I called them to request service and it was almost like I was bothering them. I was given a first available appointment 27 days in the future. Can you believe it; 27 days!!! This is hot, humid, rainy Maine in the summer. I reiterated I was an existing customer and tried to impress on her that this was somewhat urgent and asked for a sooner date. I was told there was nothing sooner but she would escalate to a manager who would call me. 2 days later, I haven't received a call.... In the meantime, I called LaPlante Home Services who said they could be here in under 48 hours. They were polite and seemed excited that I called. The technician arrived at exactly the appointed time, did a thorough analysis of my problem, and completed the work in a little over an hour. The technician was friendly, courteous and professional.
