The best I could say.My husband had serious issues with his wisdom tooth and other gums issues. Not only were we given professional overview about the seriousness of issue but also were assured an easy treatment. Received a reminder notification that my appt was for 3pm. That was incorrect so I called to confirm and the location confirmed my appt was for 2:45. Welp once 3:00 came I told the clerk, I guess it was for 3pm. She immediately got an attitude. I waited another 5 mins and left. I am a paying customer and if it's past my appt time I will inquire and you are supposed to be apologetic, not have an attitude. Taking my business somewhere else. Great service! Today was my first visit. I was greeted when I entered and the front desk asked me if I was me. Which was nice since they must of been looking out for me. I did not wait long to go back. The entire staff is friendly and listened to what I had to say. My cleaning was great. I enjoyed the TVs in the room. The doctor explained my results of my visit and the front desk clearly communicated what my insurance would cover and not. Already scheduled my next visit! Only negative is that turning into the building and parking is a little tricky. You need to pay attention your first time. read more

I went in for a simple teeth cleaning. I had cleaning done approximately 4 months prior to my visit because I was a heavy tobacco user. Anyway, I had quit already and knew it wasn't that bad but the Dentist was just trying her absolute best to con her way in to my wallet. Run! Dr. Pallavi Rakesh is a complete scam! She claimed I had 6 cavities and never once showed me on the X-Ray. This was after the hygienist told her, while I was in the room, that my mother worked for the company (meaning everything would be covered. Cha-ching for her!). I, like most people do not enjoy the dentist.. However, Dr. Pallavi Rakesh is a fabulous dentist! I had to have two crowns done and the anesthesia was wearing off quickly due to how nervous I was and she would wait patiently and give me another shot to make sure I was never in any pain or discomfort. Dr. Rakesh explained everything that needed to be done so that I would understand and is very kind. The girl who works the front Mary, is also very helpful and sweet. Mary explains every cost and what was done so you know exactly what you are paying for. I am happy to say I have found a new Dentist and hopefully that will relive some of my dental anxiety. STAY FAR AWAY. My wife had her X-rays, teeth cleaning and one cavity filled. I was charged $1532 for this. They have a "special" for teeth cleaning and X-ray for $99 but charged me $880 for teeth cleaning alone. This was with INSURANCE. I spoke to my insurance who was billed $780 and said my portion was $148.80. The office ended up charging me $752.80 not $148.80. The total bill was over $1500 for basic services, again with insurance. I would have been better off going somewhere else even without insurance. I'll be going back to my normal dentist even though it's further away. STAY AWAY. THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE. NO DIFFERENT THAN A CAR MECHANIC. THEY DHOULD BE ASHAMED. Also?", I spoke to my insurance and called the dental office before posting this review. The lady at the dentist office was extremely unhelpful and rude. We will not be going back and recommend you stay far far away. They also made her wait multiple times, she only saw the dentist once for a few minutes during her two trips. This place has the worst service ever, I went there too get a tooth repair and a crown for one other tooth. The Dentist and I went over a plan to fix the front tooth and put a replacement tooth on it. The back right side tooth we will just clean and I'll come back and get it capped later. Well that don't go as planned due to the dentist doing the total opposite. So I was forced to fix both teeth because she didn't follow my instructions and I believe she did what she wanted to get more money, anyways service sucks and I refused to pay for the other tooth that I did want fixed at the time... My Dentist had retired a few weeks ago. I had been going to him for 26 years. Changing any long term doctor is emotional. This firm named ACE DENTAL CARE in Norcross on Steve Reynolds Blvd took his place. Oh my..... was I very apprehensive with all the new associates. I visited them an left my information. I was going to look at other Dentists. A few days latter a Doctor from ACE called me. We had a nice conversation. So I made an appointment. DO NOT HAVE THESE PEOPLE TOUCH YOUR MOUTH! My daughter paid a deposit of $500+ for a root canal. They performed some level of a procedure that was a temporary crown instead that left her in extreme pain for days. They told her to take OTC meds....didnt help. Came back today because she was shaking in pain but the doctor wasn't in. She was told by a worker there she didnt have an infection because "it is not on the xrays". The worker had just arrived to work so what was she talking about? Way too nonchalant!!! We were not told when the doctor would be in nor what to do. When we said we'll go to another dentist, the worker said "no other dentist will touch her". "Come back in and we'll take an xray". What!!? One thing is for sure is that YOU won't touch her. I am infuriated. We went to another dentist (Stonewalk) and they cleaned the area and said she has a "nasty" infection - gave her a shot to kill the pain, antibiotics and 2 other perscriptions. read more

This is a late review but this place is amazing. I've been here a few times and I'm always impressed. This doctor is wonderful. She's very knowledgeable and gentle. She's has fixed and filled so many of my tooth problems I believe we are friends. I have gone to so many bad dentist that I was very happy to have found her. They take same day appointment and the entire staff is friendly. The only thing I hate is my phone don't have reception but they do have WiFi that pretty cool. read more

Dr Rakesh is a "rock star" and the staff at Ace Dental is "first class". My service included deep cleaning, whitening and four (4) replacement caps. The process took several weeks to complete. After moving to Apharetta from Southern California a year ago and being a dental chicken all my life, finding a dentist was not a top priority to me. That is, until I started experiencing pain in a tooth that had a failing root canal. I did my research and after seeing all the great reviews about Dr. Rakesh and her staff, I thought I'd give Ace Family Dental a try. I'm now on a dental treatment plan that addresses my gum health and implant to replace the failed tooth and am pleased to say that the experience has been great! Dr. Rakesh listened to all my anxieties about dental work and getting numbed for it and was so understanding and gentle. She was very thorough in explaining my options to address my tooth pain and took her time to listen and answer all my questions. It had been a while since I had my teeth cleaned so I knew a deep cleaning was in order but memories of past experiences had me anxious. Hygienist Kelly was so gentle and concerned for my comfort. I was amazed at how easy and pain free the experience was and how informative Kelly was about the proper way to floss and brush so I can avoid the need for future deep cleanings.
