I stopped driving it. He said to leave the car for the day and will get back to me. This alone usually would spark a red flag, esp for a female. I'm thinking, "crap...a lot of work needs to be done on this!!! Maybe the dealer was right!" Ronnie calls me up that afternoon and tells me that it actually isn't that bad. It's just the control arms that was making it feel like that. He gave me a legit price that was way lower than what the dealer said. After I told him to check EVERYTHING and looked at it and told me what he saw wrong, I busted out the dealership paperwork and asked about all the other things that they had listed was wrong. Ronnie said he checked everything and didn't see those things as problematic for my car. Ronnie fixed my car within a day. Runs perfectly now! Saved and showed me the damaged parts so I knew why they were working on. All in all, Ronnie is such an honest and genuine guy. Great conversationalist too! I took to several other body shops in SCV for quotes and they both tried to overquote and never mentioned what Eric saw. I hired Eric at Sierra and he said they could match the paint perfectly (slightly faded due to age) and would not need to overspray the quarter panels. I was a little nervous because the price was lower that quoted by two other shops. Eric and team did a perfect job! He discovered why the clear and paint were failing (not primer and bondo from previous accident!). Before any work began, I reviewed the entire project with them in detail and was quoted approximately $1,500 for the installation. When the work was finished, I was shocked to receive a bill for nearly $10,000. We had added only a few additional items, and at no point was I informed that the cost had increased anywhere close to that amount. If someone is spending thousands of dollars beyond the original estimate, a professional shop should communicate those changes before proceeding. What disappointed me most wasn't just the price--it was the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. Rather than trying to work with me to resolve the issue, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and ultimately ended up in Court and arbitration. We settled the matter for $5,000, which I would have gladly discussed and paid if there had been honest communication and a reasonable effort to resolve the issue before it reached that point. The shop itself also left a poor impression. The showroom, office, and front counter were extremely cluttered and disorganized, which reflected the overall experience I had. Good customer service is built on communication, transparency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend Santa Clarita Auto Sound. Not only they were able to remove my review, but they found out that I have a business and they posted a bad False one star review about My business You can see in the pictures below. So unprofessional!! These guys using young guys that don't have a clue of what they're doing. I spent almost $20,000 with a starting estimate of $4000!!! every time I wasn't happy with the results, the owner, Scott, told me that I will need to upgrade things in order to make it the way I want it to sound.... They installed a stereo system in my new Polaris RZR that I bought BRAND NEW about a year before bringing it to them. I spent so much money and it sounded so bad but every time I came back he told me that I will need to upgrade to a bigger company to get the sound that I want. First, he said I'm gonna need to add a subwoofer. Then he said I'm gonna need a bigger subwoofer. Then he said I'm gonna need one more subwoofer. Then he said I'm gonna need a bigger amplifier. Then he said the speakers are too small and we're gonna need bigger speakers. He even told me at one point that it needs to be heard good from the back of the RZR when it's parked and not if you are sitting in It... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? I ended up taking it out of their shop and getting someone else to take care of it and fix everything for me. Only then I realized the big mess they did and why things we're not right. They messed up all the wiring in my car, they broke pieces and they never took responsibility for it. (See pictures) After I posted the review about them, they decided to find my business and posted a 1 star review about my business by a person who is affiliated with them. And they posted such a nasty fake bad review about myself and my company. I'm not sure why they chose this way instead of taking responsibility for the bed experience I had and the horrible workmanship that they did. They spent a lot of time and effort into my car, but when you don't know what you're doing it doesn't matter how much time you put into it, it would never be done right. I'm really hoping he will not be able to remove this post again and everybody can see the pictures and put it together and figure out what kind of unprofessional personal or in this business. When it was finally completed, I picked it up and after one weekend, the same problem came back. They worked on it again and I still have the same problem.
